WHY YOU NEED A TEMPERATURE/HUMIDITY MONITOR . Temperature and humidity are two environmental factors/conditions that cannot be over emphasized in snails farming. It affects visually the overall activities of snails in terms of performance and reproduction. This is why it is important for every snails farmer to have the temperature/humidity monitor so as to know and monitor the relative humidity and temperature of the housing system from time to time to ensure overall productivity of snails. A suitable temperature of 15–25 °C (59–77 °F) with high humidity of (80 to 90%) is best for snail farming, though most species /varieties of snails can stand a wider range of temperatures. The optimal temperature is 21 °C to 25°C for most GALS . When the temperature falls below 7 °C (45 °F), snails hibernate. Under 12 °C (54 °F) the snails are inactive, and under 10 °C (50 °F), all growth stops. When the temperature rises much above 27 °C (81 °F) or conditions become too dry, snails estivate. Wind is bad for snails because it speeds up moisture loss especially in the soil, and snails must retain moisture.Temperature of 32°C is very good also for hatchability of snails eggs amidst a moderate humidity. So it is essential on this note for each farmer to have the temperature and humidity monitor especially for dry season farming. WHY YOU NEED A SOIL PH METER. Soil test matters a lot in Snail farming to be certain your soil is not acidic . Every farm set up; be it cage system(intensive) or extensive free range system of housing ,preparation is required and soil checks is very important.A soil PH of 5.8 to 7.5 rich in calcium and contains organic matter is an essential soil for good snails breeding venture. We need to therefore cultivate the act of testing our soil before introducing it into our housing or free range farms; especially to ascertain the soil ph.A soil ph will help us determine what is lacking and what is inimical and find ways to address it before snails are introduced to minimize risk factors. The soil pH meter is therefore important on this note especially for commercial scale farming enterprise.

Gdday all.Happy new work week.Place order for your hybrid seeds with SEEDWORLD via text, call or WhatsApp on 07082638957. |
Gdday àll.Selling few seeds will not enhance the likely percentage of germination hence we don't sell it so. We sell the full Satchet so one can get a reasonable percentage of germination say 70% to 80%.Sorry for that pls.We have done so before but it was not encouraging. |
