I had a similar case while i was in 500L in the university, i just ignored him because i wasn't afraid of carry over reason was that it will only cost me 5k to write in the summer... By my CGPA First class was not reacheable so i didn't see any point for me to beg him. He was the one that got tired and called me i went to his office he fixed a date for the test that i missed, the day came i wrote in his office to my greatest surprise the questions were the same as the one he gave my colleagues i wrote it happily and left.. After exams i had a 'B'. So when u ignore him he will think of what your plans could be and he will definitely call you. Wish u luck!
