Romance / Re: Does A Beautiful Wife Really Matter In A Long Run? by seemore(m): 8:26am On Jan 09, 2015
How many of our mothers now still look beautiful and sexy. Imagine the older ones that you know. Now imagine how beautiful many of them must have been then. So the point is, in the end the beauty fades and you have to still live with the person. Choose wisely

Dont mind the small boy. People feel bad when they lose their money, car, house, certificate, business, properties etc or fail exam, then he expects them not to feel bad when they lose a fellow human being. You can see how small boys reason.

All these things you mentioned are gone forever. But for people you are supposed to meet up with them in heaven. Compared to eternity the time you will wait to meet with them is very short. But we cry as if we will never see them again like our certificates etc that you mentioned. As if death is the end of it all.
Even the whole christian burial ceremony does not show any sign that this person has gone to a better place. Everything is so gloomy and sad and fear infested that their is no shred of joy that this individual is heading to any beautiful place called heaven.
I don't feel the burial ceremony matches with the expectation of an afterlife with God in heaven in any way.

Religion / Why Do People Cry So Much When Somebody Dies? by seemore(m): 8:20am On Nov 16, 2014
I know the first quick answer is that because they miss their loved ones. But think about it, if we are so sure that there is heaven and the person has gone to heaven which is supposed to be a wonderful place. A place where the streets are paved with gold and has mansions for everybody. No sickness, hunger or poverty. If we know for sure that soon we will be there with those our loved ones, will we truly cry like this.
I think the better reaction should be, ok see you soon my man, take care. Just like somebody that just traveled and we will soon meet up with them.
It's also baffling when announcements of death are made in church and you see everybody looking so frozen and I wonder shouldn't we just take it as a normal thing, infact we should be saying oh this man has gone to enjoy. But the reverse is the case, everybody is afraid to die even the priests. Even when a priest dies the reaction is still not right. Pastors pray for you and say death is not your portion and I am like if you are so sure of heaven why not be excited to go there.
When an old man dies people don't cry so much because they believe he lived long enough on earth, notice the emphasis and consolation in long earthly life. Seems somehow we know it all ends here. Nobody knows what is on the other side if there is an other side. Except what we read in religious books (both bible and koran) and try to believe because it gives us hope of immortality.

Yes, that's inbreeding too.

Inbreeding produces some physical defects. Something is wrong somewhere, either with the Noah story or that there are some medicines that can remove the effects of inbreeding.

Anytime you are listening to advice, remember that the person giving the advice is talkin from his personal perspective. Prophet Udeme is just a kid, he doesn't have marriage in his mind for now. If he did and he is searching, he will know there's no other way to know the person before you propose. You can't invite the lady you want to make your wife for a few minutes interview at an mr biggs and then decide based on her answers to your questions. That's silly. Dating doesn't gaurantee successful marrige, but it sure increases your chances very much. Even some of our grand parents dated and met themselves under mango tree.

Car Talk / Re: Your Opinions: Can Innoson Compete With Giants Like Toyota & KIA In Nigeria? by seemore(m): 10:19pm On Sep 08, 2014
Innoson didn't start business yesterday, he knows all about advertising even more than you. The thing is that their production rate is still less than the demand because they do a lot of things manually for now. When he starts having many unsold units, you will start seeing his adverts. Chill with the advice on him to advertise.
Romance / Re: Secret Revealed!: Why Women Want A 'God Fearing Man' by seemore(m): 5:24pm On Aug 17, 2014
donpeey22: @op, i think you are right in the sense that some ladies think that a man being 'God fearing' is a guarantee that he wouldn't cheat, but that's a very wrong assumption as many of the so called 'God fearing' men and even the so called 'men of God' have been caught in the act of marital infidelity. The truth is that many good men are even atheists who are naturally good and don't have have to live in perpetual fear of any 'god'. It takes a PRINCIPLED man whether atheist or theist, to stay faithful in marriage.

Unfortunately the ladies don't know that.

We like denying the fact that men cheat. Maybe it gives us hope that maybe we too can hold ourselves if we try (for men) or that we can find such men (for women) Some men don't cheat because of reasons beyond their control, however once the environment is ok for them, they will definitely go astray. The degree they will stray is another matter.
Provide health, wealth, attractive females who also find him interesting and an environment where nobody will know what he does and see the man that will hold himself.

Think about it. Most of them say it, and check if they themselves that say it are born again. Even runs girls say that. Do you think they want a man that will lead them to salvation?
Romance / Secret Revealed!: Why Women Want A 'God Fearing Man' by seemore(m): 8:54pm On Aug 16, 2014
Have you ever wondered why women always say they want a God fearing man? I have, and I found out. Women want a God fearing man because that is the only hope they have of securing that man to themselves. Men cheat for reasons that are mostly biological (wired into our DNA). Women know this, so they expect us to, but to they hope we don't.
A man who fears God and doesn't want to sin and offend God is their best bet. They know that their beauty or their sexual prowess isn't enough because there's always another more beautiful or more experienced and their man will find it hard to resist these attractions because of his DNA wiring on sex. Do you agree?

Politics / Re: FACT: You Want A Better Nigeria?, Make An Igbo Man The President by seemore(m): 10:15am On Jul 19, 2014
If you are not Igbo, don't feel threatened that Igbo people will take over everything. The igbo man's business is not run on sentiments, if you are not igbo but you have skills and you know your job he will employ you.
He will also bring this attitude to governance which is something we haven't experienced in this country.
Besides if the drive of the Igbo man brings a little healthy competition into the mix, it will only make everybody sit up.

We need people with the mindset that appreciates progress, detribalised and able to give everyone a shot at making it in life.
Anybody should be able to excel, whether you are from a royal home or not, from a family with a history of government workers or not. If you have ideas, bring it on! That's the igbo style and that's what we need.

Politics / FACT: You Want A Better Nigeria?, Make An Igbo Man The President by seemore(m): 9:52am On Jul 19, 2014
Nigeria will never move forward until an Igbo man becomes the president of this nation. It is a well known fact that Igbo people are the most dispersed tribe in this country. And not just dispersed but doing well in all parts of the country. They develop any area they find themselves in. They excel in business, administration, art, music, academics, build masions and plazas and call all places they live 'home'. Wherever the igbo man is, he doesn't care whether its his hometown or not, his only desire is to excel and leave his footprint there. In my opinion, the Igbo man is the only true Nigerian.
No matter how much money in his bank account, the igbo man must produce something physically so show that he exists and is capable of great things. He wants to be known by his achievements and not just that he has money.
Because of his drive for achievements, his acceptance of the nation as 'one' fertile ground, his innate belief in providing equal opprtunities for all and his determination to stand out among his peers, I believe he is the only person that can save this country. Yes the igbo man likes money, but that is partly because money is the reward for hardwork, a badge of honour showing his achievements and means to achieve his goals.
The igbo man will provide opportunities for all, he will spread development to all parts of the country because his people are everywhere, he will achieve great strides even if its only to make a name for himself and he will focus on improving the economy of the nation. Business will thrive, jobs will be created, everybody will be busy and productive. The whole atmosphere of the nation will change. More and more people will go into businesses, manufacturing and co. He will provide the infrastructure necessary, power and roads and so on because he understands the importance of these to business. Poverty will reduce, laziness will not be tolerated and everybody will be better for it.
What do you think? Please be objective and not blinded by tribal sentiments.
NB: all humans from a tribe cannot be same, the write-up speaks in general terms.
