Dear Nairalanders,

I need your help in a situation I have found myself. As instructed by my fertility doctor for ivf long protocol with down regulation

I took luprodex injection on day 21 of cycle and started primolut same day for 7 days .

I called hospital and they told me to visit hospital for next appointment in 22 days from the day I took luprodex
My Period started 4 days after I stopped primolut but they didn't start stimulation

I called and they said I should still come on the appointed day which is after my period has ended to start the ivf stimulation

From my research ivf stimulation starts on day 2 or 3 of Menses, so now I am confused cos I feel they have made a mistake by not starting stimulation on day 2 of when my period started.

Issue is a bit difficult for me because I don't reside in same city where clinic is located . Hence my procedure requires proper travel and accommodation plans .

I have less than 48hours to take a decision

Please help advice
