We should try to investigate things properly before making unnecessary comments:
Have we ever thought of the following:
1. Maybe he lives in an expensive accommodation that no one will be able to help and he is not ready to change base?
2. Why cant his friend that knew about his predicament help him out?
3. Did he inform his Pastor if actually he is a Redeem minister?
4. His ego may have push him to depression and not his accommodation challenge.

Let us objective in our thinking

Neatboy:
The truth is that so many unholy things are happening in the Church that the leadership are ignorant of. The Church should be growing spiritually, morally financially and in number all at the same time. If only one aspect is growing there definitely will be issues. The Church is the salt of the world, and not just its saltiness or sourness, but if the salt lose its nutritional values it will no longer serve its proper purposes.

Church leaders need to create balance and do the needful. This issue of Church springing up up and down will be minimized if the bigger denominations will properly take care of their ministers like the Catholic and Anglican Churches. I was a Catholic and I know how much the priests are being taken care of, but the greed and selfishness of many G.Os are nothing to write home about.

*Tear Drop On A Suicide Note*

Dearly Beloved,
Those last words you are writing, that last video you are recording, the last audio you are taping, who exactly are you expecting to read, watch or hear it? Who's tears actually worth your selfishness? I know your response would be "who give a fck about who hears it", or you might say "I don't care about who sees, hears or reads it first". You are damn right! Because it is only a looser who thinks that way. A looser you have called yourself that made you want to take the life you haven't given yourself.
Yes you are a looser! For thinking and allowing yourself to be overwhelmed by the situation of things that are meant to pass away like a blown chaff. You are a LOOSER!
Aren't you the same person who just said few seconds ago that you don't give a fck about who reads your Goddamn last notes? Ain't that supposed to tell you that life don't give a fck about who stays or leaves? Ain't that supposed to tell you that life isn't and wasn't a smooth ride right from the beginning?
Oh oh oh... Lolzzz, I see!!! Don't tell me you have just been fooled by alot of updates, uploads and pictures of stars and celebrities you see on news and social media, "Reginal Daniels posing with Benz and Porche of millions of Naira", "Davido buys a watch of 30million", and you begin to evaluate your life base on these? Lolzzz what a fool and a combine looser you are!
Have you ever sat and ask yourself, why do this people acquire anything, no matter how little or big and they bring it online? They cough, sneeze and they post it for you to see? WHY? They all want attention, they want to gain relevance, they want to remain being talked about, they want to escape depression, they want to stay happy, this is because their lives are surrounded by loads of shits too.
No life is without shits, no one is without ups and downs. That a 17year old boy drives a G wagon doesn't mean Dangote that drives his own at 45 is a failure. The boy can die at 28 and Dangote lives till 95.... Then who is more successful?
Get this stuck to you head... *If you want happiness, give it to people around you.* Do not ever think anyone is doing better than you. Do not ever think the debt you are into can never be paid. I remember alot of debt my family was once into, it almost gave my parents high blood pressure and every members of the family was in total shame. But I remember something my brother used to say then, he'll say "No body should give up, die, or go down on sickness just because of all these, because if you die and the situation changes, 'na u lose'". And guess what? All the debt was paid in a day.
A news had it yesterday (Wednesday 15th May, 2019), about a gospel singer who hung himself with his belt because of some personal issues, some say he couldn't pay his rent... But which ever way, let me ask you who is about to do same too now, was he born with those personal issues? Even if he was, does it mean he'll die with them?
Some ended their lives because of relationships and marital discontinuation. In this life that a man marries the love of his life and they both died on wedding day?
Some ended their own lives because of their undergraduate results or Jamb results. In this same world, that a dropout and no-school man is employing both graduates and post graduates?
And don't ever tell me that I don't understand your plight that's why I'm talking like this, I have been into alot of shits and mind you I will be into more tougher shits, because I want to be great. And the greater the heights the tougher, the messier, the hotter and colder, the rougher, the rockier, the uglier the shits. And you know what, I will wait, and I will fight it through.
I will leave you with this quote by a guy who fought all through without thinking of taking his own life just like you, he fought a good fight till he forgot to get married... He said, "The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure." - Apostle Paul (I Cor. 10:13)
No one's worthy of reading and dropping their tears on your suicide notes, videos or audios... Stay back, put that note in your diary and read it to someone one day and tell them those shits you have been through.
Peace of God Be Upon You Now And Forever. ✌️- ©#davidspaul

Pastor J.T kalejaiye is my uncle and a pastor there, so what's your point, by Gods grace every year ending he spends over 8million naira on welfare, and i know other pastors who do same, some of the pastors are lazy, take that to the bank, part-time pastor and you don't want to engage yourself in something resourceful.... naaaa go n work
am talking about welfare of their pastors you are telling me of Kalejaiye spending 8million , what is the church doing to take care of their pastor who make several contributions on weekly and monthly basis for different reasons and projects atleast I know of two senior pastors who have served in RCCG for more than 20 years and are now very sick every attempt to get help for them from the church proves abortive all the get is prayers and prayers

Some guys without a good job rent expensive apartment that even financially stable guys won't attempt ...all in an attempt to impress .

Sometimes a mean can shut the doors of help by the "fake life" they live .

Though suicide is very touching but I won't blame anybody for not helping until I get full details.

That's why Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda said he closed 2500 churches last year alone, cos they can't be deceiving gullible members into parting away with their hard earned cash.

Buhari is the ultimate problem. We all know how deficient he is. 4year rule, spent more than two years travelling. So its a no brainer.

Adeboye messed up as well. Even if you pastors are in millions, you cater to them all or what is the offerings and tithe for. Their welfare should be priority always.

"How many suicides (not talking suicide bombings) do you hear of in other religions?"
And how many have you heard of in Christianity?

What makes you think he committed suicide because he couldn't pay his rent?

Do you know if the church had, at one point or another, rendered financial assistance to him?

While I agree with you to a large extent that "this is not the model the apostles set up after Christ left them in charge...that the church flourished mainly because everyone's need was properly taken into cognizance and that the 21st century church has greatly strayed, and terribly misplaced her priorities," but do you know that what you called 'model' was abused? That made "theTwelve gathered all the disciples together and said, "It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables." (Acts 6:2). This tells you that the 'priority' of the Church is not to "serve tables" but "the ministry of the word of God."

My good sir, you made very salient and commendable points, but you erred in your haste to defend the church (which was a bit unnecessary as I didn't even attack but merely admonished)...

I never said anything about "priority", rather that the church has misplaced her "priorities"... And yes, the church has priorities with the word coming top. That doesn't mean welfare should be neglected: If you argue that it is not the case, then you need to do some more research (I have done mine).

The apostles you talked about instituted to elect deacons because they saw the welfare of their converts as a priority (which validates and buttresses my point)... If the present day churches were truly welfare-oriented, we would not have those issues I mentioned. How do you explain planting churches all over without equipping, and catering to the needs of the ministers? Is funding supposed to fall from the sky?

Concerning suicide rate vis-a-vis religions, google is your friend... Most of the reported suicide cases in Nigeria alone in the last 4 years, what religion predominated?

No need for defensiveness... We are the church, and we have to look inwards. The Bible says judgement will truly begin from the church.

nobody can shift me from my faith! not even a pastor. my brother the guy narrated the whole thing in a swift you even confirmed it by saying is rent issues. pastors of nowadays are good at using people for their own gain and personal interest. they collect salary but can't pay any form of allowances to the workers to assist them. workers wait for God to pay them while pastors flourish in tithes and offerings sending their kids abroad to school while many workers are dying

The chances that a young pastor who has got a bright future ahead of him, who knows the bible in and out, who knows the implication of taking own life, would easily conclude the best solution to his financial problem is to kill himself are very slim.

These are the issues:

1. Who was there when the act was carried out? if nobody was there, how are we so damn sure he committed suicide?

2. What about if someone killed him and made it look like suicide?

3. Was there any forensic evidence to show he committed suicide?

We Nigerians are too quick to judge on issues we know nothing about.

This is Nigeria, always double check and confirm before you pronounce.
