As far as I'm concerned, Putin outsmarted the NATO.
He knew what the US through NATO did to Sadam Hussein and Gadaffi for opting to deal international business without using the Dollar bill. (Euros and Libyan gold respectively)
Putin had a deal with China to deal in Euro but while US was setting Ukraine up with about $300m, Russia was regulating the Cryptocurrency in preparation for sanctions (e.g SWIFT for international transfers)

Interesting part: US/NATO cannot ban Crypto to punish Russia without biting their own fingers. That would be NATO countries detonating nuclear weapons in their own homes.

700 soldiers in less than 2 weeks ? The UK lost less than this number in Afghanistan over 20 years. Even Nigeria has not lost 700 soldiers in less than 2 weeks.

The Russian army is overrated and the reason why Putin keeps talking about nuclear weapons if because his military is rubbish.

The battle of Stalingrad was the turning point of world war two when Russians scored a decisive but very costly defeat on the German armed forces. After this battle Germany started to lose the war.

Some of the fiercest soldiers who fought in this war on the side of the Russians were Ukrainians.

To anyone that has been following and understands all that has transpired between Russia and US/NATO over Ukraine, this is a proxy war (Cold War), which is not new. The only new thing is that people are being tele-guided via the mainstream media into taking sides somewhat blindly.

Ukraine is clearly the loser (having been successfully used as a bait to revive a dying NATO), with Russia (for swallowing the bait and becoming the new found boogie man) and Germany (for allowing Biden to thwart their economic pipeline in favor of American interests and the US military industrial complex) following closely on the losers table.

The clear winner is Joe Biden (and the military industrial complex whose shares have been rising), who needed to divert attention away from all his problems of inflation and rising costs of energy at home. Biden did the same thing by issuing vaccine mandates to divert attention immediately after the disastrous withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. Check the time stamps. But of course most people who follow such news outlets (CNN, BBC and co) and their controlled narratives do so without asking critical questions.

For instance, where is the outrage over the Iraq invasion by the US and NATO, or have the weapons of mass destruction been eventually found? The answer is that most people’s minds are controlled by the talking points in the mainstream media (CNN, BBC and others), which is why you are irate as intended.

Let’s even bring it home, France is still occupying and feeding off some African countries, and even supports dictators and their children (Chad, Cameroon etc) to continue ruling. There is war in Ethiopia but no one is outraged at the suffering. This is because people only get to think what the western media house projects for them to think and focus on. They even teach people how to respond to their news.

TBH, nobody likes what Putin has done, but it is debatable seeing that the US and NATO have acted in similar manners over and over again. So more people are using this incident to call out all such wrongful invasions of the past with the hope of stopping all illegal military expeditions in the future. The merit in this is that it rightly highlights the hypocrisy of the US and NATO who have in recent past invaded and destabilized several countries (Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, Syria with the opportunity to put a stop to all such madness under whatever guise.

But here you are quickly resorting to the tribal slurs over something that is clearly not delineated or based on tribal affiliations. Quite shameful tbh.

A nuclear bomb in Ukraine will be the end of Ukraine and no doubt the aftermath will be felt in neighbouring countries, many of whom are NATO members. It will be a dumb move because Ukraine will be uninhabitable, the war will escalate and end with a nuclear holocaust that will affect the whole world. No winners or losers. He is right but also wrong.

Russia had no right to invade a sovereign nation. Every nation on earth should be free to determine their future based on the United Nations charter of 1945 that " expresses the position that peoples have the right to self-determination in Article 1 of Chapter 1, however in Article 2 it also makes clear that the integrity of states is vital".

Therefore, both the USA and Russia are guilty of committing atrocities based on their desire to dominate other countries and spheres of influence.

By inference, Russia is WRONG again and again because the people of Ukraine have a right to determine their future irrespective of Russia's plans to continue flouting the UN Charter of 1945.

Putin must fail in Ukraine and the USA must also fail in their attempts to dominate and subjugate developing and poorer nations.
