I just read through our comments in June, when we were worried we'd have to wait for 3 months (thinking we'd resume TS at most, immediately after the first batch). Everybody was like "3 months is a long time to wait"

But here we are, we've waited 7 months and we didn't faint . For those who are working already, the wait wouldn't have been as frustrating as it has been for people who are currently unemployed, like me. I Thank God for Grace and the strength He gave every one of us to remain hopeful.

So like play, like play... In a few weeks, we'd get D&M mail .
Guys.. guys, start preparing o... Documents, corporate wears, accommodation (if possible, get places in ikeja environs and/or lekki environs; so we don't spend most of our allowance on transport fare), etc...

First Bank has finally sent an update . First quarter of 2020 is when we'd resume training school. Resuming March may be far but at least, we now know it won't exceed March. Thank you First Bank, for remembering us ooo

I asked him. He said they were sacked; not that their contracts ended

I saw a news abt firstbank sacking over 1000 contract staff nationwide, so i posted it.
Bt wen i dug deeper i realised its 2017, so i tried deleting d post.

They actually just sacked at least 2 people in every branch. My friend who works with First Bank told me today. He said 3 people were sacked in his branch

It's not might, it has extended till next year. All I'm hoping for is D&M this year, so we're sure of training school in January

I hope so too. Waiting till that time won't be funny at all. If only they could at least call us for D & M before the end of this year, then we'd be sure of TS by January

We got "Congratulations" mail June 6th. Got "Reassurance" mail August 14th. That's 2 months interval. And from then till this week is another 2 months interval. I thought by now, they would have sent an update mail even if it's not the D & M mail.
First Bank please, we need another reassurance mail at least. Even if TS would resume January like some have speculated, please don't keep us in the dark. Please send some Good news.

Yh, anytn TS nd first batch finished today. Other things being equal, a set shld hv resumed at thr various branches on Mon, anoda set to resume nxt week nd d last set completed TS today.
Gettin a D nd M mail later ds week, to hold nxt week nd consequent TS mail later ds month is not too much to ask.

Lol ... Well planned. I pray it happens this way because this "Refreshing" saga has become too much. The first thing I check on my phone every morning and the last thing before I sleep is this thread. First Bank please ooo so you don't end up noticing signs of High BP when some people come for Medicals. Biko

If there would be a third batch, I don't think they've sent them "congratulations" mail yet; that would be a really long time for people to wait. So since they've said we'd join the next batch, they'd have to take all of us at once. I think that's why there are 3 training centres instead of the main foundation school; also the reason for no accommodation.
P.S. Just my opinion, not sure
