ThaThinka: Thanks for your response, sir. Please could you suggest sample professional course(s) for someone thinking about possibly starting his own business? For the part I bold, may I know what you think of the prospect of someone in his 30s with a Master's degree but without corporate work experience? Thanks. Thinking of setting up up business, professional MBA is relevant. For the corporate work without experience, let me use NAFDAC as an instance; With your masters degree, you need not write the aptitude test and you are qualified for a position above the entry level where competition is not as tough as those applying to th entry level position. However work experience I still very important/relevant when applying to a job. |

The main advantage masters degree in Nigeria confer on you is that it gives u an edge for progression/advancement at your place of work. I won't advice an entrepreneur to go for masters in Nigeria, I'd rather advice he go for a professional course. However, if the plan is to go into the corporate world as an employee, by all means go for the masters |

You're lucky to get it at that price, 120k @Randle. I searched in2014 for a room & parlour on the same road & got 350k. You're also lucky they ain't insisting on 2yrs. The way they calculate it is this, they charge 10% of total amount payable for agency fee and 10% for agreement fee which is why many insist on taking 2yrs. I don't knw why you're charged 50k |

dre11: He said, “If the concerned students have passports, they will be admitted as international students, but they cannot serve in the National Youth Service Corps scheme after the completion of their programmes. They have to go abroad for their Master’s before they can serve.
“However, if the students do not have passports, they have to write the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and be admitted like any other local student.”
