Who is wrong, who is right?

This is what happens when no one is willing to surrender. Loss of life!!!

In defense of Homeland and freedom.

Yet the world is so large that we can never finish living in all the land. Why die for this particular land when there are other lands elsewhere to live?

In defense of freedom. Who said you cannot be free elsewhere.

You cannot surrender this Homeland, yet your great grandfathers surrendered there Homeland to settle here.

Jesus Christ is the way to peace.

He said "do not return a slap..."

He said "surrender even your last cloth to the oppressor..."

He said "love your fellow human as you love your own.."

The world can never know peace as long as we keep ignoring him

Israel cannot surrender to Palestine and Palestine cannot surrender to Israel.

Hahaha

Ipob cannot surrender to Nigeria and Nigeria cannot surrender to ipod

Hahaha

The killings continue. The propaganda continue. The crocodile tears continue.

Humanity is blind. His vision has been beclouded by his identity. I am this, I am that. Yet when he returns to the grave, he knows not what he really is

Politics / What Can We Do To Have A Lasting Peace In The World? by selfemployed(m): 3:59pm On Mar 24, 2022
With the war going on in Ukraine, it can be said that the whole world is at risk. This because if anything happens and Putin decides to make use of nuclear weapons, a chain reaction from other countries that could destroy all human life may happen.

Man has been fighting wars with each other from the beginning of time, yet we have not been able to learn from past experiences on what to do to have a lasting peace in the world.

What really is the cause of all these wars and what can be done to stop them?

Could a one world government be the solution?

Just as the European union is unified and there no wars among the members, could the rest of the world have something to learn from that?

My cousin sister is living with us...she came of recent.Sometimes she expose parts of her breasts or laps and comes to me in a sexual way.

She sits on my lap and always deny that we're biologically related.

I tried all I could to avoid her but she's always on my neck.

It depends on the degree of relationship to you.

If she's your second generation cousin, you're free. You can even marry her. Your genes are not too close

Forget all these traditions and mindsets.

https://www.courtroommail.com/yes-you-can-marry-your-cousin-under-the-nigerian-law-you-can-also-marry-your-father-in-law-if/#:~:text=It%20is%20totally%20within%20the,cannot%20marry%20her%20husband's%20father.

Yes, you can marry your Cousin under the Nigerian Law-You can also marry your father in law if…

Under the Nigerian Law, there is a list of people you cannot marry. That list is treated in this article. For your information, your cousin is not on the list.
This article was informed by two experiences. The first experience showed me how ignorance of basic law can affect someone. Few years ago, I ran into a Nigerian man who lives in London and happens to be in love with his cousin in Nigeria. They had planned to marry then relocate the girl to the UK .According to them, they had a big challenge. The challenge is that they were cousins and bear the same surname so are afraid that they may not contract any valid marriage in Nigeria which will also affect the processing of the girl’s papers to the UK as his wife. He said someone had told him that he cannot marry his cousin under the Nigerian Law obviously he did not find a Lawyer

That is not true. Unfortunately, he lived with this self-inflicted challenge for four years before he finally discovered that he can actually marry his cousin validly under the Nigerian Law. Well, I do not know if they lived happily thereafter considering the pressure that came from their native law and custom. The truth still remains that they have done no wrong under the law.

Looking for a Lawyer in Nigeria,Kenya,Uganda- click here
The second was a radio program where a woman called in to say that she was in love with her father in law and wanted to marry him. Though people responded on moral grounds but legally speaking, as a general rule, she cannot marry her husband’s father however, she can if she fulfils one condition.

The Matrimonial Causes act which is one of the laws regulating marriage in Nigeria provides for two types of people one cannot marry.
These two types of people are
1. People you are in the prohibited degrees of Consanguinity with
2. People you are in the prohibited degrees of Affinity with.
If you go into Marriage with any of these people, your marriage will be void in the case of number 1 above and may be void in the case of number 2 above.

PROHIBITED DEGREE OF CONSANQUINITY:
Where parties to a marriage are within the prohibited degrees of consanguinity, the marriage is void. This means that the law does not recognise it as having existed at all.
The Law provides that a man and woman cannot marry any of the following people
His: Ancestress, Descendant, Sister, Father’s Sister, Mother’s Sister, Brother’s daughter, Sister’s daughter.
Her: Ancestors, Descendant, Brother, Father’s brother, Mother’s brother, Brother’s son, Sister’s son
Descendants include one’s children, Grandchildren including step children etc
Ancestors include father, mother, Grandfather, Grandmother etc
Any marriage that involves any of the parties above is void.

PROHIBITED DEGREE OF AFFINITY:
The law also provides for the type of relationships that fall under this category. However, the law makes it flexible and provides that you can indeed marry a person who you share this kind of relationship with if you obtain permission from a Judge. It provides thus: Where two persons who are within the Prohibited degrees of Affinity wish to marry each other, they may apply in writing to a judge for permission to do so.
If the Judge is satisfied that the circumstances of the particular case are so exceptional as to justify the granting of the permission, the Judge will grant it.
The law under this prohibits a man from marrying his Wife’s mother, Wife’s grandmother, Wife’s daughter, Wife’s daughter’s daughter, Wife’s son’s daughter, Father’s wife, Grandfather’s wife, son’s wife, son’s son’s wife, Daughter’s son’s wife.

It prohibits a woman from marrying: Husband’s father, Husband’s grandfather, Husband’s son, Husband’s son’s son, Husband’s daughter’s son, Mother’s husband, daughter’s husband, Son’s daughter’s husband, Daughter’s daughter’s husband.

In view of the above provisions of the law, there is nothing prohibiting a person from marrying his/her mother’s or father’s brother’s/sister’s child (His cousin). It is totally within the law and very legal and valid if you desire to marry your cousin in Nigeria.
On the other hand, as a general rule, a woman cannot marry her husband’s father. However since that relationship falls within the prohibited degree of affinity, any woman who desires to marry her husband’s father or any man who desires to marry his Son’s wife must obtain permission from a Judge to do so and furnish very good reasons why such permission should be granted.

I first of all connected my four diodes in series, then my 1k/25v capacitor followed by transistor, 0.1/25v capacitor, light emitting diodes, USB port then my 240v transformer on the connection board, I read it with my meter and it gave me exactly 5v.
You can watch the video below

How do rate this my small project?

Can it be cheaper than the ones in the market?

With this FG is supposed to ban the importation of all mobile phone chargers

It’s actually your conscience that judges you when you feel you have done something wrong, it was a mistake yes, but you still can’t help that guilt feeling you get after.

Conscience no longer tell us what is right and wrong. Society and traditions do. They condition our beliefs and psychology

Take for instance, until daddy freeze started talking about tithing, many people had been dying in guilt because of it. Not just that. So much more

making love is a private moment that you wanna share with only your partner (unless you get turned on by peeping toms), so it is perfectly normal to feel ashamed/shy/disturbed about being caught making love

Privacy has something to do with secrecy. So also is hypocrisy

Romance / Why Do Humans Feel Ashamed When Seen Making Love by selfemployed(m): 6:35pm On Mar 12, 2022
Today I read on the front page of a guy who bumped into his parents making love. And the mom got angry and shouted at to get out.

I've been trying to understand it.

Why did the woman get angry when she's not committing a crime with her husband?

Why did the guy feel guilty when he didn't commit any crime

Why do porn actors not feel angry or embarrassed and angry like the woman.

I'm thinking that the human psychology has been messed up with a lot of traditions and beliefs that have no real value

Business / Re: Ruin By Online Loan App, Don't Know How To Break Free by selfemployed(m): 4:57pm On Mar 12, 2022
Duke007:
Hi every one, l have been a nairalander for over 10 years and have seen people get advised here, thats why l am putting this up with my account.
I am not blaming anybody for my predicament, neither do l blame the loan app company for their shark like business sytle, l take responsibility for my actions. I am one of those people who criticized people for Falling into the trap of online loan company. It's basically a rat race syndrome and tends to take you deeper and deeper from the seemingly innocuous first attempt.

It all started when my side hussle of buying and selling food stuff suffered a decreased in cost of replacement due to inflation and my sales boy stealing my money. I took my first loan to boost my business and realized that the cost of the loan is high. Since then, it's been a malicious cycle of robbing Peter to pay Paul. I realized that l was lossing money in each transcation and in order to meet up with my payment to avoid defaulting, l resorted to other loan company. Now, l don't even no what to do, all cash injection coming to me is spent on servicing the loan. I can't even feed my family and pay my children school fees. I am tire of this scenario and want to break free. It has taken a toil on me physically, mentally and spiritually.

I seek advice from people who have gone thru this ugly experience on how to break free before it is too late. Below is the list of my indebtness:

Ucredit #22,976. 15.03.22(due date)
Oxloan #26,250. 17.03.22
Lcredit #60,000. 17.03.22
Eazycredit #58,904. 21.03.22
imoney. #20,242 24.3.22
Okash #42,416. 31.3.22

I welcome any useful suggestion on how to break free. Thanks
