Why should Reno wait for Tinubu to sue him for this?

Why not sue Tinubu and prevent him from contesting if the law is specific about it?

Is there any law that prevents an ex-drug lord from being a Nigerian president?

Politics / Tinubu Is A Drug Lord - Reno Omokri by selfemployed(m): 6:58pm On Jun 28, 2022
Reno omokri in a Facebook post has claimed to have documents to prove that the APC flagbearer for the 2023 presidential election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a drug lord

The bigger issue with Tinubu is not his certificates, or lack of them. It is the fact that he is a KNOWN DRUG LORD who was involved in a heroin drug cartel in the US, and forfeited millions in drug funds to US authorities. As any lawyer will tell you, a forfeiture is an admission of guilt!

We have the court documents. We have the names of those involved and their past and current addresses. I again challenge Bola Tinubu to sue me if these facts are not accurate. He is not a fit and proper person to occupy the office of the President of Nigeria.

Politics / A Lesson To Learn From Ike Ekweremadu Kidney Matter! by selfemployed(m): 2:12pm On Jun 25, 2022
A Lesson to Learn from Ike Ekweremadu Kidney Matter!

By Nick Agule

Ike Ekweremadu is obviously a powerful man. Spending his 20th year in the Senate of which 12 were as Deputy Senate President.

He could have used the time to get Nigeria a world-class kidney hospital but no! He didn't need kidney treatment so it was his least bother.

Things happen and his own child needed kidney treatment. As it is with President Buhari and everyone who has held office in Nigeria, Ekweremadu shamelessly took his daughter to the UK for treatment where he was going to be attended to by Nigerian nurses and doctors whom Ekweremadu and gang chased away with total neglect of the health sector.

But Ekweremadu did not go with his child alone, he took along a boy who was suffering hardship and pains from a Nigeria Ekweremadu helped to damage. Ekweremadu wanted to harvest this boy's kidney to save his own child. As fate will have it, tests performed on the boy showed his kidney was not a match for Ekweremadu's daughter.

Ekweremadu began to make arrangements to return the boy to Nigeria and obviously take another one to the UK. But the boy tasted and enjoyed the good life in the UK something Ekweremadu and his band of bad and failed leaders deprived him of in Nigeria.

The boy saw electricity 24/7 (powered by gas from Nigeria), he did not need to start 'I better pass you generator' or he sleeps in darkness to the joy of mosquitoes.

He saw how clean and beautiful the hospitals were different from the mortuaries we call hospitals in Nigeria, and absolutely for free.

He saw how efficient the Metropolitan Police were securing the neighbourhood and not the Nigerian police starved of funds by Ekweremadu and gang! The boy enjoyed rides on clean and efficient public transportation (buses, trams, light rail, underground tube, trains, boats etc) and not the Okada, Keke and endless trekking in Nigeria.

The boy was awed by the beautiful landscaped, trash free and green environment and not the filth he is used to in Nigeria. The boy saw food everywhere. He saw beautiful schools from nursery to reception to primary to secondary all the way to high school absolutely free. He saw that his dream of university education will be realised even if he has no money for fees, and ASUU will not truncate his dream in the UK.

The boy saw unemployed people paid benefits by Govt. The boy saw, enjoyed and liked the UK better than Ekweremadu's Nigeria!
The boy decided he was not going back to Nigeria damaged by Ekweremadu and gang!

The boy ran to seek refuge from the metropolitan police. In Ekweremadu's Nigeria, the police would have arrested the boy and dropped him in Kuje prison where for the next 10yrs he will still be on 'awaiting trial' roll. If the boy tried to talk he will be summarily executed and his body paraded as an armed robber gunned down by the 'gallant' police. Ekweremadu and his gang are above the law in a lawless Nigeria they have created.

Unfortunately for Ekweremadu, the UK is not Nigeria. He has exchanged his posh mansion in a highbrow neighbourhood in London for a police cell where he is being schooled in the act of rule of law something he is obviously lacking in his nearly 20yrs as a law maker.
Ekweremadu will have his day in court.

His victim will now enjoy life in the UK because it's easy to prove that if he returns to Nigeria Ekweremadu and his goons will go after him!
If Ekweremadu had done his bit to fix Nigeria, all this drama would not happen!

Ekweremadu and those like him who think they can do well when Nigeria is sick have just found out the bitter truth - no one will prosper better than Nigeria. If Nigeria fails, we fail with it!

In 2023 we have a unique opportunity to elect leaders who understand that our fate is tied to Nigeria's fate. We rise or fall together!
Go get your PVC today!

We wish Ekweremadu's child a quick recovery hoping that now his case is public, a donor will soon be found for her.

I think Siemens transformed power in Egypt.

I don't know what happened to that contract after Buhari and Abba Kyari signed it.

Till date, no execution.

Germany opted out because there's no plan to finance the project.

But look at the money they've wasted on railways.

We have been surviving without railways.

If Egypt can generate 66000 Megawatts of electricity, then Nigeria can do better without a failed APC government that succeeded in crumbling electricity capacity to 9MW

These people in APC is just acting as if good governance is an advanced further maths.

Whereas they can simply ask other successful countries to teach them what they don't know

1 Tinubu
2 Osinbajo
3 Amaechi

None of the three has nothing for us in Nigeria. They are all rich already! However out of them I go for BOLA TINUBU. He is a grass root politician with national coverage and supporters. He alone can battle Atiku.

Politics / Re: Opinion: My Permutations For Candidates For The Apc Presidential Ticket by selfemployed(m): 9:45pm On Jun 05, 2022
Massiveglory:
Chief Bola Tinubu. 2.5/10
Tinubu has little or no chance for being the Apc candidate. From the world go, they never wanted him to have it. The ranting that happened few days ago only gave them more ways to deal with him.
From my crystal ball, the only way he will get the ticket is if they have decided to do a Jonathan on him by going in droves for atiku.

Chief Ogbonaya onu. 3/10
Ogbonaya onu, the eastern chief is a dark horse in the race.
He also has slim chance. But being a reliable longtime friend of Pmb , anything can happen.

Yayaha Bello: 2.5/10.
Yaya Bello should not be overlooked. He is young, bold and has been working seriously. Politics is a funny game and Suprises are not in short supply.

Ahmed Lawan. 5.7/10
In today's politics, the senate President has a good chance of clinching the ticket. He is the only northern still holding on for it, and the northerns can do a Last minute convergence and support for their own. Also the northeast where he comes from has not produced a president , so he has that advantage.

Prof. Osinbanjo 5.8/10
For me, the Vice President has a good chance of being the candidate. He is loved across borders to a good extent.
The main obstacle I see for pastor, is the perception that he is from tinubu. I know the cabals do not fancy tinubu.

Rotimi Ameachi: 5.9/10
If the Apc is serious on a southern candidate for their ticket, Rotimi Ameachi for me has the brightest chance for picking the ticket. His names alone is a mixture and balance of the south.
He is lively man and has a visible connection to the president and the cabals. He delivered twice for Pmb as his campaign director and so has a good chance.

Umahi, Fayemi, Akpabio and the rest: 2/10.
I don't see them as pulling any strings. But never say never in politics. Anything can happen.

Rochas Okorocha is the anointed one

Politics / Re: I Want To Sue Seun(owner of nairaland). How Do I Go About It? by selfemployed(m): 1:58pm On May 24, 2022
SPTruth:
I want to sue Seun and if possible Linda Ikeji because they have allowed their platforms to be a breeding ground for tribalism and hate. Worse, it is disturbing my mental health.

This is exactly how terrorism starts. People begin to sow the seeds of hatred, in 5yrs, those seeds will germinate into full blown violence, killings, discrimination, rape and deaths.

Seun, do you realise how dangerous and toxic your platform is? You have a growing youth population of 16yrs and above, and you are exposing them to this high level of hatred. In the next 20yrs these young people will be in charge of different sectors and industries of the country. How will they rule effectively as full blown tribalists? You can hardly go across a thread without seeing at least five tribal banters on frontpage alone.

SEUN YOU ARE BREEDING A NEW SET OF TERRORIST THAT WILL TORMENT THIS COUNTRY IN 10YRS TIME.

Personally, While growing up, even up to university level, i had friends from all over the countru because i attended a Federal Government secondary school. I had both Muslim and Christian pals. I didn't even notice that we came from different tribes just few years of nairaland, i now see my friends as afonja, yoruba muslim, nyanmiri, aboki etc. At a point, i had to stay off nairaland to restore my mental health. Now I feel better, but i find it hard to read comments on front page because i don't want to be infested with this hate virus that is spreading.

Do a Google search for nairaland threads between 2009-2011, you won't believe it is the same nairaland we have today. The comments are so serene and mature, no insults tribal or religious. HOW DID NAIRALAND GO WRONG? Someone started to spread hate and tribal jargons. Now it is a norm, it is well spread and it is still spreading.

I need legal advice. IF SEUN DOESN'T DO ANYTHING CONCERNING THE TRIBALISM ON NAIRALAND BETWEEN NOW AND JULY 30, 2022, i will take legal actions against this platform for the sake of the future of Nigeria.

If I don't see any change by June 15, 2022, i will report the Tribalism case on nairaland to the twitter community, if no change still, I will proceed to the court of law!!!

I need suggestions from lawyers, like the best type of court, how much it will cost etc. You can call if free consultation, well if Nigeria is the only Father land you have and you care for the future of your children, sharing some advice on this platform is worth the sacrifice.

Watch the timelines..

Sue Lie Mohammed for negligence of duty.
