Maybe telecommunication companies are spending a lot on power supply. If on buhari had used the China loan to fix power or the refinery. Things could have become better 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Why The Bill To Prevent Medical Brain Drain Is Counter Productive by selfemployed(m): 6:12pm On Apr 09, 2023 |
Volksfuhrer: Someone said federal government is spending a lot to subsidize the training of medical doctors in Nigeria. So, government can't be training doctors only for them to relocate to other countries. If the doctors can't put in the work, they should go and study in other countries where it's very expensive |
Politics / Why The Bill To Prevent Medical Brain Drain Is Counter Productive by selfemployed(m): 9:53am On Apr 09, 2023 |
I read recently of the Bill seeking to prevent Nigeria trained medical doctors from leaving the country until they've practiced in Nigeria for at least five l. In my opinion, this would be counter productive to the Nigerian economy. Instead, this is what the Bill should seek to achieve: 1. Increase the capacity of Nigeria universities to produce more qualified doctors. 2. Encourage the doctors to leave the country to more developed countries and work there for at least ten years. 3. During their years of service in the more developed country, they must use part of their earnings a hospital in Nigeria of equal standard and equipments with the ones abroad. 4. In situations, where they cannot achieve this individually, then they must be grouped together with fellow Nigerian doctors abroad to achieve this. 5. When this is achieved, then, they could choose to return to Nigeria to work in the hospitals they've established or return to train other Nigerian doctors to work there while they return abroad after the training. This in my opinion is a better approach to achieve development than what we currently have. Thank you Onutochukwu Uche uchetochukwu@gmail.com |

You're married with four children. Then, this beautiful girl with big breasts and nyash seduced you in your office. She gave birth to a baby boy for you. Maybe she threatened you with blackmail if you don't marry her. You love your wife and kids, but you don't want a blackmail. You don't have the courage to tell your wife the truth about the situation. Bloggers are closing in on you. You don't want this to go public... What will you do? 1. Marry the second wife and take full responsibility of your actions by bragging about it on the social media 2. Apologize to your first, train the child but not marry the second wife 3. ? |

PrettyBolu: It's a political matter. England and China moderate the activities of the church. Our government should begin to demand that religion should be involved in the economy. At least the church now encourage members to get involved in politics |

Recently I heard Pastor David Ibiyiome say he's spending over 100 billion naira to build his church. And was wondering what could be the effect of the same money is used to build factories. If salvation ministries could afford to use 100 billion for a church building, it would take only 10 churches to raise 1 trillion naira. 1. Dunamis 2. Living Faith 3. Salvation ministries 4. RCCG 5. Mountain of Fire 6. Catholic 7. Methodist 8. Baptist 9. Lord's chosen 10. Assemblies of God etc The church can actually change Nigeria economy, if they want to. |

MALIGNANTGuest: Yeah How many times has British aspirants for the post of the prime minister come to Nigeria to explain to us why they want to become prime minister? Okay Maybe Tinubu went to talk to Nigerians in the diaspora. But he didn't even promise to allow them to vote in the next election. Maybe he went to secretly raise funds Or maybe because britian has interest in the Nigeria economy. They control a lot of things in the oil sector. Like tompolo said, Britain stole more oil than the local oil bunkers. If the local oil theives steal on barrel of oil. Mobile and shell will steal 20 and say the locals stole 21. So Nigeria is crucial to British economic survival. Nigeria is indirectly still a British colony. And the citizens don't even know 59 Likes 7 Shares |

Politics / Nigeria Vs Qatar by selfemployed(m): 6:08pm On Nov 24, 2022 |
Poverty rate in Qatar is almost 0%, that of Nigeria is 44% Which means Qatar has NO POOR people while almost half of Nigerians are poor. The sad part is, Nigeria is the 14th oil producing nation in the world & Qatar is the 15th [Read this again] Which means we produce more oil than Qatar. Which means all things being equal, we should be good. YET!!!! Yet, Qatar is the 3rd richest nation on earth, and they make the most of their money from oil. I am not angry about this, but i am angry at people who make EXCUSES for Nigeria. People that say: There is an economic downturn in the world so Nigeria is experiencing challenges like other nations? They say this with so much pride, like it makes them patriotic best in how to be a good suffer head. - it reminds me of the story of a Slave who thinks he is better off because his master flogs him once a day, after all the other slaves gets flogged 3x a day. You are getting saddled everyday, getting whipped by politicians that ROB you dry, and you tell people: ‘’Let us be patriotic’’ ‘’...let us praise the new naira’’ ‘’Nigerians criticize the government alot, there is economic downturn everywhere’’ [Yet Qatar poverty rate has not spiked to 44%] Bl00DY sl@ve talk! Nobody is stopping you from being a little lap dog, who sees the beauty in destruction - …but if you shame people for not joining in YOUR DELUSION, you should be quiet and take a seat. P.S: For the ''Nigeria has more population'' crew - Population is the lie they sold you, so you can be fine with BS. The richest nation on earth has a 333.1 Million population, 100 Million more than that of Nigeria. Population is a gift. Compare Nigeria to India [we are similar in many ways] - India has a population of 1 Billion people, yet their poverty rate is 16.4% and ours is 44% [and they don't even have oil like we do] There are more Millionaires in Mumbai [one state in India] than there are millionaires in the whole of Nigeria.
