tplayer:Some of their Directors are beginning to doubt them. One openly said, he is sick of everything. This is borne out of over delay and over postponement. |
tplayer:All of the above shows the unclothedness of TELPECON. |
ENIGMATIC2023:Mind your speech. Don't be quick to talk down on people. lt shows the kind of person that you are. |
Wow! This thread never made it to the front page (if l am right), but almost 60,000 views.TELPECON is gaining popularity by day defrauding people, or do l say, most viewrs make up the defrauded. My only concern is that, many Nigerians never learn. |
comtem2011:I just heard what may sound as positive breaking news. But something tells me it is not TELPECON. Perhaps, loan from a microfinance. I need to confirm it before airing it here. Even the sum is a far cry of what they promised. Please don't quote me, until l confirm it. *Modified* lts April fool jare. |
Today is February 1, no alert yet. Let's wait for another date. Who is with any latest news about these clowns? |
Otobroto:Exactly my point! |
tplayer:lndeed they didn't, but TELPECON keeps saying their money is with CBN. This is to give credit to illegality (deceit). So, they must speak up to clear their name. Meanwhile, has anyone seen alert? One week down, we are about entering the second week. Gospel of lies continues. |
simultaneousboi:All the N500 collected so far, should have been used to pay atleast a group. Even if it's N500k each as initial deposit... Lol. |
sammylaw2007:l pray so too for you. Meanwhile, l hope people are learning lessons from this thread. There is no length people cannot go to scam others. The news is everywhere that payment begins Monday in batches. lf anyone sees alert, please let us here know. This will be the greatest wonder in history. |
lts really sad that government allowed this to linger this far, without calling them to order through EFCC or ICPC. Besides looking fraudulent, raising people's expectations and not fulfilling them may lead to sucide. lts really sad. |
tplayer:Oga, this payment must happen o oo before Christmas. l have just sent land agents to book space for me in the moon. Postponing payment until after second wave of infection is not only laughable but confirmation of the obvious. |
missyge:Any update Ms? |
FarahAideed:Yes ooo. Looks too real to believe. Howbeit, I wish they succeed to curb the excesses of DSTV. |
lt is better to promise what you can achieve and not be like APC that promised to make a Dollar = N1. |
Gbenga Omokhunu, Abuja The Federal Government has declared full backing for activities of an indigenous cable television company, TStv. TStv declared its plan to offer Nigerians affordable subscriptions on a pay-per-view basis starting from October 1 when it re-launches its services. The firm also explained its channels would be offered at between N3 and N5 subscription daily, noting subscribers would also be able to pause their subscriptions temporarily if they are unavailable to watch the programmes. Briefing reporters in Abuja on Tuesday, the Chief Executive Officer of TStv, Mr. Bright Echefu, explained the firm had learned from its past mistakes which forced it out of business for some time. He disclosed the company has acquired the latest transponders, which prevent service interruptions during bad weather, noting that most channels would be in high definition. Echefu further noted his firm had invested in a content acquisition which would give TStv a competitive edge in the Nigerian market, and across Africa. READ ALSO: Pay TV TStv returns Oct. 1 He said: “We have the support of the Federal Government, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) and the Minister of Information and Cultural, Alhaji Lai Mohammed. “We have invested heavily in rights acquisition and acquired five latest transponders which would help us to overcome service disruptions and outage. “Most of our channels would be high definition and they are priced at N3 or N5 per day. “They are being offered a la carte, meaning that the subscriber can simply select the channels he wished to watch instead of buying a bouquet of channels he does not watch”. According to him, the service would be rolled out nationwide from Thursday, when the cost of the decoders and location of vendors would be announced. Echefu said customers have to acquire the new decoders to enable them to enjoy the quality service being offered by TStv, adding that the old decoders could be swapped for a new unit. He said: “The old decoders can be used for two weeks after which the subscribers would have to swap it for a new one”. https://thenationonlineng.net/fg-backs-tstv-offers-pay-per-view-for-n5/amp/ |
TMSMedia:At this point I want to say this; women from South East should watch it, as over time they have gathered so much bad publicity to themselves. I was listening to "Our backyard", on 95.1 fm about 3 weeks ago and Nedu, the presenter lamented on how this has been happening from these women for so long. Many callers blamed inability of some men to control their wives. Howbeit, all tribes are involved and should be condemned with stiffer punishment. |

Picture would have gone a long way. Come and see what is happening at Lagos North East. This same bank treats people like thrash. I went there around 9am on a particular day and left the bank hall 6:55pm. Even at that, I didn't succeed on what I went there for. It's really sad. |
There is no point caging people or waiting for other local airlines. Any airline ready should be allowed to fly. My concern is air fares. Chairman of Air Peace once asked if passengers can pay N70,000? It wasn't a suggestion, but just mentioned it as part of his contribution. on way forward when flights resumed. Air fares will be killing... |

There is no missing persons here. Goi to her work place with police men. Seek permission of her employers and get her to produce your kids. Ensure you engage your lawyer. He will do the necessary legal follow up to keep your kids. You need to teach your so-called wife a lesson not to follow the steps of her mother. When she sees it tough out there, she will abandon her mother and return home to you. For now, the mother has intoxicated her with the doctrine that all men are the same. Her return to you will humble the mother too. By then, you will be in control. For now, you can't change her oooo. Add some amount of prayers for direction from GOD. |

Kayode Oyero The Federal Government says the June 21 date for the restart of domestic flights in the country is not feasible, The PUNCH has learnt . The Minister of Aviation , Hadi Sirika, made this known at a Presidential Task Force Briefing on COVID -19 in Abuja . The PUNCH had earlier reported that the PTF said aviation authorities will determine the resumption of flight operations . PTF coordinator, Sani Aliyu, had on June 1 requested the aviation industry to develop protocols for the resumption of domestic flights anytime from June 21. But Sirika, who was represented by the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority , Capt Musa Nuhu, at the briefing on Thursday, said , “ June 21st is not a feasible date to resume domestic operations . “ The civil aviation authority , despite pressures coming from all quarters, will not approve the start any day until we are sure and we confirm that we are ready to start in a safe , secure, organised and efficient manner . To do otherwise is disastrous for all of us . “ If we open the industry when we are not ready , and we are guilty of spreading coronavirus , God forbid we have any incident, I believe the government will come hard on us and it is going to be counterproductive and disastrous for the industry . “ We are not too far , we are close but there is a need for timing to ensure that we are ready , positively , absolutely ready to start work . ” The NCAA boss said the Authority has been holding talks with airlines, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria , and other stakeholders, adding that feedbacks have been received and concerns are being addressed. He stressed that inputs are also being received from the International Civil Aviation Organisation, the United Nations agency in charge of civil aviation as well as standard and recommended practices for the sector . Nuhu noted that recommendations are also being gotten from the World Health Organisation , the International Air Transport Association , the Airport Council International , and the African Civil Aviation Commission. “ We have to adopt all these , it’ s not easy ; it’ s a very complex process . What I can assure is that , the civil aviation authority will only give a go -ahead when we are ready , nothing further. “ We are looking towards the end of this month. Hopefully , by the end of next week, we will submit a report through the Ministry of Aviation to the Presidential Task Force for review. We know the industry is anxious but to do otherwise will be a great disservice and neglect of our statutory mandate from the government of Nigeria , ” he added . PUNCH Newspaper. |
