First of all its not a good idea to game systems as it could make things difficult for the applicant and also make it harder for future applicants from the same country of origin. If the statement of account shows that the funds came in 12 days before submission and disappears after AOR, the applicants risks outright denial. Recall that the average six months balance is usually also requested. Since they have requested for the SOA , they should just submit with no explanation. If the visa officer requires additional information he/she will ask.

Thanks for the response. Sincerely, there was/is no intention to game the system. We are just worried with the intervals the monies came in. The POf was put in the account by the Siblings. The error we made was not doing deeds in the first instance. Instead money was moved into the mutual benefits account. We are just worried how the reviewer will take it since we didn't state the source of funds initially.

Please I need help and all contributions will be highly appreciated.

A friend received additional document request on the POF submitted and i am clueless on best way to respond. Let me explain what happened.

It's a family of 2. Husband and wide. The POF done was about 17m. They did gift deed for 7m for the wife (who is the PA). Gathered more funds from different sources and put in a mutual funds account. Did attestation to show that the money belongs to both of them.

They submitted the application with wife's SOA showing the transfer of the 7m and the mutual benefit certificate.

Now, they gor a request for SOA of the spouse account. This is where we are confused, we hustled out the balance of 12 in a couple of days and transferred to the husband's account within a space of 1 week. Showing that SOA is risky. Please what other options can we explore. Abeg help, this is important to them

Its not mine but I have been here before to lament so it's only fair to share the news as well.
Sis In Law left on student visa January 2022.
Visiting visa for my brother and daughter was submitted same January 2022 and the wait started.
In August after reading plenty feedback here, I suggested we apply for SOWP for hubby and study permit for the daughter.
Application submitted August 18 and Medicals done upfront as well.
Another wait started up on till yesterday morning, there was still no movement on the application. Towards evening, we noticed movement (as we kuku dey check almost every sec..lol)
Voila...the long awaited arrived same 24th November.
My brother is yet to believe what just happened sef. God proved himself again at the 11th hour.
To those still expecting, please explore all you can..I can't even say specifically how we arrived here. Above all, God made it happen!!!
To those who probably submitted VV before and wondering if to proceed with SOWP....I will advise that you do and leave both applications open.

A big congratulations to you. Did you have to cancel the initial TV application or you just left it running alongside the SOWP.?

I initially applied for a tourist visa on February 19th because of the short processing time as of then. When there was no response, I had to apply for SOWP on July 7th and PPR on August 10th few days after my birthday.

Thank you very much. Will wait for the gcms report. its almost 30days already. Meanwhile, in preparation for plan B, can you please confirm if admission letter from school is required for the child

I would have suggested you wait for the GCMS note before you submit the SOWP this will guide you to know exactly what he went wrong and the real reason for the delay on this application this is to forestall rushing for nothing because if reasons for this delay are not known how are sure the SOWP may not have issues again so after getting the GCMS note if you want to apply for the SOWP good and fine.

Good day everyone, based on learnings from here..we have raised the GCMS form and we are still expecting feedback. However, i am of the opinion that we put the VV application aside and do a fresh application for SOWP for the husband and study permit for the daughter who is 9 years old. Now my concerns again
1. if we open another SOWP application for father and study for daughter (please note that the overdue -over 210days application is VV for father and daughter) is there any negative implication?
2. Can the 2 applications run concurrently and if one turns out good we cancel the other (just my random thoughts out of frustrations)
3. Do we need letter of acceptance from any school for the 9 year old daughter to back up the application
4. Please we need all the advise we can get right now

Since you have raised the GCMS note let's wait for the outcome it between 30-33 days if at the end you didn't get any response again then you will have to ask the Agent what truly is happening because Dec is too late to get no response uptill now , so let's wait for the 33 days to atleast see the reasons for the delay

yes we have...and just raised a GCMS form again early this month and we still await response. An agent did their application for them. I am not sure there is any way i can even help since the agent did everything even from the wife's student visa. If you have any idea please we dont mind oh. It is really getting scary sef

yes oh..my brother's VV application has been since December 2021. It is tiring oh. Everyone is confused on next steps

But have anyone exceeded 151 days without been answered , from what I was told students are answered due to urgency to resume , while most vv are liesure IRCC is taking it's time clearing back logs except VV that has medical emergency, or any other humanitarian condition attached if not you just need to wait for on or before 151 days .
This as the respond someone I know received last week when he reached out to IRCC through the school .
Some countries like India that have VV backlog of 2yrs were cleared 3 weeks ago so I believe the processing time will gradually return to normal

Initially she wanted to go the study route before this option came through. She, hubby and child had done medicals about 2 months ago for the student visa option. Now that she got the worker visa, the other family members need to submit their own visa application but the medicals expire in about 2 weeks from now. Please can they still use the same medicals or they need to do another. Considering that the medicals may expire before the visa feedback is out. Kindly assist

She should go to bank with affidavit, marriage certificate, newspaper publication and change the name first on her bvn, then she ask them to effect changes on her account

Good day everyone, please we need a few clarifications.
My sister will be applying for UK student visa but the account is in her [b]maiden [/b]name while International passport and all other correspondence is in her [b]married [/b]name. I was of the opinion that newspaper publication and affidavit for change of name to cover the fact that same person bears both name should suffice. However, she reached out to me to say the agent from the school in Sunderland says account name must be in her application name(married name) to get visa.
Has anyone experienced this and what did you do? Please advise so we can know next step as i know it takes those banks ages to even change name on account oh (even me sef…..over 1 year that I requested for such in GTB, change of name is yet to reflect on my account)
