Not everybody is gullible. I watched that interview and at no point did he supported Jonathan or anybody for that matter. He clearly said every gov't since 1999 has always protected d interest of only d rich. He demonstrated how police write polite letter of invitation to d rich but pounce on d poor man door commando style. Bottom line is Falana was intentionally misquoted by tanoids

See how u are misleading people with ur post. Perhaps u should go back and watch d video again. Nowhere in that video did Falana criticized President Buhari. Clearly u are among d children of hate, a brother to d chief wailer (Barcanista)

Femi Falana, a famous Lagos lawyer, has criticized President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption strategy.

The Lagos lawyer while speaking on Channels TV programme said that “contrary to the general belief that former President closed his eyes to corruption, President Goodluck Jonathan did so much in the fight against corruption including the sack of three of his ministers for alleged graft.”

Falana added that Jonathan carried out the most positive loot recovery without making noise about it.

It should be noted that during the Jonathan’s tenure, the administration presented the Single Bank account for the country, saving billions.

Their electronic payroll payment system and the Bio-metric registration of federal personnel recognized 68,000 ghost workers and over 50,000 ghost pensioners.

The previous government also introduced the Single Contract Requisition system with a legislative oversight.

The cashless economy was the cause that “Ghana-Must-Go” vanished in the National Assembly and around the corridors of his government.

the era of impunity is over. good. most of dese positions are just glorified money laundering avenues. its only in naija dat u c 5 pple doin d job that is supposed 2 be done by 1 or 2 pple. or a local govt councillor dat has 5 personal assistants, or a bunch of workers at d state or federal ministries doing nothing jst getting free pay day & night. wats the meanin of all dose mindless and excessive spending?

First I think its only wise to probe the last administration, we know money was stolen but worse is the abuse of our institutions. Buhari can not just say return d money when pple have created a system where they will continue to earn till d end of time. Buhari will not be 100% but he's gonna start something that d next gov't after him can build on. If the system is strong, nobody will be spare even after 50yrs.
