Thanks to all members of the Xiaomi house here. After my 2nd consecutive appeal, which frustrated me, My night crawl this morning was successful on UBA. Feeling very happy because i had just few hours left to pay for the Order made on 21st of April and would have lost the $8 coupon i got via aliexpress app. My order has been shipped via Singapore Post. How fast is Singapore post lately?

Like seriously he is saying the fact. Every card supposed to request for OTP(per transaction) or token (same code for every transaction). Yours just still amazed me till today. It's not supposed to work without otp, it exposes u to fraud. If cards don't require otp or token, we even won't be using it because is too much of a risk to use cards without code. Which means, anyone that just see ur card can transfer money from ur account, without u being able to do anything until I contact ur bank. Like i said, ur case of not using otp or token is a mystery, and odas too not using token or otp. Pls, can u post a screenshot of the page u get to that doesn't require token or otp? We need to verify this.

My UBA card did not require me to enter OTP after i appealed the card for my last transaction on aliexpress. But before i appealed I got the option to enter OTP when i bought $10 alipocket

Lol. I initially appealed 2 cards on April 29. On May 4, got a mail that I should provide additional documents. I promptly logged on to AliExpress but I kept getting the message "system busy, try later" as such, I was unable to submit. This went on for days

So I decided to chat their customer service representative up yesterday. I was given an email address (security@aliexpress.com) that I can forward my documents to since the appeal portal was not working.

Interestingly, my tracking ID was provided and I was assured that I should get a response within 24 hours! Got the approval mail today

They asked me to use the cards in 20 minutes but I decided to wait for 24 hours!

Lesson: To speed up the appeal process, chat their customer service representative or/and send a mail to their Risk Control Team.

Charge it to above 60%, update, discharge to 0%, then charge up fully to 100%. Be sure to use stock charger and USB.

Nobody will know that this my redmi 4a was bought at $89... hasn't hanged since i bought it,about 3 weeks now...battery is very good (11hrs SOT).. performance is decent, surpassed my expectations cos i was coming from an htc m8 and expected a massive downgrade in performance,but its all good...
