Hello y'all
If you were a movie director, which Nigerian politician would you make you lead actor?

For me I'll choose Dino Melaye as the lead actor
Back-up actors would be Fayose
Saraki
Oshiomole (special ft)
Buhari (cameo)

Add yours with reasons! You can even give the movie a title

To be fair I can't say much about Morocco though. But from that group, they have to work extra to come through.

My thoughts

I think Russia has the easiest group

I think it's a walkover for Brazil

I think group F can be termed as the "group of death" arguably though.

I think from Africa, only Senegal and Nigeria will qualify from their respective groups.

Overall I think the draws are pretty much fair.

Nigeria has been placed in group D in the forthcoming world cup taking place in Russia.

What are your thoughts? Do you think we can get to the knockout stages this time?
PoliticsMeet The Man Set To Replace Robert Mugabe by Serendip(op): 5:31pm On Nov 21, 2017
A Zimbabwe ruling party official says that recently fired Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa will take over as the country's leader within 48 hours after President Robert Mugabe resigned.

Ruling party chief whip Lovemore Matuke says Mnangagwa, who fled the country after his firing, "is not far from here".

The official spoke to the AP immediately after the Parliament speaker announced Mugabe's immediate resignation during impeachment proceedings.Matuke says they look forward to Mugabe doing the handover of power "so that Mnangagwa moves with speed to work for the country".

SportsNigeria Is African Germany Better Than Senegal, Must Be Avoided -russia Coach by Serendip(op): 12:53pm On Nov 17, 2017
Former coach of USSR, CIS and Russia Anatoliy Byshovets does not want 2018 World Cup hosts Russia to be pitted against Nigeria in next summer's football festival.

Russia as the host country will automatically be seeded in Group A, and there's a possibility that they can be drawn to face Spain, Costa Rica and Nigeria, who are in Pot 2, Pot 3 and Pot 4 respectively, in the group stage.

''The group of death is Russia, Spain, Costa Rica and Nigeria. The past match with Spain can be assessed as a valuable experience, we saw how difficult the game was. But in official meetings the price of error will be higher. That's why I'll choose Spain,'' Byshovts told Sport Express Russia.

''We have a sad experience of meeting with Costa Rica . This team at the last World Cup looked impressive, they were spoilers.

''Senegal is not as well-equipped as, say, Nigeria . With rare exceptions, I do not see any stars that would show themselves brightly,'' Byshovets told Sport Express Russia.

''Nigeria was very bright, looked fearless in the match with Argentina in Krasnodar. The team is well balanced, high average level.

''In my understanding, Nigeria is a kind of African Germany . A good combination of technique and ability to impose a power struggle. ''

Nigeria, who have qualified for their sixth World Cup, have never met Russia at the World Cup.

BRASILIA, Brazil -- Fans of the self-proclaimed "world's worst team" celebrated Monday after their team was eliminated from a football tournament in Brazil.

Ibis lost 3-2 on aggregate to Decisao in the second division of the Pernambuco state championship, blocking what could have been the team's first promotion in decades.

Fans rallied over the past two months to keep the club's losing traditions. And on Sunday, fans celebrated after a 2-0 first-leg victory was squandered at Decisao in a 3-0 loss.

Ibis had a victory drought of nearly four years in the 1980s, with 11 consecutive losses, earning the club the nickname.

This year, Ibis won five matches, drew three and lost two. But the club's run ended on Sunday.

Next year, the club will have its 80th anniversary and players were expecting to take it to Pernambuco state's top division in celebration.

Mauro Shampoo, who calls himself the club's worst ever player, said he now expects to get his Ibis decorated bicycle back from fans that supposedly stole it in protest against the winning streak.
