I wonder how people are always attacking the presidency and no one talks so much about the people you can easily hold accountable. Revolution should start from these houses of retired thugs and rogues. |
energywatchng:Absolutely. We shall not lose hope on Naija. |
Power generation seems to be the best news so far this year. May it continue to improve after several years of waste and theft |
Awesome man of God. |
I laugh in pidgin ![]() One of our major problems is POLITICS WITH NO IDEOLOGY. All or most of our parties or major oppositions have always been parties of DISGRUNTLED SOULS. This will never take us anywhere. Which way naija? |

Crooks investigating thieves hmm.. |
Nigeria, let's re-examine ourselves. If you've been to South Africa, you'll begin to rethink that self-acclaimed title as the GIANT OF AFRICA. Let's develop our land, hold our government accountable and stop claiming this sense of entitlement in other people's land. We are very quick to cry wolf..everybody hates us but we have refused to embark on some thorough introspection. Let's change our ways. Peace ![]() |

Well whether same day or separated days, always remember that there is life after the ceremony. That's when the real marriage starts and you need all the resources you can to make things work all together. Peace ![]()

Get well soon |
Apparently from the pictures the turn-out and excitement was huge in 2009. However, people are really turning out for the 45th president's inauguration. Well in life, you're loved and accepted by some, rejected by some..but don't stop, keep going..

The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra has raised the alarm over alleged plots by the security agencies to clamp down on its members and other Igbo youths who visit beer parlours at night. The leader of MASSOB, Chief Solomon Chukwu, said this in a statement read on his behalf by the National Director of Information of the group, Sunday Okereafor, at a press conference in Owerri, affirmed that the group gathered that the security agencies were out to arrest the youths at relaxation joints and label them armed robbers and kidnappers just to intimidate and make them renounce their agitation. Okereafor warned youths in the zone to stay away from drinking joints after 7 pm to avoid cheaply given themselves away to security agents. On the recent allegation by the Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, in Owerri that members of the group, who were massacred in Anambra State, were heavily armed, the MASSOB spokesperson said, “The army lied, they know we have remained non-violent since our struggle. “They attacked us at Okwe in Onuimo Local Government Area of Imo State in 2000 and killed 800 of our members at Oyi Local Government in Anambra state; they dumped the corpse of our members in a shallow river. We never attacked them, they know those who carry arms, we are non violent people despite the provocation.” Okereafor also warned Igbo leaders under the auspices of the Southeast Council of Traditional Rulers, who recently paid a visit to President Buhari, denying the existence of Biafra to stop speaking on behalf of Ndigbo, claiming that they were selfish and only interested in enriching themselves. http://punchng.com/avoid-beer-parlours-massob-warns-igbo-youths/ |
A 42-year-old clearing agent, Daniel Unegbu, has been arrested in connection with 83.4 kilogrammes of drug that tested positive for ephedrine at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos State. Unegbu was apprehended with two other suspects –Joseph Ettah, 28, and Bright Wopara, 31 – by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the airport. PUNCH Metro learnt that the drug, estimated at N4bn, was uncovered in artificial hair usually worn by females. Our correspondent learnt that the drug, which was said to be the largest quantity of ephedrine seized at the MMIA so far, was to be exported to South Africa. A bag of heroin smuggled from Nairobi, Kenya, and cannabis billed for trafficking to London, were also said to have been abandoned at the airport. The NDLEA Commander at the MMIA, Ahmadu Garba, said a preliminary investigation showed that Unegbu helped the traffickers to conceal the drug. He said, “Officials of the NDLEA at the departure hall detected a bag and during the search, it was found to contain substances that tested positive for ephedrine, with a total weight of 83.390kg. So far, three suspects apprehended are being interrogated to determine their level of culpability. The parcels of ephedrine were concealed in artificial hair. “A preliminary investigation revealed that Unegbu, who works as a clearing agent, collected the luggage from his client and took it to the airport. Ettah and Wopara are the two luggage handlers who worked with him.” The NDLEA Chairman, Col. Muhammad Abdallah (retd.), said the agency had intensified narcotic screening at the airport to frustrate the different tricks employed by drug traffickers. “This end of the year counter-narcotic smuggling strategy had prevented attempt by a suspected drug trafficking syndicate to export 83.390kg of ephedrine hidden in female hair attachment to South Africa. “Ephedrine is a precursor ingredient used in the production of methamphetamine. The estimated street value of the drug is about N4bn. NDLEA will continue to resist attempt by criminal syndicates to compromise security through strict law enforcement practice. “Anti-narcotic agents have been placed on the alert and will remain vigilant to detect any act of sabotage. The case is under investigation and anyone found wanting shall be prosecuted in line with the NDLEA Act,” Abdallah said. http://punchng.com/clearing-agent-arrested-hiding-n4bn-drug-hair/ |

A South African cleric, Prophet Rufus Phala has made his church members drink disinfectant, Dettol, in order to get healed.. Phala, a pastor with AK Spiritual Christian Church, Makgodu, Limpopo in the north eastern area of South Africa, instructed his followers to drink the disinfectant, while also acknowledging that it was dangerous to do so. “I know Dettol is harmful, but God instructed me to use it. I was the first one to drink it,” the pastor said in a video sighted by South Africa’s Daily Sun. He also claimed he has been getting WhatsApp messages from people who say they have been healed by obeying his command of drinking the disinfectant. Dettol is the trade name for a line of hygiene products manufactured by Reckitt Benckiser. While the liquid antiseptic may be harmless when mixed with bath water or when cleaning a wound it is known to be dangerous for internal use. According to “Dettol poisoning and the need for airway intervention”, an article published in the Hong Kong Medical Journal, Dettol poisoning has been reported to result in serious complications including death. Phala’s case is coming only few weeks after one Prophet Lethebo Rabalago sprayed his congregation with Doom, a popular brand of insecticide in the country. In 2014, Pastor Lesego Daniel of Rabboni Centre Ministries, Garankuwa, north of Pretoria was also reported to have commanded his followers to eat grass in order to get closer to God. http://punchng.com/pastor-makes-church-members-drink-dettol-healing/ Let us not be deceived and destroyed for lack of knowledge! cc lalasticlala

BREAKING: Ghana President Mahama concedes defeat First it was the Gambian president, now the Ghanaian President. Has Jonathan started something so fundamental? Ghana’s President John Mahama called opposition Nana Akufo-Addo on Friday to concede defeat and congratulate him on victory in the country’s hotly contested election, a party official said. “Yes he has conceded defeat,” George Lawson of Mahama’s New Democratic Congress (NDC) party told AFP, after Wednesday’s nail-biting poll, seen as a test for a country generally viewed as a beacon of stability. http://punchng.com/breaking-ghana-president-mahama-concedes-defeat/ cc Lalasticlala |

Jenny1010:In two sentences describe yourself..then we see how smart and eligible you are ![]() |
1. The Bitter Woman: You know that woman that always seems to be angry at the menfolk all the time? Perhaps she has had her heart broken one too many times, but this woman is always bashing on men and talking about how they are no-good or useless. A man might not want to settle down with someone so bitter as it is guaranteed that when the opportunity arises, she would hurl hurtful insults and intense, hateful words his way due to all her unresolved anger. 2. The Selfish Woman: If you want a happy home and a partner that wants your happiness as well as hers, then you should steer clear of the selfish woman. A woman who is determined to make sure she always comes first would not be able to build a cheerful and loving home with you. 3. The Materialistic Woman: A woman obsessed with material things would certainly not make the best wife. If all she cares about are material possession over family, faith and spiritual fulfillment, then she will not make the best partner. 4. The Flirty Woman: Are you attracted to that woman that always seems to flirt with one person or another? She flirts like a butterfly from one man to another and makes all men feel like she is interested in them. Well, beware, because a habit like that might be hard to break after marriage and you would not want to start hearing that your wife has had flirty conversations with all the men in the neighbourhood. 5. The Party Freak: She is invited to every party and attends them all. She is always dressed in the most flashy clothes and is the ultimate party girl. She lives for the next big gathering and cannot say no to an invitation. Such woman might not be the type to settle down in a marriage. 6. The Spoilt-Brat: A woman who grew up having everything handed to her and has never had the experience of actually working for something is unlikely to make the best wife. No matter how much you might be willing to provide her with the kind of lifestyle she grew up with, remember, marriage comes with kids and kids require sacrifice. If she has never had to work or make sacrifices for anything in her life, it is unlikely that she would start now. 7. The Attention Seeker: While some women naturally like attention, when it becomes an obsession, then it is not a good idea. A good husband makes sure he has time for his wife, but this cannot happen 100percent of the time so a good wife should understand that. 8. The Gossip: Does she always seem to never mind her own business? Is she always focused on what someone else is doing or how someone else is living their life? Then you do not need this kind of woman as a wife. A man needs someone that would build a home with him and this requires some focus on her own plans and her own life. If she is too busy minding someone else’s business, then you are fighting a losing battle. 9. The Commitment-Phobe: A woman who finds it difficult to commit to anything (school, jobs, family, friendship, etc) would also not be able to commit to a marriage. If she seems to lose interest in everything quickly and is always looking for the next thing to jump into, then you would have a hard time keeping her focused in her marriage. 10. The Disrespectful Woman: If she seems to always be disrespectful and rude (even if it is to people she considers beneath her standards) then you need to think twice about marrying her. Respect for a fellow human being is a very important attribute in who we choose to spend the rest of our lives with so it is definitely not something that should be taken lightly. source:http://celebsgist.com/10-types-of-women-you-should-never-marry/11/ |

Wll the imagination of the common Nigerian now is having good food...being rescued from starvation. Nigeria is in a very sorry state right now.. Naira is hopelessly drowning every day since last month...very unprecedented. Are we now severely bereft of economists in Nigeria? We need honest leaders urgently. Or part of the economic strategy is to starve the masses to death?? A roman emperor once brought peace to an island by killing all the inhabitants.. Is that the approach this government is covertly embarking on?? |
