The judiciary has been the bastion of corruption for a long time, the safe haven for corrupt politicians. Since Kastina Alu became CJN the judiciary has gone to the dogs. A judge has over a million US dollars in his house yet the court threw out the case for lack of evidence. Well the real solution to Nigeria's corruption problem is a violent revolution.
The Judiciary has now joined the executive and the legislature in protecting " their own". How much is the judges salaray what business is he engaged in that he made a million dollars from it. It is only in Banana Republic Nigeria that a judge standing trail for corruption will return back to the bench to dispense "justice". Judges own several houses in Maitama, Asokoro, Wuse2. You need to read more. Have you read the power sector reform act 2005? Was Jonathan in power then? You need to go to NERCs website and download all the MYTO and read. You also need to read Power purchase agreements between these Gencos and NBET. Also read the gas supply agreement (GSA) and gas transportation service agreement (GTSA) between the Gencos and the gas companies. After you must have read all these, then you can quote me so that we can discuss. Stop arguing blindly.

You also need to read books on how business decisions are taken. The truth is that Obasanjo started the privatisation process, Yaradua halted it and Jonathan completed it.
51% stake in Egbin was paid for during obasanjo's regime. So Egbin was sold then what was remaining was handing over modalities. Jonathan came in and raised the stake to 70% and completed the process.

Since when did Nigerian politicians start investing in toxic assets or any investment at all. They only invest when it is a bazaar or abroad. You claim foreign investors were not interested yet local politicians were jostling for it as if their lives depended on it. Again Jonathan was nothing but a disaster that has already happened. Those risks are what's manifesting today in form of regulatory issues, liquidity issues and finance issues.

When Obasanjo did the telecoms mobile licence they went shopping for the best, eventually Econet, a company with track record in telecoms busness in Botswana, MTN a teleco gaint in South Africa, plus NITEL got the initial licences, within months they rolled out. There's no doubt that the process was a success, except for the wholly Nigerian owned NITEL that never took off . The others were a success story.
