For the first time in the history of beauty pageants, no winner was announced, no Queen was crowned after cat walking with all manner of sexy attires and hot bikinis(Almost naked clothing), All the girls who participated in this contest were disqualified because most of them couldn't answer the simple questions thrown to them. Though they were all so beautiful, Majority of the girls answered the questions by blatantly saying "I don't know" or "no idea"

During the native attire section when they were asked the creativity of what they were putting on, one of them said she was putting on purewater cloth while another said she was putting on cat cloth because 'Pussycat' is her best pet. Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah who was a special guest of honour could not help his mind but to Blast the girls and said no of them is worhy to be declared winner of the Nnewi beauty peageant.
The show was postponed to December 2017. SHAMEFUL indeed! U see them walk about with absolute NOTHING in their heads.

This is absolute nonsense, am into academics and i can authoritatively reveal that this girl was denied admission for no just cause. here are the questions to answer.
1. How many people scored 320 and above who applied for medicine in OAU?
2. how many who had such mark also have a good o level result.?
The provost should rather show us the comprehensive list of students admitted to study medicine with their scores and o'level. This is absolute thrash, the poor girl was simply denied admission. He is telling the public stories.....

Fools Be wise

PERMIT me to use this opportunity to draw the attention of the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, to the case of 12 soldiers sentenced to death last year for mutiny.

Much have been said about why the soldiers should be spared, especially with the fact that they were protesting the non-availabililty of weapons to prosecute the war. I can even say that it was part of their complaints that made the government procure modern weaponry which now swayed the battle in favour of Nigeria’s military.

Before the protest, Boko Haram terrorists were just killing the soldiers at will. It got so bad that our soldiers, on several occasions, had to run to neighbouring countries of Cameroon and Niger to escape being killed.

During this period, the terrorists had even begun to carve out a caliphate for themselves.

I believe the soldiers’ protests went a long way in making the government and military authorities see why modern warfare equipment should be procured to prosecute the war.

I, therefore, want to plead with General Buhari to pardon these convicted soldiers because their protests were justified, going by the manner in which they were being killed then.
