There are some few things that aren't synonymous with champions league final...most of u who have been following this game for long can bear me witness ..once your opponent scores u in the 86th minute...that is the end ...u are not coming back...u will need serious miracle to come back...Barca scored in the 86th minute and conversed in the 92nd minutes...what kind of team is that Good football and potent attack alone doesn't with you the champions league.at a point all inter needed to do was just get the ball into barcas 18 yard and they will score or almost score... How many times did I see inter winning the second ball ..this Barca team is not just a physical side and it's one of the reasons the lost...inter look to always win either the duel or second ball...that's a totally shambolic defending tonight and they can only have themselves to blame Flick to me got the team wrong...pedri and de jong are both important to how u want your team to play but both don't have that leg and physicality to defend against that physically imposing inter midfield ...why not find a solution. Ok....u understand he talks too much...but what percentage of what he says is wrong....he called out the FG for neglecting people in plateau ...he called out the leadership for not doing their job ..is it a new thing that Nigeria. Arsenal plays with good intensity....tenacity and power but they are quite predictable...get the ball from behind ...move it very fast to saka with odegaard marauding close to him to create a 2v2 situation...if that doesn't work....move it quickly to the other side to Martinelli who on the norm should have some good space with a 1v1 situation ...although they are predictable but they are still very hard to stop when then play their style...but on a day when they are properly worked against ..they hit the wall I still have a strong believe in them going to Paris but they are at disadvantage ...cos they cant go to Paris and open up the game..PSG has a better quality on the ball and one break could lead to a goal ..even today at their home they had to sit with 10 men each time psg had the ball...u can't take any chance against them at home ..so definitely you wont dare do so in Paris ..again they won't be having that massive home crowd pushing them in Paris ..but we will see anyway 8 Likes |

shegoon:You are very right....I think it is a philosophy Maresca brought into the team..but the reality is ...Chelsea tend to switch ball back to the center backs each time they win the ball more often than not. This gives them the opportunity to get back into position and go again as the team plays positional football...the dimerit is they starve them sef the opportunity to go on and cause havoc ..they tend to take little risk in possession...now it's normal for a possession based team to play this way ..but if u look at this Chelsea team well ,you will understand they play like this more with the fear of loosing the ball...and not really because they enjoy it Talking about the counter play .this is still a problem....I can count the number of times cheslea gets a 3v3 ...4v4 on the break and all they do is reset the game ..when then can just go on (like Manchester united does most times)...another thing is they don't really have players who are ball drivers with power and pace. .I think the team will cos more destruction if the go at teams more like they were doing at a point at the start of the season ..but they also risk loosing the ball and getting punish from cut backs |

Many things Chelsea need to solve this season ...one of them is getting good ball passers into the team...looking at that team from top to bottom...I can't really find a player that will give 5 successful through balls in 5 attempt... Not palmer...not Enzo...good ball passers time there pass well and this guyz don't just know how to do it well enough 1 Like |

I have said it many times and I will say it again...united need to change there playing philosophy...I don't know each time they have a new coach they give them a blue print of how they play or they just don't seem to get out of the problem...united is poor playing a progressive football ..and all Newcastle had to do after that first goal was press them hard...trying to play robust football against Newcastle is foolishness...sometimes u just need to be in charge ...play slowly and peg your opponent . For the upteenth time .. transition football won't give u results consistently...even their only goal today was from a quick transition ... And that's why united seem to do well against big sides...cos this sides are possession driven and united prefer playing the under dog waiting for that mistake in midfield then pounce ...after that sit back again then wait for another opportunity...this style works well when u won't have more possession but against side that will give them respect united will always struggle.... If at this stage united still can't play well from behind ...then what do they do in training Another is for this cos they don't have a natural holding midfielder that can sit and dictate City have rodri and kovavic Arsenal have partey Newcastle have tonali Chelsea have Enzo Liverpool have Mac allister United don't have a natural holding midfielder ...all what they have is a DM and box to box 2 Likes |

I am not a united fan but I will be sincere for ones....I know Amorim is just coming in and we can't be hard on him but u fans need to start been sincere with yourself...and ask yourself a question "What playing philosophy is Amorin displaying at united.... He is playing a 3-4-3 that is giving room for a 5 defenders off the ball but this team still gets opened with passes...in attack they look blunt and today it was just about playing the ball to Amad the. "insha Allah" ...now what kind of "Awusubillahi" football is that fams??...we know epl is hard and u can loose but atleast make your ur team play...make your team good to watch... I know some of your will say this team is bad and the players are rubbish...you can likewise say Amorin needs his kinda player...but let's be sincere...they won't overhaul this team for him ...I can still tell u half of this squad will be playing next season...so he has to make it work ..let's see your team dominate lower sides...you can't even dominate Brighton with your style of football .. Once again u can loose ...but let's see u are grinding this team...let's see u get into there heads ...let's see them play front foot football...cos u can say what u like uniteds strength is still scavenging possession....pouncing on cutbacks...getting transition chances..and counter attacks ...and that's why they always look good against top sides ...cos this sides go on front foot why united only wait for their chance and Pounce on it ..now when they play lower side and they need to dominate they struggle cos they just don't know how to be a dominant side...and it's not just the players ..Amorim need to do more...this is not Portuguese league...EPL is no jokes...u will be beaten again and again of u don't give 100% 5 Likes 1 Share |

Arsenal fans need to find a way to meet arteta and give him a resounding slap each ..when u play a team that sits back and u find it hard to unlock them .the normal thing most coach does is to bring in another striker and get good balls into the box with 2 pointmen...but arteta had no one to bring in, .again he had no back up for Saka...he has been using the poor boy like a slave for like 4 seasons straight up...and to worsen it all he could get was a old sterling that has been done with...today it was not just about how much chance they will crate but about who actually is going to get the a goal ...cos Havertz was rubbish.. ..while all his mate were signing players last summer ..he was busy playing ...now the team seem to have been over stretched ...they seem not to be progressing anymore cos he done use hem Taya...to a point they even had to start playing pragmatic football sometimes this season....Arsenal fans make una weldone o 12 Likes |

Maresca has been found out and not just in one way ..in many ways...I won't agree to fatigue playing a role...everything Chelsea does just seem not to work and that's cos the opponent coaches have done a good work on it just how to stop the team but how to hurt them Today is just the reality...maresca is not making things look good either IT IS TIME TO START GIVING TEAMS SOME RESPECT. ..We are down and we need to pick gradually ...that ope. Expansive football seem to have hit the wall The midfield has lesser legs out of possession...and the culprit is Enzo ..I don't know how maresca sees in but lavia is a better baller in that region...all Enzo does is the basics ...even as a number 8 he carries low threat...off the ball he is weak in winning duels ... Personally I thing this is the last time DISASI should start any game as a right back ..so bland and he is full of errors... I believe Chelsea is in their bad stage which every team will have at a point ... But it's up the the coach to shake things up .. Where was that sweet possession football we were playing in the last 3 months ..we use to starve teams ball and tear them down ...where was it all in the last 3 matches ...we no longer stretch the game .. Why must palmer always play from the right...at a point the connection of him with madueke was almost unstoppable...many team has been changed ...players been played out of position ..today Felix and nkunku came in and one would have thought that was wat we need..."new legs" but it was obvious it wasn't...we just weren't doing what we were doing well enough anymore and we looked predictable....both the defensive intensity and the attacking flair seem to be gone... This loss was very needed ...as a matter of fact... Chelsea should have lost against Everton...Everton deserved a point in that game if not for Sanchez saves Today is the worse outing I have seen from Chelsea ...even bigger teams don't look this better against them ..Fulham was playing through our press with ease and we could f stop them ...our midfield was so porous and caicedo had too much to do In my perception...Chelsea is in trouble...teams will have more confidence playing them...personally I feel Enzo maresca still has to drug some level of stubborness Enzo has no business playing in that midfield today...lavia would have been a better option...I can't even count the number if times fullham was waltzing past him....today the midfield didn't have enough presence ... And this idea of playing palmer as a 8 in the pocket from the left is rubbish...the boy thrives more as a no 8 from the right as he is right footed I can't blame Sancho ..he isn't a burstful winger and thrives more with a fluid attack ..today we had no other first team right winger even incase we want to sub in...mudryk is still out Jackson was rubbish today but that's not the issue...the issue is why maresca prefers ukunku ..a false 9.. a player that doesn't press and lacks physicality ahead of Marc Gui a proper striker who is physical and can fight Today all the long balls were just a waste cos we don't have that presence upfront to won them Maresca has a lot to do and one of them is giving some other people chance from the bench 3 Likes |

allen113:...You nailed it but can we really blame maresca...today Sancho and Neto were kept quite cos they had no one running behind them ...and no won deflecting a defender from them so this means they had atleast 2 players covering them....Everton was good but the system today made it easier for them to plan defensively against Chelsea.neto had little to do cos he had no help..disasi isn't good going forward and had to stay back...if cucurella won't be playing the maresca needs to find another solution ... especially against teams that loves to sit deep 3 Likes |

I think maresca made the right call bringing in madueke to stretch the game ...but I disagree with nkunku inclusion ....he won't fair well among those big guyz....and he wasn't pressing.....we missed cucurella though and I feel today Romeo lavia would have worked well than Enzo....the Everton team blocked every passing lanes and we could have done better with a midfielder than could break the line physically on the half turn....all in all it wasn't bad getting a point from a coach that plays pragmatic football against top sides Not every team will be compact like Everton today...we move!!! 2 Likes |
