For some reasons, I don’t consider Pep as an exceptional coach like the media portrayed. Any manager to have coached City since the Arab owner took over had always won the EPL. Mancini did, Pellegrini did, unluckily they had just three years each. It took Pep 7yrs to win it with City, it’s possible both previous managers would had done it if they were given same number of luxury years create, dynamite and recreate a stronger team.

The two previous managers built City and left a strong City side with the likes of Toure Yaya, Vincent Kompany, Aguero etc, so it’s safe to say Pep inherited a strong city side and built on it.

Pep is a great coach no doubt but certainly not a tactical genius as the likes of Klopp’s Liverpool, Mourinho’s Chelsea of 2004, and Ferguson’s UTD that created a mountain out of a molehill. For the past 7yrs at City he spent over a billion euros, no manager has spent such in a single spell in a team, so winning the UCL is the barest minimum.

Congratulations to City, and it’s safe to say the EPL is the new farmers league, the reason also is not because of Pep’s brilliance, it’s because football has died not only in England but the entire Europe and we have so many players with no passion but just for the weekly wages. The generation of Ferdinand, Vidic, Terry, Sketel, Puyol, Abidal, Evra, Cole, Henry, Kaka, Lampard, David Villa, Kompany, Chellini etc was the last generation of talent based and passion oriented football.

It's united lucky day...city today wasn't really in that mojo and they even lost many chances that they would have buried easily on their day...they looked tired too.for example Debruyne ...Gundogan...Rodri were already tired before 65minutes....a weakness united could have capitalized

Pep keeps evolving in football and looking at his line up u would see he has tried to change so many things...he now plays with a back 3 with another ball playing center back in front of them partnering a holding midfielder...this in turns makes his team a little more solid...gone are the days wen Rashford would run and team city ..they have walker tucking in to prevent that ..again gone are the days wen u will feel u can win aerial balls to get possession ...city now has 4 players behind the ball to take care of that..

The most positive thing is...the change in a way doest make them as fluid has they are on default but they still keep the ball and play good football...they hold on to the ball sometimes for u to commit people to press ..wen u commit they release that ball and knock it into the midfield where u must have left a space due to ur high press...

The champions league final will be another game where guadiola will need to show to the people he is actual on another level

This is the lowest performance have seen from city in weeks ...united will need to come out better in the second half cos they might be playing a different animal in city in the second half

...My humble opinion...there are many ways to success in football...cos. Mourinho seem to take the pragmatic route which has gotten him result doesn't mean he isn't good. ..and coaches like him are reasons why other offensive coaches have sleepless nights ...bit my humble take is ...we have see coaches okay good football and still win... personally i think it takes more tactically to stand toe to toe with other elite teams rather than putting 10 players behind the ball and drilling them in training in set piece covering every space and using every loose to ball as an attacking outlet ...See i love Mourinho...and he is still one of the reasons we love soccer...but my kinda person how i see football is been on the front foot all the time ..that's why I will pick pep ahead...we have seen many teams pack the bus against pep still defeated them...Jose always have players he drills offensively and he gets into there head to give him the goal...But who still plays this pragmatic and dogmatic football again in Europe ..name one coach in the too sides...almost non...

The truth is football is evolving and many things are changing but can Mourinho change?...No he can't ..he is a very proud coach and will rather defend all day...it has gotten him a lot of result but can it get him that number in the modern day era ..i doubt...

I Know many united fans a pained and this are results u really hate having at the moment but let's just be sincere...Brighton is now a very good team...even the semi final i could remember ...united had to defend against them for most of the game time .. united in the last few match have lacked that ruthlessness they use to have at a point...this means they can't really open up against some quality sides anymore and believe me wen we talk of a quality side in EPL as we speak Brighton is one...the way they interchange passes the way they carve u out with there movement ...how strong there attacked are in possession is something any team could struggle with...most of there attackers could play in some of the big teams first 11...the only thing to beat them is been strong on possession and limiting them on the ball .. unfortunately this united under 10 hag isn't that kind of team...the only team that could destroy they with there game play is city...

Have seen some people saying Haalands all round play is poor .and i wonder the haaland they ave been watching...he isn't a Ronaldo or a Lewandowski but believe me Haaland is very good with the ball at his feet...so many times i see city break on counter and him running with the ball and dribbling ..u can't even compare him to osimhen cos victor is very poor in possession and this guy score sweet goals with both feet ...head and just name is...although he doesn't score mostly out of the box but city have enough players to do that his business is close to the goal and he will keep scoring so far he is fit...he is by far the best striker in the world for now

Looking at it tactically...i think arsenal can pull a surprise and unsettle city with there fast attack...they have the threats upfront but that won't be enough tonight...to be the champions u must have an antidote for that same poison u serve people ....there last 3 matches has shown they don't have anything close to having that....tonight Xaka must play i didn't see him the last match but tonight he must play even if he needs to be rushed in from injury.. patey will shield the defence but they need someone on kelvin Debruyne....most of the good things that happens in that attack starts from kelvin...he doesn't misplace passes picks Halland out every time....they need a player to roughe and unsettle him a little same way Chelsea places Kante on him in the 2021camp league final ...that player is Xaka...Viera offers some other things but he doesn't have that engine and defensive leg like Granit Xaka....if Xaka won't be fit enough then it will be too dangerous for Arteta to open the game against city...city will kill and take the game away from them in 60mins...the do that so well...

Well, it's easy to criticize when one is just a viewer, Na them know wetin them dey face

HALLAND loves staying in the box but he offers more...u will see him drifting into places u will rarely see osimhen and running at people...

I won't be watching the match...am sorry it will be a waste of time...i saw the line up and it's a 3-5-1-1...which reasonable team plays such formation at home...Lampard after the first 'eg complained about intensity and the players physicality not enough...and it was obvious...the first minute in Spain Chelsea never won a duel...against a midfield of 30 year olds ...they lost possession at will and we're erratic in possession... they couldn't keep up with madrids intensity
