As they are planning, we are also planning not allow them to play any old tricks. President-general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, John Nwodo, has advised Igbos to forget about Biafra and push for restructuring. Nwodo stated this on Thursday while speaking at the 3rd inauguration of the state and local government executives of the Abia state chapter of Ohanaeze Ndigbo. He said the realisation of Biafra was a “tall order”, which would not be in the overall interest of the Igbo in their socio-economic and political relationships with other Nigerians. “We should forget Biafra and insist on restructuring. We must seek for peaceful ways of resolving the issues,” Nwodo said. Nwodo also urged members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to tone down their words, as hate speeches would not resolve any problem. He said the proscription of the activities of IPOB by the South-East governors prevented bloodshed. As the NFL kicks off its 2017-2018 season with controversy, T-Pain’s new football-inspired single doesn’t shy away from any of it. The head-knocking track, which features Blac Youngsta, finds Teddy P. rhyming about hitting the goldmine with his shawty, while making references to the president. “I’ll push that weight like I’m weight training,” he raps. “I’ll pull my trump card, I’ma run the whole U.S.A., ain’t I?” Following T-Pain’s verse and chorus, Youngsta shows up with some rhymes about lean and bedroom affairs. “I bleeped that bitch anyway,” he raps. “I don’t love my bitch anyway / I be like, ‘Bitch, get out my face’ / Lil’ bitch always be in the way.” Click Here to Download - MP3: T-Pain – Goal Line ft. Facebook has its own version of Apple’s Face ID. If you get locked out of your Facebook account, the company is testing a way to regain access by using your face to verify your identity. That could be especially useful if you’re somewhere that you can’t receive two-factor authentication SMS, like on a plane or while travelling abroad, or if you lose access to your email account. Social media researcher Devesh Logendran (a pseudonym) sent a screenshot of the feature to TNW’s Matt Navarra. We asked Facebook about it and got this confirmation: “We are testing a new feature for people who want to quickly and easily verify account ownership during the account recovery process. This optional feature is available only on devices you’ve already used to log in. It is another step, alongside two-factor authentication via SMS, that were taking to make sure account owners can confirm their identity.” If the feature proves reliably helpful to users and isn’t fooled by hackers, Facebook could potentially roll it out to more people. Over the years Facebook has tried a number of novel ways to help you get back into a locked account. In some cases it asks you to identify photos of your friends to prove you’re you. Or it’s tried allowing you to designate several “trusted friends” who receive a code that you can ask them for to unlock your account. While Facebook has experienced some backlash to facial recognition for photo tag suggestions in the past, this feature would only use the technology to privately help you out. Therefore it shouldn’t engender as big of privacy concerns, though obviously anything related to biometric data can give people pause. But if it means you can get back to your messages and News Feed, or repair damage done by a hacker, many people are likely to be comfortable to use their face to Facebook. The conspiracy theorist who initially predicted the world would end on September 23 has reset Doomsday to 15 October. According to a report by Newsweek, David Meade, a self-proclaimed “researcher”, numerologist and Catholic, believes the end of the world as we know it, as foretold in the biblical Book of Revelation, will take place next month. He said the 23rd was simply a sign of the oncoming of the disaster. Meade on his website clarified his belief that the 23rd is the date of a “historical event” in the skies that would signal the oncoming rapture. Doomsday itself, he says, will begin on October 15. That date marks the beginning of a seven-year period of tribulation. “That’s when the action starts. Hold on and watch—wait until the middle of October and I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed,” he writes. Some things to watch out for are the loss of electrical power across the world, leading to war, famine and other perilous events. To be clear, Meade says, “Nothing is expected to happen in September.” Meade points to the total eclipse on August 21 as a significant event which he believes acts as a precursor to the beginning of the rapture. He says the date marks a 40-day countdown to the beginning of October. “October is the month to watch.” So, why was the 23rd of such significance? As Meade told the Washington Post last week, he deduced that Saturday would mark an important event that would act as a sign for the oncoming rapture. His prediction was based on analysis of verses and numerical clues in the bible. Read Also: Bayelsa SSG steps aside as Governor appoints him BDIC Chair “Jesus lived for 33 years. The name Elohim, which is the name of God to the Jews, was mentioned 33 times [in the bible],” Meade said. “It’s a very biblically significant, numerologically significant number.” Saturday marked 33 days since the solar eclipse. Meade subscribes to the conspiracy that a 10th planet, Planet X or Nibiru, will either cross or collide with Earth, leading to a seven-year period of tribulation, or rapture. This will be followed by a millennium of peace. NASA has repeatedly denied the existence of any such planet, including as recently as September 20. “Various people are “predicting” that world will end Sept. 23 when another planet collides with Earth. The planet in question, Nibiru, doesn’t exist, so there will be no collision.” See More via https://admalic.com.ng/omg-world-will-come-end-15-october-doomsday-prophet-must-read/ |
According to a Coalition of Civil Society Organizations for Transparency and Good Governance, the agitation led by Nnamdi Kanu and Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) will be worse than Boko Haram’s if not urgently tackled. Speaking at a press conference on Monday, the National Coordinator of the Coalition, Patriot Sabo Ode likened Nnamdi Kanu to Abubakar Shekau, head of the Boko Haram group. He also recalled that Kanu had declared ‘Biafra Republic’ same as Shekau declared an Islamic Caliphate; Kanu called Nigerians animals while Shekau called them infidels. Both men promised to deliver the heads of Nigerian Presidents to their declared enclaves; IPOB and Boko Haram adopted flags other than the green-white-green; they formed cabinets; they radicalised youths, they called for attacks on Nigeria and Nigerians; they both declared the Nigerian military as their enemy. Do you agree with him? See - https://admalic.com.ng/similarities-between-ipob-and-boko-haram/ |

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has given reasons on its decision to allow over 85,000 candidates, whose 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations, UTME, results were earlier cancelled, to rewrite was because of its new principles of equality and inclusiveness. But the board said the examination was for only candidates who registered late and those with related issues. To this end, it warned the candidates with the privileged opportunity to resit the examination slated for Saturday to behave themselves while participating in the examination, warning that like the previous one, it would enhance its monitoring of the examination and not compromise its sanctity. In a statement to this effect, released to the media by its Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, JAMB said the examination, which 85,000 candidates would be writing on Saturday, would be spread across some Computer Based Testing, CBT, centres. The state further explained that the rescheduled examination was a product of an enlarged management meeting of JAMB. "Many of the candidates rescheduled for this examination enjoy this privilege because of the board's principles of equality and inclusiveness. It is better to let 100 offenders go free than to punish one innocent person," it said. The board said the affected candidates have since been informed through text messages to their various contacts. "By this notice, they are advised to check their e-mail and profile for the schedule of their examination or visit the board's website for their status," the statement added. It said candidates will soon be requested to print their e-slip for details such as date, venue and time of the examination. JAMB said candidates not listed for the supplementary, would not be communicated with; while those, whose results are withheld, would reflect in their profiles, which have been updated just as it advised rescheduled candidates to comport themselves and be of good behavior to avoid the circumstance that earlier necessitated the cancellation of their previous examination.
