Because the bath floor was slippery especially with soapy water. There is something entirely wrong with the way we use bath basin in Nigeria. We stand to bath instead of lying on the bath.

Hotels are worst culprit. While would you install a bath basin in a public hotel you don't clean well? Who ever is going to lie in there?

I can't count how many people this accident has killed!
Thanks so much for sharing.
'Never knew bathroom floors and bath basins are these dangerous!

Another culprit that should watch it is the Banking Industry.
I have watched people slip over and again in banking halls.

I will lend my voice from now on.

I used to enjoy using the mirror in the bathroom to check my hair and face while having my bath. so as usual, I came out of the bathtub all soapy to play with my hair but unfortunately, as I was about getting into the bathtub again, I slipped and fell so hard my head bounced off the tiles. it's an experience I never want to have again. it took about 2-3 months for the injury to heal.

ever since that time, I've always tried to be very careful in the bathroom.
Wow. Sorry.
Thank God you survived.
And thanks for sharing.

cry I remember ooooooooo

Hw was an atheist.

I hold on to the belief that at one time or another, He accepted Jesus
Okay. Greatsmiley

*Scripture prophesies that anyone who doesn't believe the truth about Christ now will surely believe the antichrist when he is revealed because his false signs and wonders and miracles are going to be so hypnotising and unbelievably and amazingly real, that they won't have any choice but to accept that he is indeed The Christ.
Only accepting the truth about the gospel of Christ can set you free from the delusion of the antichrist.
For those of you still fighting the truth that your conscience's been desperately trying to convince you about, I love you. Come to Christ. HE loves you soOo much. cry

BlissB I understand that you don't want to dishonor the dead, but please tell me he didn't commit suicide so that I can stop this noise in my head.
Adieu David
cry
BlissB I also understand your need to honour.
But if you lied to Nairalanders concerning the cause of his death, my prayer for you is that the blood of others in that flock of atheism won't be on your headsad
You need to set other Atheist aka philosophers free to go search for God from their empty thinking.

When we are down, just knowing that God is there and that He sees, strengthens us.
Atheist don't believe in God, so who will they run to for salvation when the evil depression of this world goes on rampage like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour?

You don't want to speak the truth, cool, but you shouldn't have lied. At all sad

Even after death so much love shown to you. I ask myself questions like How come they call it goodbye? How come the good die? Rest on my brother.
Good bye because the person is loved.
Not only the good die but the bad also. It is the way of the whole earthsmiley

on the 2nd of Dec 2009, I also slipped and fell in the bathroom.. it was horrible. I hit my head so bad the skin around my lashes got split into two even a part of the tile cracked .. I lost blood and was rushed for stitching immediately. I thank God I'm alive to give this testimony. RIP bro. God knows best
What caused your fall please?

Shiit! Why are we born in the first place if this is how we gonna go? sad
Aren't you happy that you are born?
To enjoy sights, sounds, sea, breeze, air etc etc?
You were born to solve a particular world problem or leave the earth a better place than you met it.
To love even those who do not deserve it, or appreciate you for it, or repay you for it.
If you donot repent and go back to your Maker to find out what that purpose of your life is, life may always seem menaingless.

Jeezz! What kind of bath? The one with bath basin or standing shower?

I personally told my mum that the day she will bath in a bath basin in my sister's house, she wud become my adversary that day because I saw her did once.

She has never gone against the rule. I was so strict about it because I did fall in an hotel bath. As muscular as I was, I couldnt support myself and had headache for one month. I dont do bath basin ever since!
What caused your fall please?

seen that
I have seen it happen too.
But they usually "take" it after the rain stops or sometime later that day.

But I meant something like 3 days or 7 days of non stop rain and non stop power supply sad

Just minutes after, when you are starting to relax and enjoy "light", they "take" it.

It's disheartening and tiring.

Can't Nigerians enjoy light three month stretch without powercut?? sad

Can't Nigerians enjoy power supply 24/7 on a day of heavy rain down pour?? sad

My wish for May day is that te Federal Government declares one full year of
NO "NEPA" BILLS for all Nigerians.

"NEPA" Bills are heartlessness and wickedness.

It is not impossible.
Not with the revelation of the mind boggling amount of looted funds!

Nigerians are going through quite a lot.

FG if you can do this, Nigerians will never forget you forever!

sad

Webmasters / Re: What Do You Think About Nigeria Having An Association Controlling Blogging by sewcool: 9:43am On Apr 21, 2016
Donkenzy47:
Sometimes I begin to imagine what the future have for blogging in Nigeria. Everyday hundreds of blogs are created in Nigeria without any plan. The same post i see on Cheezy's blog is the same post i will see on Lara's blog and several other blogs without even trying to change the topic, image or atleast reconstruct the post.
When thinking about it today, I just feel like an association should be setup up for bloggers and every blog both old and new should be registered.
The association will ensure that every blog in Nigeria meets up to standard before they can proceed with registration.
New blogs should be well examined and the blogger will have to pass through some serious examination.
Any blog that doesnt meet up to standard should be taking as a personal blog and must not be monetised but can accept donations anyway.

And any blog which deals in copy and paste should be warned and if it persists, the blogger can be sued for copyright infrigement.
Atleast with this, even if there are over a million entertainment blogs in Nigeria, they will all have totally different and interesting posts which will never get anyone bored.

This is just my thought and i will like to know your opinion on this..

Gosh..erm..but why reason like this?
You got the internet on a platter of gold.
Now you want to restrict your fellow man??
You even want to restrict how they receive monetary rewards?
Are you for real?
Do Newspapers and Tv newscasters not post similar writeup and broadcast glaring similar newlines?

An association in itself is not bad, but your intention for it is so evil man.

What ya'll fail to acknowledge is that an average lady knows that she's going to get down before she visits.. Many of them play the victim card to spice the whole drama up..

And Yeah! Of course Ladies love drama.
Gawsh are you seriously for real?
An average lady knows she's going to get laid while paying a friendly visit to a guy? Hm! I weep cry
You are a guy, so how do you know this? Your male instinct?

@OP let her not try to manage the properties herself she will have immediate or problems in the future. As a matter of fact, it can cost her life too. Ignore the idea of hiring lawyers or going to court probate to do administration of the estate herself.
There is a superior idea of using a independent Trustee. Please advise the girl to go to Ministry of Justice in her state. There is a department called Administrator General and Public Trustee. The will formally take over her late father's assets and manage and use the proceeds of income earned to help her complete her education smoothly until she is of age, they will legally enable her to take possession of the inheritance. This will equally wade off intruders from family. Unfortunately, the general public seems not to be aware of this services.
@ everybody: please if you are spiritually discerning enough, cases of a successful family member dying at the prime of life - with family members on standby to reap where they did not sow has more to it than it appears on the surface. I thought someone here could point out that the reasons mentioned are not the actual REASON why this girl parents died. HER PARENTS DIED SO THAT FAMILY MEMBERS CAN GRAB THE DECEASED ASSETS!!!!! Please prayerfully relate with family members. It is not uncommon here in Africa. May God give you understanding of what I am talking about.
