U need sufficient rest, take warm bath, two or three times a day, try not to scrub the swollen area when having ur bath, ur underwear should be loosed cotton so as to free the swollen area...eat food rich in fibre & more of fluid intake.

It is not advisable to sit down for long.

I googled your suggestion n got a possible cause. Maybe I might have rupture a tissue due to lifting heavy objects.
or put street on a tissue down there. I just got a job and I've lifting heavy things daily. so I might have put unnecessary stress n stretch somewhere.
