U work for a company that installs deep foundation for Oil companies (which is an arm in Civil engineering(geotechnical engineering)), now u want to study for advance diploma in petroleum engineering, what's d connection... Also, if u claim to be a director at d company, u shld earn n present ur own statement of account no matter ow little..

[quote author=hayqinsbFX post=34055593]An Engineering HND graduate work is different from that of a graduate Engineer cos d former is ment to do the job while the latter supervises it...A graduate Engineer needs 4 years work experience to get corporate membership while an HND need over 13years work experience to get d same membership.. In Nigeria, its almost equivalent.. U even get almost d same salaries (maybe dat y ppl think dey are equivalent). HND graduates av more to offer immediately after graduation cos of more practical knowledge and most grad engineers don't build demselves (ment to learn n get experience under a very good Engineer for atleast 2yrs in design, construction, and project management) but everybody wants to make money immediately afta school. If u see a sound engineer with good knowledge afta 2year, an HND graduate with d same experience wld struggle to stand close
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by SeyiMiilan: 4:43pm On May 24, 2015
[quote author=hayqinsbFX post=34054878]HND is not and shldnt be equivalent to BSc... If u av a B Eng in Engineering, u become a graduate engineer... If u av a certificate in HND, u become an engineering Technologist (with more practical knowledge) but not an engineer. Its only in Nigeria dey try to Equate Hnd n Bsc..

Hello guys, guess u are great.. To all the guys who were Rejected, am so sorry.. Pls be patient and try to fill all the Gaps b4 reapplying. Hopefully, u wld get ur TRV. Pls if you want to advice ppl here, pls make sure it is the Right one or STAND To BE CORRECTED like my bro Ugo. An advance Diploma is a POST SECONDARY SCHOOL program taken at any point in time of one's education (B4, during and after an undergrad program) while a post grad Diploma is Taken AFTA ur UnderGrad degree. (Source: Answer.com). Let's be careful wen we advice ppl on dier choice of study.... U can get a Trv wen u apply for advance diploma even if u av an Undergrad degree already (slim del got hers last yrs) but u wld need a strong application.. I am a lil tensed but i know we wld get good news soon. All d best guys.

Hello, ask yourself a Question b4 u switch from Bsc to advance diploma, which has a stronger stand n is more advance? I would advice u stick to d BSc n attach ur OND certificate OR get an Notification of Result/ attestation letter from d school u did ur OND. Try and work on the reasons why u were rejected instead of starting a new wahala with d advance diploma admission [quote author=ohammed199 post=33542632]
