Romance / Re: How Do I Get A Nice And Religious Husband For This Ex Neighbour Of Mine? by seyoops4u: 3:49pm On Aug 09
Southernigbo:
She been previously married twice, but on each occasion the husband died after 2 to 3 yrs. Now she is finding it difficult getting a husband and she is still very young and beautifu. Some ppl who other wise have asked for her hand think there is superstious about her, but actually there is not she is just a normal lady and nothing more who was only unlucky to have had the life of a peculiar type of trial.

This might sound off but I think she needs to go for deliverance prayer sessions.

It looks like some spiritual husband are lurking around her

No vex....

But you might need to know that it's not about the money you're giving but the motives behind the giving.

What if they did or said that to avoid unnecessary issues for themselves ?

We have seen and heard scenarios where people spray newly wedded couples charmed money which landed the marriage fruitless... like they were childless for years until they sought the face of God to know the root cause of their woes.

So, they surely have their reasons for saying that and kudos to them for not denying people that weren't allowed to spray go home with empty stomach

Biko, wish them well..

Tonero5200:
I Just attended a wedding ceremony where the celebrants told the mc to announce to the public that people shouldn't bother spraying them. the mcee said it loud and clear, that we should eat and drink and keep our change to ourselves or we should come spray him the mcee or DJ. As a normal nigeria at first we were happy, atleast money is saved, but as time went on we realised they were certain people that were allowed and expected to sprayed while they were dancing, the celebrant peers and all, Rain of cash everywhere... meaning we that they saw we were likely coming to spray with 500# or 1k were rebuked, probably they don't need our 50naira, change.

I felt embarrassed and angry at the same time, that's ill-mannered from them, I hate it when people look down on me, because they are financially bouyant they think they can look down on people anyhow. Well I look to see them in few years time where they will be. I wished them a normal married Life and withold the happiness from it because I don't think they need it.

He had always wanted to go to Madrid and not any other club...
Soso990240:
He wasn't bent on going to Madrid for FREE. He wanted to leave PSG for a more serious club, and Madrid happened to be the ones chasing him constantly. If Guardiola had gone for him, He would have accepted too. He just doesn't want to be in PSG again, and PSG didn't want to sell, hoping that he will change his mind and sign a new contract. If PSG had accepted Madrid bid for him in January, he would have been there by now. Same thing if Guardiola had gone for him.

Soso990240:
Guardiola de make long term plan.. Gundogan is no longer a 90 mins player.. even paying 150m pounds for 30 year old Kane would have been a more stupid buy. I will rather buy Mbappe for 150m or 180m

But mbappe wasn't an option for him last season. The boy is bent on going to Madrid for free this next season.
Sports / Re: Manchester City Sign Erling Haaland by seyoops4u: 5:21pm On May 10
Good signing but he might struggle in his first season.

Guardiola made mistake for not sigining Kane last season for that 150 M but paid 100 M for Grealish who haven't been able to replicate his Aston villa's form for the Blue army.

Politics / No Matter What, Naija Politicians Salaries No Dey Delay by seyoops4u: 6:47am On May 10
Since I was born, I have never heard in the news that a politician in ANY capacity is being owed salary. Only the civil servants and pensioners gets owed in this country.

No matter the hardship, lawmakers get new vehicles & Govs get billions in SVs.

Why should Presidents, Governors, LGA chairs, lawmakers and other elected reps be receiving salaries uninterrupted when the people they were elected to serve and represent are being owed months of salaries and arrears?

Who rigged this game? Why are we this docile?

Our young guys and girls aren't ready to learn handiwork again to get skills like tailoring, mechanic, engineers just to mention a few.

They now see those works as dirty but most guys would rather go into yahoo yahoo and the female into prostitution.

Most of them want to use phones and live a life style they can't afford.

It's well with this generation.

Lol... You should learn how to use the word "SOME" and stop generalizing.

You have your own opinion about them. And that's what will keep coming to you because the law of attraction.

Like say some Americans don't cheat.

virginprincess:
My dear sister pls if you are in america just look for an american to marry because africa men (nigeria men especially) are the worst set of men to ever get married to(though not all),most of them are only after what they will gain from you like money and free visa abroad, and also nigeria men are very good at cheating so pls if you don't want to get your heart broken avoid africa men(nigeria men) to avoid had i know.

Ooh..
But the Government can open their mouth wide and ask Twitter to be registered in Nigeria thereby collecting tax.

Let pay too na. By the time all the gov parastatals on Twitter are billed for using the app, it would make sense and balance.

Were you there ?
Or are you new on social media ?

Is this not the same social media where people fabricate stories to get public sympathy.

What about hearing from the other party ?
To know if this is true or not.
You can do better next time.

They will let you be.... Reason with them, they will tell you to pay the bride price and you will now go ahead to do the buried.

Sorry about your loss....

StilmaVsBorn2w:
Back then when my mom was warning me not to go that far when our relationship started She kept on insisting I should go for the girls in my tribe, I thought she was just been a tribalist bigot. If only I had listened

She bore me a son, he's 3years now... though her people knows me well from normal visitation..but I haven't been able to pay her bride price yet due to the hardship this regime has on us. life happened, unfortunately she got sick since February, ever since then from one hospital to another..I took several loans from people for hospital bills to the point of me looking sick myself.so sad for us we lost her last night.

I informed her elder brother who knows about all thats happening, he called me back this morning to tell me that his people told me to be prepared to marry her corpse. He went further and said if I don't pay her bride price, my boy will be taken from me and I should be ready to withstand the consequences.
I was surprised, I called for the burial arrangements not for a marriage ceremony

I blantly told him, I won't, why would I get married to her corpse. He was angry and cut the call on me.

Am more concerned about my son, please lawyer's in the house do they have any right to take my son away from me?
Even if they do am ready to give it to them, but spending money to Marry her corpse I will not.

I only brought this here, if had chance for my son whose still in my custody.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Thanks For Your Inputs. I'm Now Working In Gombe by seyoops4u: 2:20pm On Apr 18
fmcjunior:
I sought for people's opinions about staying back to work in the southwest with an average pay or work in Gombe that pays up to twice than the southwest.
This is the link of the thread. And I'm grateful it was on the front page for some days.

https://www.nairaland.com/6806388/59k-job-south-west-140k

I'm currently working in Gombe and the place is kinda dope for the Northeast setting. Transportation and food prices is cheap. I was even surprised to see the state has a good road network.

But the heat is sometimes unbearable.

Overall I'll give the state a 6/10.

I love my work

Nigeria would have been a good place but insecurity has ruined everything..
