Kiriji/ Ekiti parapo war

Immediately after Jalumi war, Ibadan arrived home..but unfortunately after a week they return home they lost Balogun Ajayi Ogboriefon they all sympathize..but instead of Aare Latoosa to install a new Balogun to Ibadan he didn't..Rev Samuel Johnson said Aare Latoosa was the one that cause the reason why Ibadan didn't conquer Ekiti/Ijesha in Kiriji war..he had make a damage to his government.. because his the one that killed Efunsetan,: the woman that supply them with weapon, food,amon, with her money based on misunderstanding that happened between them...Latoosa impeached Efunsetan as Iyalode Ibadan..and if they impeached Iyalode he must leave the town but Efunsetan Aniwura refuse..based on some chiefs like her and support her...but Latoosa later conquer her....he also kill Fuko one of powerful chief,etc so that is the way he has been damage his government...

Fabumi Oke-Imesi heard that Balogun Ajayi Ogboriefon had passed away..he started moving around all the villages in Ekiti, Ijesah for support and unite..he said if we fight together we are going to conquer this Ibadan...he started building his own army and some Obas started giving him money and support..but during this time his not in Oke-Imesi..

Ogedengbe was still in where is doing his refuge he had fight so many war and he conquered and they have summited themselves to him as thier Lord..but during this time Ogedengbe didn't support Ekiti and ijesah...

Fabumi Oke-Imesi command all the citizen of Ekiti and ijesah to start killing all Oyo again who are living in Oke-Imesi and they follow the instruction...they started killing Oyo again and send the message to Ibadan again but Aare onu Kankanfo Lastoosa said they are still playing once I get there by myself I'm going to destroy all their land...and they send the letter to Owa of Ilesha...

The letter was deliver to Owa of ijesa he was so panic because he know how dangerous for them to plan a war against Kankanfo..he also know that Kankanfo will have support of many villages under Ibadan by giving him army..but Fabumi Oke-Imesi said no matter how big his Kankanfo this is our land we have to defend it..

In Ibadan Aare Latoosa still on his opinion that he wanted to conquer ijebu and Egba so that they can be among the villages under him..Sanusi Omo Aare was also using his father power upon the citizen of Ibadan... Oluwo of Iwo send message to Latoosa that they are killing Oyo people in oke Imesi again..that us where he send Akintola Omo Balogun ibikunle he gave him almost 40,000 Army to Oke Imesi and in a speech you must conquer them before I finish with Egba and Ijebu here...

Owa of ijesa send a message to Ogedengbe agbogungboro to come and take over of the war in Oke Imesi but he refuse... Rev Samuel Johnson said the reason why he refuse is that after Fejeboju war Which Ogedengbe lead Ijesah and he loose he was arrested but Latoosa and Ajayi Ogboriefon was the one that free him in agreements that his not going to plan a war against Ibadan or the villages under Ibadan and he agreed....but when all Obas in Ekiti Ijesah were send definitely message to Ogedengbe he later accept to join them...

Back to Ibadan when the message was deliver to Akintola Omo Balogun ibikunle in Oke Imesi.. immediately he send the message to Aare Latoosa that we want to see you in war.. because Ogedengbe Agbogungboro have take over the war....

In war... before Ogedengbe come and take over.. Ibadan were the one that do chase Ekiti and ijesah with a little gun and kill them..but when Ogedengbe arrived to the war things changed Ogedengbe command that no one should go back to camp and he seek help from Egba and Ijebu that he need a weapon... immediately Egba and Ijebu heard about it they were so happy that if they should support Ogedengbe what Latoosa was plan about thier territory we not successful...the first day Ogedengbe arrived to war he killed some many Ibadan army he destroyed their camp he chase them back in a little bit he command some of his Amry to make and ambush for Akintola Omo Balogun ibikunle but Ibadan were so wise and they believe in once they haven't lost their leader they still have hope...in the ambush Ogedengbe plan those army he send to ambush Akintola Omo Balogun ibikunle .. Ogedengbe didn't know he had some Amry called Babanimasa..those one don't care about die but they must protect whoes they guide and they are 1000.. Akintola command them to hide in the bush without knowing Ogedengbe fall into the trap and they were killed madness
But they arrested Ogedengbe ( you can check any history book not just myth history book.. reading a history book you have to check how many professor that signed the history book before Reading).. Ogedengbe was arrested by Akintola in Kiriji war..but he was release based on what is going on in ibadan Aare Latoosa was using his veto power anyhow he can killed and he can spear who he want..but the death of Efunsetan Aniwura,and Fuko ,skiriki lawoyin,.etc ..and his also dictatorship he didn't install anybody as Balogun after the late Balogun Ajayi Ogboriefon...so that is why Ibadan army planed not to win the war for Latoosa...they released Ogedengbe and advice him Latoosa was his way here you better seek help from anyone you know....

Ibadan Chiefs send message to Aare Latoosa we want to see you in war... Latoosa accept and send message to Egba and Ijebu and said After I finished with this ijesah and Ekiti I'm coming for you....

In war when Ogedengbe heard that Aare Latoosa his on his way with 50,000 army to Oke Imesi.. Ogedengbe send message to him and said Aare are you coming to war ? Latoosa said are you still waiting for me just wait let me come over I will killed you in front of your people...that his where Ogedengbe command all the Ijesa and Ekiti that no going back we all going to die in our fathers land...going to Oke Imesi that time you have to passed though Ikirun but Latoosa did follow that way..he wanted to end the war at once he pass-through Iree in order to take the war at the back..but Ibadan army went to gossip to Ogedengbe about the plan.. Immediate Ogedengbe command another ambush he run to Iree with his Army....but during this time Rev Samuel Johnson said latoosa change his mind and change the way..but Ogedengbe didn't know. he was waiting for Latoosa in Iree but Latoosa had changed his mind and passed though Ikirun...once he arrived he command heavy and brutality War immediately and said I must end this war today they started killing Ekiti, Ijesah based on Ogedengbe have left the camp... Latoosa destroy all their camp that day he was about to enter their villages and started conquer them one by one..that is where Ibadan army said Afaro Afaro Afaro.. Latoosa was so surprised he said we have to conquer their villages today..but all Ibadan army's said they are all tired..he even beg them but they refused..based on their planed that they will not win any war for him...

When Ogedengbe heard about this where he was waiting for Latoosa in Iree he was so surprised and shock immediately he seek help from Ilorin, that he need army and he was given 48,000.he seek help from Egba and Ijebu,people of ijesa and Ekiti living in Lagos that he need weapons Egba and Ijebu including Lagos give him guns I mean new gun that white man just introduce but based on Egba and Ijebu that close their territory boundary so Ibadan didn't have the Opportunity to get it... but the gun was snuggles to Ogedengbe..very sharp gun and their are fighting the war in a place covered with rock on big mountain so the gun generates sounds Kirijimu Kirijimu Kirijimu.... Ogedengbe advice Ekiti and ijesah that we have to take use of this gun before Ibadan also have the opportunity of it....

Rev Samuel Johnson said Alafin Adeyemi was also in support of Ekiti and ijesah but he later regret it because the Kiriji war was the reason why yoruba Lost some villages to Benin Republic.. because Ibadan was the one that is fighting for Alafin... Christianity went to Oyo and ask Alafin Adeyemi to make a peace and unity but he refused...during this time the war is 5 years already ..

Modakeke was in support of Ibadan they provide weapon ,AMA ,food, Fabumi Oke-Imesi beg modakeke to support them but they refused .... Ogedengbe plan a war to modakeke and he send Fabumi to modakeke and latoosa send Akintola as well...this is where Fabumi Oke-Imesi come across his dead..he was killed in modakeke.... during this the war is 7years already...

In Kiriji all Ibadan army's were perambulate that Aare can't win a war for 8years mean while they are the one that plan not to win it for him...one day, Ajayi Osungboekun mother send slave to deliver food for him in the war zone ..on their way Aare Latoosa army hijack the food... immediately he heard about this he went to Latoosa camp and Started shouting where is the army that collected food from you the slave pointed to him...immediately Osungboekun beheaded the army in front of Aare Latoosa... Kankanfo was shock and surprised...now he know they have plan not to win war for him..now he understand why he was still in Kiriji..the following day after 8 years in war Asubi aro Ladoke Mohammed Aare onu Kankanfo Lastoosa committed suicide...and Osungboekun take over the war...he said now we have to conquer Ekiti and ijesah our enemy is dead...but not knowing that Ogedengbe have seek help from every nation in Yoruba land..so the war take another 8 years before British came to end the fight...
