I have two answers:

1). Yes you can come with the kids since Brazil is visa free for 6 months and you have a right to enter the UK (the student visa).

2). Why would you take two kids (not even 1) to start school? Do you know how stressful induction and initial classes are? Besides these kids will be stuck in the same room with you, screaming or playing while you’re meant to be studying or doing induction trainings. Isn’t it more sensible to wait for school to calm down a bit before you bring them?

Thank u very much. That is the reason I do not want them to stay with me until I'm done with the academic aspect of my study. I didn't just want a sudden detachment of them.

I have not entered UK at all with the student visa but I intend to next week. Is it possible to take my kids along with me using their Brazilian passport or i have to enter first, get my BRP before I can pick them? After making payment for my IHS and Visa Payment, I discovered I put my *Given Names* as Family Name and *Family Name* as Given Name.

I input my Wife and Child names correctly as expected except for my own.

I cannot edit the info again at this stage and I want ask if I can go ahead with this particular application or I am expected to fill another new application to avoid any issue for my Wife and Child whenever they will applying to come and join me.

It can be rectified on d day of your biometrics. Just tell the attendants.Also write a cover letter to the VO stating the errors and upload it in your online application.

I would say cancel and resubmit, refunds take about 28 working days though less in some cases. I know that someone on here has had this rectified using a cover letter (can't remember who now) but that can have a negative outcome if the ECO misses it for any reason.

It happened to me. I wrote a cover later and it was rectified. My surname was omitted. I use two surnames cos of my marital status. I put only one surname on my application instead of the way it is on my International passport. On the day of my biometrics, I explained to them and d guy rectified it in the system including the cover letter i uploaded before my biometrics. When I got my decision mail, it came with the correct name. I mean the name that was omitted.

If you cancel, that means you will start all over and the refund for the application cancelled, will take some time to come back to you. In such situation, you can either add the letter of explanation or cancel and then start all over again. However, a letter of explanation should remedy this error.
A letter of explanation should cover for that, except the Entry clearance officer decides to be blind to it. In actual sense, we make mistakes and one of the reasonable ways to atone for it, expecially when you cannot make the correction, is to add a letter of explanation.
Write a letter of explanation, addressed to the Entry Clearance Officer, British High Commission, 11 Walter Carrington Crescent, Victoria Island, Lagos or if it is Ikeja you want to use. Address to the British high commission in Ikeja.
