Good day officers and candidates in the house. I've been a silent follower of this thread and I must commend everyone that has contributed in one way or the other to the enlightenment of naive candidates like myself, I want to say kudos to you guys. I need your advice guys. I've been living with hepatitis B which my case is actually hereditary as I was born with it and I'm asymptomatic as well. Prior to my tertiary education I've applied for Nigerian army as a non commissioned officer and I made it to the screening twice after the exam but I was later dropped, mind you even though I had hepatitis I don't know how but I made it past medical at both periods that I applied as I was actually dropped for something else. Now I applied for SSC and I'm very optimistic I'll make it to screening but going by the information on this thread it seems it will be a waste of time for me going for the screening. I'm really confused guys do you think I should give it a try or I should not even bother.

Bro for commissioned officer, them go see ur hepatitis

I smile, I really ain't a fan of the constant complements, well personalities are different, where I work now, I use sir/ma for my cleaner n errands....I already have a government job, I applied last year based on passion and was selected, this year too won't be any different other than the fact that I would be in training next year....Not for the salary, nor the shoulder carrying ego, but the fulfilment I want for my self

From a reliable source.

The army has started the shortlisting process.
The process is based on the following criteria.
1. Blurry images and documents are not considered
2. Degree/Hnd obtained earlier than 2014
3.Waec date of birth not tally with date of birth in the birth certificate.
4.Third class and below and it's polytechnic equivalent.
5. 1.63 height and below
6. 30 years and above for SSC.

I hope you are not guilty of any of the above listed?

Note: I copied and pasted it as I was sent.

I guess everyone that applied should meet this

DSSC has more competition

What's the update......

Candidates no shaking, BMI will not be your problem but watch it, surplus will be called for medical so they can weed u.

DSSC candidates please don't study for exams with SSC candidates (the competition is different). DSSC dig deep with your preparations, SSC might be given a smaller cut off compared to DSSC

Guys don't stress yourself on 3.5km once u dey do light sports before, on the deal day if u make it to that level, the fun n morale in the activity will make u pass it with ease (don't take drugs)

Candidates don't have it in mind that you are competing with the northerners, na ur state ppl be your competition ooooo.

Candidates your level of confidence really matters, don't panic, be friendly, take things with ease.......
If u smoke, stop now because of ECG, blood and urine samples...start practicing how to stay under the sun...You can't be spending 16hrs under the AC and come to the Sun in kaduna without been weed out with hbp

Candidates if u naturally have hbp, start taking garlic, lot of ppl that took it last year passed, I was the novice thinking I won't need it, but guys brought it to the hostel and they are all in training

Candidates don't have it in mind that ARMY does not check your class of degree, preference are given to First class and 2:1, last year it was reported Venue state had the best results with 90% of those shortlisted having first-class or 2:1

Thanks dear.
Good to know one is on the right track as regards prepping for the exams.

Quick one; will there still be the usual shortlisting of candidates of 30 per state to come for exams. Won't that be too small? Any insights will be appreciated. Thanks again dear. May God grant us our heart desires.

Same as last year probably.....

Only successful candidate will be invited for physical screening.....(This will reduce expenses on feeding n hosting the whole candidates)

States will be categories on various batches based on covid-19 precautions

SITUATION REPORT SATURDAY MORNING

SSC = 8751

DSSC = 23980

From yesterday report on day to day comparison, this shows that we have 130 new profiles for SSC as against 398 yesterday, also we have 322 new profiles for DSSC as against 1140 yesterday.

From this report, we can see a very large downward trend in the numbers of new applicants, as it stands SSC might barely make it up to 12k by close of registration and DSSC might barely exceed 30k

SITUATION REPORT FRIDAY MORNING

SSC = 8621

DSSC = 23980

From yesterday report on day to day comparison, this shows that we have 398 new profiles for SSC, and also 1140 new profiles for DSSC.

An average of 233 candidates per states for SSC
An average of 648 candidates per state for DSSC

Generally we can see there is a little downtrend in the creation of new profiles for both SSC/DSSC, and as predicted the first week of NN reg will also assist in boosting the tally, based on Nigerians mentality of doing registration for all available job application same time.

SITUATION REPORT THURSDAY MORNING

SSC = 8223

DSSC = 22840

Sorry from the break in communication, it was due to the problem with the portal

From my last post on MONDAY where we have

SSC= 7282
DSSC = 20123

This simplifies that there is an increase of 941 new profile on SSC from MON-THUR

Also there is an increase of 2717 for new profiles on DSSC from MON-THUR.

We hereby cannot make a definite conclusion that the turn out is low based on the fact that the portal had ish...a three days consistent study on the trend will give a broad picture of the situation

Stay safe n God bless

Bifrost:

An average of 393 applicants across the 36 states and the FCT, for DSSC.
And an average of 146 applicants for SSC across the 36 states and FCT.

****

Assuming for DSSC; 35% of candidates forged their age, falsified certificates, or do not meet the minimum requirements = (35% of 22,412 = 7844) ----> 22,412 – 7,844 = 14,568

:. 14,568÷37 = 393
That leaves us with 393 per state for DSSC writing the first test.

Assuming for SSC: 30% of candidates forged their age, falsified certificates, or do not meet the minimum requirements = (30% of 7,760 = 2,328) ----> 7,760 – 2,328 = 5,432

:. 5,432÷37 = 146
That leaves us with 146 candidates per state for SSC writing the first test. grin

Thank you for the analysis

Communication should come first, but if she put breast for ur mouth shey u go bite am or throw am away.

Since u can't give her attitude u definitely will suck it and enjoy the moment

Try to communicate with her bro, let her know you ain't feeling comfortable with her coming too close in such manner, if her actions persist then result to giving her attitude
