Crime / Re: Tiv/Jukun crisis: Six killed whilst vandalising, looting church in Taraba by ShamsBarack: 10:03pm On Jun 02, 2019
payosehtor:
I 've stated advising any TIv man in Tr state to start considering house insurance policies cuz Tiv house' life span hitherto was10 years but now it's 5yrs. e.g. my father's house was burnt in Gd Dorowa in 1991 we left to Dan Anacha, in 2001yet dislodged, I joined my elder brother in Ananum 2014 his house burnt, he decided lets settle in Donga town, yet his house got brought down last month may 2019 by the
same Jukums. NO BODY SHOULD COME BETWEEN US. I DON'T WANT TO TYPE ANYTHING "COUNT DOWN" AGAIN THOSE BLAMING BuharI should stop forth with
Allow them, they think we don't know history.

We all know how the Jukuns seem to think everyone in Taraba should bow down to them because they feel they are Lords in Taraba.

And I don't also blame them, I blame the Gov't that allows T.Y. Danjuma to arm militias in Taraba state, who often carry out attacks on his behalf.

We also lost our properties in Adu, Takum. Even in Donga, we have family members who have lost properties.

The Jukuns are very troublesome. If they are not fighting the Tivs, it is the Hausas or even the Fulanis.

Wanity:

Leave them let them be dragging land that does not belong to them

For me I tag tiv people as one #1 stupid tribe on earth

Nonsense tribe they will always drag but can not stay to fight
Jukun man! cheesy

The Tivs in Taraba state are bonafide indigenes of Taraba state and will continue to be till eternity.

We've been fighting since the dawn of time. The Jukun can't wish us away. They can't also kill us away. The earlier you guys realise this the better for us all.

The Tivs should just return to their Benue jejely.
Return how? To where?

Can you tell an indigene of Ebonyi to return to Anambra state? Where will they go to?

The Tivs are also indigenous to Taraba state.

To think she looks better all covered up.
Maybe her mirror tells lies...or the problem could be her sight.

I don't think it is a pre-wedding picture though.
Hater!

She looks better with the cleavage and whatnot. Stop spoiling 'market' for us. Are we complaining of how her dress is? grin tongue

Politics / Re: Electoral Bill: APC, PDP Guilty Of Playing Politics With Nigeria's Stability by ShamsBarack: 8:25pm On Dec 09, 2018
I took my time to read the bill today and I wholeheartedly agree with him. Both parties and the NASS are not being sincere with the truth about this issue. The NASS inserted clauses that will be favourable to them. While the president has refused to assent chiefly because the election order might not be favourable to him, if members of NASS are voted in first.

Nothing is ever done to favour the majority of Nigerians. It is always about the 1 percent, that majority of us are not part of.

Women, by their nature, are jealous creatures.

Politics / Re: FG To Commence Sack Of Unqualified Teachers January 2020 by ShamsBarack: 10:29am On Dec 09, 2018
I think most of you commenting here don't know what the Government means by 'Qualified Teachers'.

To Government, an NCE holder is better qualified to teach, than a degree holder; especially someone who is not B.Ed. qualified, but B.A or B.Sc. And if you must teach with a B.A or B.Sc, then you must register and sit for an exam with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

Now this is where the problem lies.

Most, if not all our Colleges of Education are now nothing to write home about. In short, 90 percent of NCE graduates can't converse in English Language. In short, most, if not all big private schools no longer accept NCE holders. Graduates now do a far better job at teaching, than those who the Government are 'training' for the job.

For some of these graduates, they then register for the TRCN programme, and get the certification to teach without harassment from anyone. For most, they are not even registered. But does that take away the fact that they are better at what they do, compared to NCE holders that the Government see as more qualified? DEFINITELY!

There are several things wrong with our educational system. The Government is just trying to generate revenue by pressuring the thousands of graduates who are striving to make ends meet, to register for a TRCN certification that is very useless, and doesn't even add anything to the quality of what kids get from teachers.

The Government should instead focus on infrastructure and renumeration of teachers.

This is a good step in the right direction, some days ago I came across a lady who was to receive her appointment letter from the office of a certain state's civil service commission, she couldn't write "original copy received by me". The officers were alarmed and when questioned about the school she finished from it was a University of education not even college.....what course she said B.Sc in Educational Management with specialty in Geography....They further asked her B. SC or B. Ed, his lady had a B.Ed but unfortunately couldn't differentiate between the two. The officers shook their heads and kept muttering is this the fellow going to teach our children. Unfortunately their hands were tied as they didn't know the powers that be that recommended her for appointment.
Teachers are also professionals so let them go through the rigour of becoming one. Our children's future can't be left in the hands of quacks.
So much ignorance in one post.

So someone who finished from a College of Education, is then better than a graduate?

Mexican ladies can be really beautiful. This one just looks average to me.

I vividly remember when Agbani Darego won like it was yesterday. That was the first time the entire family sat down to watch a beauty pageant. When she was announced as the winner, I remember my mom celebrating it like it was one of her daughters. cheesy grin
