seunmsg:Question: Are there impeachable offences commited by Fayose? If Yes: The lawmakers across divides should do the needful following the stated guidelines in the constitution. No sentiments If No: Fayose should present himself before the lawmakers since he has nothing to hide. An Al Makura of Nasarawa came to mind! All this one u r sayin does not pander to reason or evn democratic tenets! Lets do |
ichidodo:Baba blue...buhaahahahahahaa....learn to shut up so u r assumed wise eventhough most in here can see beyond the verbose words n blue-colourd font! Now it is reelection of Ambode in 2019..Buhahahahaha...Kontinuuu...kp makin a phool of urslf, we r clapping for u! |
anonimi:Here u come again expressing a contraption of thought on an unambiguous submission. How does the discrepancy in wages between those on minimum wage and that of the legislatures become what u have submitted? A labour issue to b fought by the apex body leaders suddenly assumes a corrupt hue jst cos u sy so? You might as well conclude that this govt is the most corrupt govt all because what u have posited wt a QED wasnt "addressed"! Son, govt is not run on emotions! And "SINators" are not political appointees. |
@ oshyno, BarryX, okoro2015, stinggy, Most times we get ridden on when we tend to be too emotional about issues of government instead of being intellectual. Integrity begets integrity and its obvios some of u jst want us to go by "our own constitution". The CCB has the statutory mandate to recieve declaration forms, examine them, recieve complaints on any breaches as a result of what was stated in the forms. The CCB has "barely recieved" the forms frm the President n His vice talk more of going to cross-check the veracity and we are here foaming in the mouth already. The President cannot jump the gun to make pronouncements about his assets jst to please us when there is a statutory body whose job among which is to verify if what they hve stated in d forms is credible. Lets say any of the parties comes n make a publc declaration n you have a complaint on a breach, isnt a document verified by the CCB going to b a very good place to start with? Yaradua made his declaration a clear 30days (28 Jun 2007) after swearing in and subsequent verificatiion of his assets by CCB. Lets nt forget dt he ddnt declare it himself but orderd the CCB to make it public. We have a constitution and until there is a chaange in d constitution, we are mandated to wait or else we end up declaring that "we are married" jst becos we have supplied the list of things asked by inlaws which hasnt bn cross-checked n d marriage proper hasnt bn done. LET'S WAIT! |
freedom96: on point! |
freedom96:Am sowee if u ddnt get my position, yes u r ryt Yaradua defeated Buhari but my submission was based on the present arrangement where a Tinubu (SW) is solidly backin Buhari. Wt ds arrangement no northerner can beat a person like Buhari who has a followership like no other in North but outside such alliance, a repeat of 2011 for GMB is what we wl get at best. Hope u get my point? |
arbitter:Bro that was epic...ur words cut through lyk Persian scimitar. Respect Man! |
chukwudi44:When did u start shouting on Nland? And in ur weird estimation ONLY d votes of the north counted in d elections? Ddnt Buhari pull similar numbers in kano iin 2011 wt a Shekarau as Governor. Before u attribute 1.2mil to Kwankwaso, GMB pulled 1.6mill wt a shekarau who was in ANPP and Buhari in CPC. Who was a key facilitator of the merger of d politiical parties that most said was doomed to fail? The same man who ditched his candidate of his party (Ribadu) to shore up Jonathan's votes in 2011 is loudmouthed and has no influence? Chukwudi44, hate him or like him, Tinubu has his place in history and u cnt take that away! |
freedom96:And in ur weird estimation theres any Northern that can stand Buhari...do u folks forget so soon d votes GMB ALONE pulled? Who is Sule Lamido in Northern Politics, Kwankwaso has more grounds sef? Look at d APC presidential primaries and u wl get my point. |
@chukwudi44 kwankwaso gave u said? u actually tink GMB needed anybody to pull dt number in d North especially wt how the North was fed up wt Jona-2011 election results shd suffice! And u thought witout Tinubu, 4 out of d 5 states would have easily bn clinched by d APC? Am sorry to sy, u r fast loosin depth in ur submissions in here. |
HopeAtHand:Hate him or like him his words on Jonathan rings true! And to answr u; there are Kings and there are Kingmakers...Tinubu jst assumed a kingmaker role! |
@Noblezone As much as I would have appreciated ds well-thought thread but ur below comments which I consider quite childish jst put a damper on the excitement ur thread should elicit. We need a thread like urs to keep us ("pro and "anti" ) abreast of policy decisions which will engender robust discourse about those decisiions dt affects us all-whether opposition or not, but when ur proposal (ds thread) is laced with petty mischief frm ds ur comment, then I dare say ur thread is jst what it is, a "thread" to be used n disused! In one breath u said u "we shall opppose Buhari GRACIOUSLY" and in another d true content of ur heart busts at its seams and u blurt out unconscoiusly that PMB is a "Democratic tyrant". Its obvious "gracious" has a different meaning tto u How do u expect such duplicity from u to iniiatiate an across board conversation necessary for nation building? That is if ur reason for puttin ds thread up is nt far removed from d Noble zone! Sorry ur thread is dead on arrival! noblezone: |

eazisky:Yh GEJ is a gentleman who wasnt able to delineate the place of his Personality as a "Gentleman" n his Position as "President". He waas one President we had that was neither feared nor respectec while he wielded power. He "discoverd" d enormous powers he had as a president and went on a fire n hire spree few weeks tto him leavin and complicated wt d fuel situation! On whether he wl attack Buhari, I dare ask has Buhari attacked GEJ personally? U hear him refer to d PDP governmnet but not GEJ personally! What dd we c during d election campaign? What ddnt d PDP smear on GMB den, and what GEJ do abt it? Nothing! Anyway its all over and thank God we hv a new phase to start over! Shallom |
Gracealone:U r d second person who has asked that question "Why Now?" but does Amaechi ring a bell? When he was shouting himself hoarse on ds issue so many in here said he was making noise. Read from the below the link where the governors were maakin "noise" over this matter. http://www.informationng.com/tag/excess-crude-account |
icedbreez:Ofcos u r entitled to ur opinion n u cn hold onto it all u wnt even in d face of superior arguments and empirical evidence. The overiding question wc u hv chosen nt to ask wc cleaarly delineates the "saint" and the "devil" as u called d characters compared is "What is done wt d debt incured?" There is no need goin into that because it wl leave wt no option to label one a "saint" and d odr a "devil". I ask u this again if u ddnt c it "did u miss the part where he syd there is 100billion in an account to service those debts? If anthing he has said is nt factual, d Olisa Metuhs hv dia way of determinin its veracity. |
Firefire:Same goal we share! |
icedbreez:Simple economics, thats if u have a faint idea of what that is wl teach u that debt is nt "debt" as u put it...there is good debt and bad debt! Yes, Lagos is in debt but d debt incured is for Capital and not Recurrent Expenditure(world of difference)-mind u he has nevr defaulted in salary payments. Simply put, d debt was "invested"! Did u miss the part where he syd there is 100billion in an account to service those debts. Dangote is in debt as we speak but if he comes to u to borrow him 50 million, wl u lend him d money? Of course u wl! Why? Cos u kno he has d capacity to pay! That is Lagos State for U, so u undrstand! |
arewaempire:Hahahhaahaa...guy u dey mad o...i wl tel my daddy for u! |
Firefire:U dnt say much this days, jst d same repeated cliche of "Posterity will judge". Come give me ds me ds "Posterity" numbr so I call him/her to judge once and for all. Seriosly I expctd a "robust" comment from u on ds cos somtym back I read ur back and forth on some topic similar to ds wt LNZH. But it seems uve bn silenced! |
agarawu23:Son, truth is bitter..no country this blessed is in such dire straits..stop hiding under some leaky cover of challenges. Look at how evn Ghana, Niger is using us as an example of a country that has come to accept ds misfortune as its destiny n folks like u wl come here n sing praises to high of ds inept governmnt who hasnt evn shown simple decorum to evn put out a statement on this. I guess ur Hero doesnt give a damn n we cnt watch him leave. |
Flets:Son, its ur opinion no doubt but Folks like u jst sit in ur coven of mischief and just conjure hooey and u tink we wl swallow ur gibberish hook, line n sinker! This ur Big Mac-sized lies wt deceit in between does not sell, try some other line! P.S Its "Heating" not "Hitting" Son! |
ibkgab001:Why wl folks like u rather eat crumbs when the whole cake is presented to u! If d article is aanytin credible, it paints a picture of "shoot-at-sight", "no sacred cows" policy to b implementd but for folks like u, u wl rather have a fleeting orga.sm frm few among many "prosecuted" even when there are no credible evidence all becos it suits ur vendetta. This is an issue dt borders on contravention of law and not one to oil some people personal vindictiveness. A credible anti-corruption crusade is one dt cuts across board-top to bottom and that is what is expected from d incoming government not ds process of severing one finger aand choosin to forget dt d rest are gangrenous! |
Pinkiedearie:Mention corn n pinkiie appears wt fresh coconut...jst hope d chaff doesnt end up on eyebrow though...gdmorn pinkie ![]() |
dearpreye:Respect Man! |
hadizadeezy:deezy y nt kiyi addin na a whatsap sipli takwas sipli uku bakawi sipli hudu daya biyar sipli bakwai |
Hmm..ok na..Agbada wan hook for barb wire! |
dearpreye:Hmmm...was this account hacked? ![]() |
coldFLARES1:Chill Mr, Yes "Subsidy" will go but not in that GEJ inhuman way...when d books are opened u wl see dt ds whole "subsidy" is all a myth. U jst cnt wake up n knock off "subsidy" which in my opinion is a conduit to steal our common patrimony without puttin palliative measures and that is after decieving us that it wl b removed in April of that year. There were buses commisioned aftr negotiations to end d protest, did/do u see them in ur part of town? What happend to d subsidy scammers? |
Firefire:What do u call what this? A face-saving thread for GEJ? Who are u trying to force feed wt this ur stale broth? Son, GEJ was clueless and was always found wanting putting d cart beffore d horse. If not how else do u explain dt he jst woke up n decided to take out "subsidy" when d refineries were comatose. Even after the negotiations to end d protest, where r d palliative measures that normally should b in place b4 taking such action with devastating effect on the polity! Do u see d buses? Firefire, go get more fire, too many fresh woods like mine no smoke! |
hadizadeezy:deezy kenan...sunan ki ne yasa na duba profile dinki...nima dan maid ne ama ban na maid yanzu..ama ba, y not in aika miki PM so dt muyi tadi, that is if yayi miki? |
Firefire:Taming? Dnt make me laf abeg! Amaechi is comin back with a vengeance! |
