You are not from Ekiti so you won't understand the tension that currently envelops the state. The governor has not been able to do much for the state since the impeachment problem started. Ekiti people want peace to reign in their state and they also want Fayose to continue as the governor. APC should not throw the state into confusion for selfish reasons. They should stop attempting to get through the back door what they couldn't get through the ballot.
Question: Are there impeachable offences commited by Fayose?

If Yes: The lawmakers across divides should do the needful following the stated guidelines in the constitution. No sentiments

If No: Fayose should present himself before the lawmakers since he has nothing to hide. An Al Makura of Nasarawa came to mind!

All this one u r sayin does not pander to reason or evn democratic tenets!

Here u come again expressing a contraption of thought on an unambiguous submission.

How does the discrepancy in wages between those on minimum wage and that of the legislatures become what u have submitted? A labour issue to b fought by the apex body leaders suddenly assumes a corrupt hue jst cos u sy so?

You might as well conclude that this govt is the most corrupt govt all because what u have posited wt a QED wasnt "addressed"!

@ oshyno, BarryX, okoro2015, stinggy, Most times we get ridden on when we tend to be too emotional about issues of government instead of being intellectual.

Integrity begets integrity and its obvios some of u jst want us to go by "our own constitution".

The CCB has the statutory mandate to recieve declaration forms, examine them, recieve complaints on any breaches as a result of what was stated in the forms. The CCB has "barely recieved" the forms frm the President n His vice talk more of going to cross-check the veracity and we are here foaming in the mouth already.

The President cannot jump the gun to make pronouncements about his assets jst to please us when there is a statutory body whose job among which is to verify if what they hve stated in d forms is credible.

Lets say any of the parties comes n make a publc declaration n you have a complaint on a breach, isnt a document verified by the CCB going to b a very good place to start with?

Yaradua made his declaration a clear 30days (28 Jun 2007) after swearing in and subsequent verificatiion of his assets by CCB. Lets nt forget dt he ddnt declare it himself but orderd the CCB to make it public.

We have a constitution and until there is a chaange in d constitution, we are mandated to wait or else we end up declaring that "we are married" jst becos we have supplied the list of things asked by inlaws which hasnt bn cross-checked n d marriage proper hasnt bn done.

LET'S WAIT!

Am sowee if u ddnt get my position, yes u r ryt Yaradua defeated Buhari but my submission was based on the present arrangement where a Tinubu (SW) is solidly backin Buhari.

Wt ds arrangement no northerner can beat a person like Buhari who has a followership like no other in North but outside such alliance, a repeat of 2011 for GMB is what we wl get at best.

Hope u get my point?

A simple question for you too Mr shaqhead, if Nigeria come to you tomorrow to buy her bearer bonds, would u buy? Yes off course a smart fella like u ll buy because u no nig is credit worthy. If u re gullible enough to claim Mr Fashola used his huge both local and international debts for ONLY capital Expenditure then off course I too will tell you the Federal Gorment also provided a lot of infrastructure for Nigeria through her debt. You can believe what u want to believe and I ll ultimately believe what I want to believe too but the bottom line is he who is in a glass house should not throw stones. GEJ is leaving behind huge local and foreign debts, Fashola is leaving behind also a lot of local and foreign debts. Desist from making one appear a devil and the other a saint.
Ofcos u r entitled to ur opinion n u cn hold onto it all u wnt even in d face of superior arguments and empirical evidence.

The overiding question wc u hv chosen nt to ask wc cleaarly delineates the "saint" and the "devil" as u called d characters compared is "What is done wt d debt incured?" There is no need goin into that because it wl leave wt no option to label one a "saint" and d odr a "devil".

Simple economics, thats if u have a faint idea of what that is wl teach u that debt is nt "debt" as u put it...there is good debt and bad debt!

Yes, Lagos is in debt but d debt incured is for Capital and not Recurrent Expenditure(world of difference)-mind u he has nevr defaulted in salary payments.
