galatico, nice allegories, WRONG perception. God is within yourself, just waiting for you to find him for yourself. . . .personally. Don't follow any other man, remember, the Pharasees, that Jesus was so much against were seen as spiritual leaders at the time. Your own conscience holds much more wisdom than any other man could open for you. God bless. |

killacam: LOL. Spoken like a very ignorant person. The popularity of classical music is phenominal. It's much bigger, and popular, than people can imagine. |
Music/Radio / Re: Classical Music Is Better Than Rap by sharetroll(m): 7:00pm On Feb 03, 2007 |
killacam: LMAO. Rap just requires a certain attitude, some original lyrics and a decent beat. Hardly any talent. Carry on. |

Music/Radio / Re: Classical Music Is Better Than Rap by sharetroll(m): 6:40pm On Feb 03, 2007 |
my2cents: Agreed. Rap isn't music. It is talking to pre recorded music. No talent needed to be a rapper. Pick up a guitar or sit down to a piano once in a while and try to sing along with the music. Much more talent required (trust me) while rap doesn't require any authentic talent, other than some mush mouth spitting and not even having any instruments. A retarded dog can rap. Rapping takes zero, I repeat zero talent. my2cents: LMAO my2cents: Not quite. |

Comparing classical to rap is like comparing filet mignon to a cheeseburger. One is cheap, easy, and convenient. The other requires a more sophisticated taste. The only reason why rap sells so much is because it is constantly played for the teeny bops who make up the majority of the album purchasing population. If MTV and VH1 were to tell the album buying youth that classical music was cool, the stores wouldn't be able to stock the shelves fast enough. 100 years from now, what is going to be in more peoples music players: Tchaikovsky or Tupac? Classical music withstands the test of time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGmIlMS60c0 Discuss. |

I too am skeptical of man-made global warming. I happily listen to both sides of the argument. However, politics has infused itself into the issue. That's where the problem stems from. Modeling nature is impossible. We simply don't know why the earth is warming, how much it will, and how much greenhouse gases are responsible for it. There are many causes besides carbon (note that the most pervasive and influential greenhouse gas is actually water vapor). People don't take note of things (or more accurately it's not reported on -- due to political influence in my opinion) such as, astronomical causes like sun spots, our tilt and elliptical orbit, wobble in the earth's orbit, variations in the shape of the earths orbit, solar reflectivity, other greenhouse gases (Water vapor! methane), tectonic causes, continental drift, undersea ridge activity among others. Also, if you look for figures such as what the carbon concentration (in parts per million) is you find all sorts of different numbers. The majority of what is publicized serves an agenda. From either side. It's not right that people depend on the news for their information and their fed half truths (lies). |
Travel / Re: Worst Place You Have Ever Been? by sharetroll(m): 2:46pm On Feb 02, 2007 |
Philly and NYC have a bunch of uneducated pricks who think their city is the center of everything. The people there sound like they have an IQ of 60. Retards! Plus, the low per capita income has a lot to due with the jobs that are available in that area. A lot ot blue collar manufacturing jobs dried up in the 70's, that really hurt the rust belt. No jobs leads to high unemployment and crime. That leads to lower property values and tax revanue, which leads to the demise of the area, and it keeps on perpetuating itself. Granted there are some nice areas, but there are also some really bad ones. OWNED |
