My processing center starts with "IOE" (uscis immigration electronic system) which is National Benefits Center at Lee's Summit Missouri and it's way faster bcs the application is been processed online they say

@Smartjac. Thanks for the update bro. My fiancee just messaged me now with our welcome letter from NVC . The excitement no be here. So I quickly checked my status on the tracking site and it showed "in transit". Omo this year go sweet wella.

So guys who are experienced in this stuff should tell us what next to expect in coming days. What to do when case shows ready. How to go about medicals and stuff. Nna man need to be guided like tata now.

I just had my interview. It was a success. But I was told to bring the original copy of my birth certificate and submit at the DHL office alongside my passport. I was also told that once I submit them my visa will be ready for collection in 10 days. Will I say I was foolish to have submitted the photocopy? Lol. Anyways I’m excited. Thank you all. Whew! What a journey.

Good day all. I don’t know how to type my concerns. Anyways, my passport is expiring next year July. My interview is next year January. My passport validity will be exactly 6 months on a day before my interview.
Problem:
As soon as I scheduled my interview in July and I got a date for next year, I proceeded to renew my passport cause I no wan hear story(na the story I dey now). August 4th, I completely all I needed for the application , did my biometrics… all the gbogbotigbo. After 3weeks, I came to check the status, they said it’s being processed (don’t remember the word they used). Then a month later I came and status Indicated “no record found”. Ah! I asked the officer, he said it may be a system glitch that it will correct itself and I shouldn’t worry but to come back in another 3weeks. I got there and this thing is still saying “no record found”. Met with some senior officers who did wan thing wan thing on the system. The other one even requested for my file(file that I already submitted). At the end of the day they told me to not worry that my passport will be ready soon. Ready soon on top no record found abi , ok oh. I sha took their words with a grain of salt.
Question:
Provided that I don’t get my passport next month,
What do I do?
Can I postpone my interview?
Should I abort payment for medicals? Cause if I pay for medicals and miss my interview, it will be a waste of money.
Pls I need advice as I’m very unsettled by this. Nigeria wan wound me so.

Update!!!

Filed for my AOS on September 29th and got NOA1 for October 4th, biometrics appointment letter was sent on October 9th, did my biometrics on November 1st.

Now the wait continues.

I wish everyone on the waitlist both at NVC or AOS all the best.

Thanks so much for your reply................The issue i was asking is that i heard since Nigeria is a high fraud country for K visas....i heard it is very hard for the Us consulate in lagos to grant K1 visas on a one time visit..................and also when there are no pictures with families involved due to the 3rd country meeting

is it possible to get a k1 visa in lagos with a one time visit...........................................And the visit was in a third world country because of corona that time..............so the pictures snapped was between i and my fiancee at different location...no pictures with family but there are video calls screenshot of both families discusssion.

the police report is valid for 1 year 4get about d 3 months on it .for the medical d two weeks is ok but is best u call the medical (hospital)and confirm hw long will it take for result to be out

I got to the embassy by around 6:15am, we waited till around 7am till the security checks were done, , after everything I was called to window 17 and a chubby white guy interviewed me, I was asked just five questions

CO: how did you guys meet
Me: answered

CO: when did you propose
Me: I answered

CO: sorry i didn't understand what you explained on how you guys met, you talk so fast, please calm down a little,

Me: I started explaining from beginning.

CO: so who introduced you guys to each other, your uncle or hers

Me: mine

CO: what does she do

Me: answered

CO: I'm approving you and your visa will be issued within a week

Me: thank you so much sir, I'm grateful

CO: all the best in your marriage

Recently, F1 students have been able to book appointments and have their visa interviews already. Also dates are now available for B1/B2 in Lagos, I guess for January.. so I believe appointments for k1 visa should be
