People like you don't even know, probably don't care if the country burns...so long as your preferred person is on seat. Aren't we supposed to demand accountability and transparency from him? You think France ever mean something good for African countries? Why are our sister countries disassociating from France, to build their country and make it more standard, yet Nigeria is going neck deep with them. Is that the unity other African leaders are showing? See how other west African countries are leveling up without interference from outside.

Mirror Mirror-1

Something strange happened last week, it has left me speechless, weak and scared. If I told you, if I shared this occurrence with you, you wouldn’t believe me; you’ll probably think I am making it up, but I am still shocked, and that’s why I have been unable to share with anyone since then, until now.
I live alone, in a one-bedroom flat, with a small kitchen and a fairly moderate bathroom. When I am not in the living room watching movies or working from home at the table, I am in the kitchen making some nice meals or getting my rest in the bedroom. My house is located off town, in a rather semi-rural environment, as I will describe it. So, lots of people live here, and every necessary amenity, like marketplace, hospitals, schools etc is available which makes it a comfortable place to live in. i like the market days, which are usually every Tuesdays and Fridays, because you’re sure of getting good and new stock especially fresh fruits and and food produce these days, nobody wants stale products, i mean, none that i know of.
I have good neighbours, at least that’s what I see, but among them all, there’s a nosy one, I mean, a few of them are nosy, but this is the nosiest one among them all, it is his lifestyle. I don't want to judge, but it seems he’s unable to differentiate between being friendly and being friendly. Some think he’s just being friendly, but I think he’s just being a bit friendly and a bit more nosy. Although, sometimes i am forced to agree with them, especially when it’s been quiet all day, so quiet that you can hear the air pass by, and this guy comes home from work, saying ‘hello’ and greeting everyone around, while making small jokes, at least the wave of that small ‘noise’ gives me a relief that the world has ended yet, funny! Oh, and before I forget, his name is Peter. Nosy Peter, as I would call him in my head. I will tell you about the other neighbours later.
I used to have a medium-sized mirror that I used every day. Unfortunately, when I was moving in here 10 months ago, the helpers accidentally let it fall, and it shattered, so I threw away the very small pieces and stuck with a bigger piece. I was going to buy a new one, I had told myself. Well, it’s either that I am too busy or I am forgetting, so I didn’t get a new one. I was still managing the broken piece, pending when I’ll get a new one. Anyway, 2 months ago, I got one, a life-sized one.
It was on a pleasant Friday noon, it had rained that morning, so the weather was cool, the smell of soft grasses, the bright coloured birds chirping in a nearby tree, oh, how marvellous the day looked. I decided to make stir-fry spaghetti with some air-fried chicken, but I had to go to the market first, because I lacked some items needed for the meal, especially the fresh vegetables, and what better day would it be to go to the market if not on a Friday? It was a 20-minute ride to the market, and I had written a list of everything I needed, so I bought them. I needed extra cash in hand for some snacks. I asked and was directed to an ATM just beside the ATM building. I saw a shop selling mirrors and other items. Well, it wasn’t in my list for the day, but I saw one. Life-sized, finished with some sort of wooden carvings, it was like an artwork, and I love artworks. In fact, you’ll see a few of them in my apartment, I mean, who doesn’t like good things, definitely not me. I went over and bargained the price with the seller, and how happy I was when we agreed on a price, I paid, and happily came home. I got to the gate, and guess who I met walking towards me, Nosy Peter, lord, I didn’t want to talk much with this guy, I am hungry. Luckily for me, he just said hello and admired the mirror; he even told me it looked out of this world, and wanted to know how much I got it and where exactly. Why is he always nosy? Anyway, I found a good spot for it in my bedroom, it was a piece of art, and I was proud. The few days I worked onsite and had to report to the office, I would dress smartly and admire myself in the mirror; at least it showed me head-to-toe artistically.
About a month later, I started feeling unwell, perhaps I was drained due to work, and would mostly forget a lot of things, but I came back home from work one evening to find my kitchen really cleaned and everything set appropriately. I always cleaned my kitchen, but this very cleaning was more than what I could do; well, I waved it off, because I thought it could have been me, and I forgot. A few days later, I discovered my tiny jewellery was missing, rings, neck chain, I wore them to work days before then, so it’s either I mistakenly dropped them, or someone stole them. My rings fit so well, so they wouldn’t have dropped. Someone was sneaking into my house to pick things, but my doors are usually properly locked, so maybe I dropped them somewhere. By the next morning, I saw a small grain of sand by my window; I probably didn’t clean there well enough the other day. I was becoming more stressed with my work. I even started to look old and drained whenever I looked in the mirror. I needed some time off, but my boss won't approve.
It wasn't until last week that I knew exactly what was happening. I was doing my weekend routine cleanup, i had cleaned the windows and doors properly, washed th kitchen and bathroom floors, discarded the refuse, cleaned all the furnitures, and was wiping the mirror, i mean my artistic mirror when i noticed very little words engraved at the lowe end, you cant even see it, until you get close, close enough to want to wipe clean that tiny difficult dirt. The letters written were LAK LAK LEMI MEKSA. Immediately I read it out, I felt numb, and it was as if my head was swelling up, and I was too weak and heavy to move, but I fell to the ground, and caught an instant fever. I took some Aspirin. I was dizzy and fell asleep.
It was dark when I woke up, so I went to the kitchen to microwave just any available meal I had. That was when I saw her, yes, it's a she. She walked towards me and said ‘Thank you for bringing me here’, How? I don't even know her. She was beautiful, she looked me in the eyes, caressed my face and held my throat, she was going to suffocate me, I tried fighting back, but I couldn’t, she overpowered me, that’s when I woke up. That means I was dreaming. Immediately, I woke up, opened my eyes, and she was there, staring at me. She said…

I was told by people in Brazil that you could send your money straight from Brazil banks to Nigerian bank.
Alright, that's great a friend told me they go to some malls and send direct to your Nigerian account.
Thank you

The system isn't bad because I'm in the system maybe it's the people that you meet are bad. Since it's FCTA, that's where I work. I can be of assistance as it's my office that process burial expenses.

Send me a DM, let's take it up from there. I will give you my contact and tell you my office room number so you come and meet me.
Thanks so much ma'am, I truly appreciate, I've sent you a mail, please acknowledge.

Sorry for the loss of your father, may God rest his soul. On this issue you have presented, the payment for burial expenses is not usually an immediate payments reason being that the file will go through different channels within the organisation he died and it's usually processed by the next of kin of the deceased. I think you people should be doing follow up to know where the file has reached, once it has gotten to accounts/treasury department the money will be paid. And once the money has been paid, the next of kin will apply for terminal benefits just the way she applied for burial expenses. And to my own understanding, we ask for letter of administration if the deceased next of kin is different from the one on the record of service.

I wish you all the best
This is where I'm at since March, yet nothing.. I have every single document needed, I never knew it'll take this long... Sha, I've left it to face my business, imagine going to FCTA almost every week, spending money, yet 1kobo has not dropped.. The system is really bad
