Amaechi has no blames. Because the legislature making noise now initially scrutinized the loan before the approval. Why didn't they raise this issue at that initial stage.

Also, the loan was signed by the Minister of finance on behalf of the Nigerian government.

All Amaechi did was to implement the rail revolution. Besides if we don't default on the loans, then we have nothing to fear. Nigerians have cultivated a culture of not keeping to their loan obligations else why would repayment be a source of concern. If you must plan to borrow, you must also plan to repay.

The Chairman of the committee is alleging they deliberately omitted the clause in the initial documents sent to them for vetting.
I appreciate the rail revolution Amaechi is implementing. My only pain is that the rail sector he’s coordinating, whose Ministry benefitted from the loan, can’t even assure us that they can repay the loan within the stipulated time. Why should a Ministry source for loan it cannot pay?

You want us to believe the decision to exclude Nigeria was based on health, when over 80% of Countries on the list of those allowed into Europe have more recorded cases and death than Nigeria.

Stop sounding like you’re being careful all in the bid to hide your cluelessness. Nigeria has far less reported cases than most of the Western countries where football matches are being played. Early part of the year, when most of these countries were struggling with containing the virus, we still had zero reported case in Nigeria. We had every opportunity to reduce the impact of this Pandemic on our Economy and Nation. Nations that were caught off-guard have found a way to bounce back. They’ve opened up schools, business and other social and religious gathering, while we're still going back and forth with the ever docile PTF. Let me agree that GEJ was clueless, but he listened to wise counsels. We have a President that is both clueless and nonchalant.

Covid-19 is sweeping through the World and the United States is feeling its effects. Domestic and global travel routes have been placed on lockdown globally, and US President Donald Trump recently decided unilaterally to suspend travel from Europe.
Yes, every country has been stretched. This is clearly not easy. Italy, Iran, France, Spain, the UK have all been hit hard and struggled to rise to the challenge of this pandemic.
But America is meant to be different. How often do we hear people say this is the strongest country in the world? It's a feeling that produced a sense of invulnerability.
Doctors are terrified. They know America's hospitals are about to be hit by a tsunami of infected patients and they don't have enough beds or ventilators to treat them. They don't even have basic protective gear to keep their staff healthy.
Has America ever been this humbled?

During the recent State Broadcast by Rivers State Governor, Barr. Nyesom Wike, he directed the his Commissioner to round up and deport all Vagrants(Almajiri’s)in the State.

Most private schools in Rivers State have sent memos to parents and guardians, expecting them to pay complete tuition for their wards. After incurring huge running cost to set up effective online platforms(Laptop, data, fuel...) for their wards, and also serving as minders, Parents are still expected to pay complete tuition fee. We’re doomed as a Nation! Every institution is greedy and fantastically corrupt. No private school should demand more than 20% of their original school fees for the current academic session, or they should remain shut down. After all, most parents have made little or nothing during this lockdown.

During the State broadcast yesterday, Governor Wike sent a message to FGN and various unions threatening to embark on strike that Rivers State was founded on the premise of war. He warned them that he enjoys fighting and that fight has been in his blood.
