SOMETIMES IT HAS TO GET WORST TO GET BETTER
Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

In my little experience in life so far, one thing I have learnt is that most often, tough times precede change of status for better. And just as in the popular saying, tough time never lasts indeed, tough people do.

And, if there are features we possess as a people, they are that we are tough and resilient (bar the fact that we have taken it to the extreme, smiling in the midst of sufferings, allowing ourselves to be afflicted the more by our leaders). However, notwithstanding our being extremists as far as toughness and resilience are concerned, there is hope of a better tomorrow for us both as people and country as a whole.

Considering how seedlings have to rotten in the soil before they can germinate and bring forth fruit in due time, most times, things must get worst before they get better. By rational thinking, whenever anything gets decayed or rotten, it is expected to get spoilt and be of no use, value or benefit anymore. However, it is at that moment of hopelessness that nature permits a seed planted to bring forth life. How wonderful!

It is therefore 'good' that Nigeria is rotten right now. Our being at this lowest state ever, is a pointer that we will blossom sooner than later. Yes, it is true that the present state of the Nigeria State is nothing to write home about and in fact, an apology, but tell it to the world that we shouldn't be mocked, Nigeria's new Dawn Era beckons.

The life of the Japanese bamboo tree is enough reasons to know that Nigeria has more than just glimpse of hope. The Japanese bamboo would not grow beyond 2fts between its time of planting and four years, but would get as tall as 90fts in the fifth year. A whole 4400% increase in just one year! Interesting, isn't it?

Nigeria may be a crawling giant at 58 years old, but that does not mean she will remain the same till her 60th or 70th birthday. She may (not minding fact) become a country to reckon with in all ramifications of life before her 65th independence celebration. What I am driving at is that, our present status is not a decider of what our future would be. Our background cannot determine our future.

However, there are things to do for us to get to our Dreamland. There are steps and actions to take. There are habits to let go of. There are those to get rid of. There are attributes to let go of. There are attitudes to imbibe. And of all things that must be gotten rid of is, GULLIBILITY.

When Nigerians get rid of gullibility, they would in turn get rid of bad leadership. They would then not be easily decieved by greedy politicians neither would they be manipulated so cheaply by a generation of looters cum dealers who have no love whatsoever for the masses.

As expected, the Nigerian people may not get it right in 2019, we may as well not get it right even after then, but, one thing is sure; by the time we get it right as a people, our growth and development will be so rapid that, those who have gone ahead of us would feel threatened by our success. I'm sure or this because we are an excellent people. Plus, our rottenness and decadence is towards the springing forth of a new dawn era.

Good bless Nigeria and her loving people.

PoliticsHappy Independence Day To Nigeria by SharpmindsAC(op): 2:14am On Oct 01, 2018
In contributing my own quota to making our country a better place, I wrote a book; "Nigeria 2019: Sell Your Worth Not Your Vote" to sensitize the people on the need to shun election malpractices especially, vote Selling/Buying...

Free and fair electoral conduct is something we are all familiar with and often hear
about; however, have we even comprehended its true meaning: its deeper meanings, its
real conducive elements, and the functions it should serve? Presently, various sections of
the society have taken up the call for free and fair elections and clean electoral practices.
But the imperative question to ask is: Will the people accept it? Will the people really
change?

With the recent, embarrassing vote buying/selling practiced by politicians and voters
alike, it is imperative that voters’ awareness is intensified on, to:
- Awaken the people and make them realize that they are at the receiving end of these
bargains and transactions,
- Redefine values, self-worth and morals as vote selling/buying simply highlights a
decline in the aforementioned,
- Reorient the people to know that they are the backbone of democracy and, the essence
of government is to serve them; hence, whoever means well for them should not lure
them with money to serve them, knowing fully well that service is not pleasure,
- Make voters get angry with all forms of election malpractices and determine to take a
new turn towards development and growth,
- Provide voters with alternatives available to them as against being limited to choosing
between the two ruling parties who have been in the helms of affairs in Nigeria for
about 20 years now with little or no improvements in the country’s development, and
no hope of a better future in view should either retain power in 2019.

PoliticsA Generation Of The Undead, Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa by SharpmindsAC(op): 9:37am On Sep 29, 2018
UNDEAD
Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa
29th September

"Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, living in a 'god-damned' place like Nigeria, I fear no evil; Lord, Your Rod and Staff comfort me always."

Haven grown-up in Nigeria as an ordinary citizen, I've seen it all; the bad, the ugly and the worst! I have not been opportune to witness a sanitized system where things work so far. Apart from structural/infrastructural inadequacies/inequalities that ensure that I dream against dream and hope against hope with very little to show for it, there are also other numerous limiting factors militating against achieving my set goals.

However, mine may be a better story compared to million others who are brainwashed to believing that hard work still equal success. The age-long lie that education is the key to success still ever active and fresh in their inner-mind; a source of motivation for them to get good grades in their studies with the hope of securing great job offers after school. Little do they know that there are a lot with first class results yet stranded after leaving school, all having their wits dulled not because they are not smart enough as often thought by those trailing them, but because the system has been programmed to make them fail.

Talents without opportunity to showcase it is totally useless. Here in my country, a fresh graduate is expected to have 5 years experience. I and others like me are actually not asking for luxuries nor do we want too much, we only crave to live as human beings in a society that works, a place where we can dream and bring such dream to reality. It is not that we cannot get to drive SUVs and go to ivy league schools, the problem is that a set of people have converted our commonwealth for their personal greed.

*29th of September* being my birthday should be a day of joy for me. I really want to rejoice; throw a party and give myself a treat, but can I? I mean, how can I party when I know that my country is in shambles? Presently, workers are on a Nationwide industrial strike because the government won't increase their minimum wage from $38/month whereas politicians live lives of decadence. It is annoying and pathetic to know that it will take a Swiss worker just lesser than four months to achieve what a Nigerian worker will spend an entire career of 35years to get.

Can I go ahead to celebrate my day in the same country where just yesterday innocent souls were massacred in Jos? Among them were young fellows who should resume school this Monday. Young Nigerians that had dreams of greatness. They were butchered! Their sin was being Nigerians! Worst still, the presidency haven't acknowledged the incident yet, not to talk of condoling with families of those affected. Buhari was in USA busy rallying support of Nigerians based in America for his second term ambition. I guess the fellow who said the opposite of love isn't hate is right, it's actually indifference indeed!

I too wonder how I am not carried away by 'hustling' for survival - an activity which has engulfed virtually everyone else to the point that they forget all other things but survival. And according to the plans of the microscopic few who have made a project our present situation - the people's impovrishment, everyone else apart from them is supposed to be busy struggling to survive while they keep enjoying their spoils haven conquered the land. But, because I've taken it upon myself to be concerned I'm here today, privileged to Know what many others do not know. And as a friend once called me, I am an *undead* because as much as the 'power that be' try to bend everyone else, I remain adamant and, unbendable!

It is in this light that deem it fit to give Nigerians access to 2 of my books - "At This Point In Time (AT PIT)" & "Nigeria2019: Sell Your worth Not Your Vote". These two books contain information on how Nigerians can achieve a country of their dream by taking responsibilities. Below however are download links to these books, some of my audio messages and songs, videos of my messages and songs. Do ensure you digest these and extend the gesture to others just as I have freely given you today. Enjoy!

PoliticsNigerians Are Ingrates Who Cannot Sacrifice For Their Country, Buharists by SharpmindsAC(op): 11:09am On Sep 14, 2018
Nigerians Must Learn How To Sacrifice

Buhari's apologists are still of the opinion that after three and half years of running down the country, Nigerians should understand that the reason for their failure is because of the previous governments. They are even of the opinion that Nigerians need to learn how to sacrifice for their dear country. By sacrifice, they actually mean even when Nigerians cannot find anything to eat because of inflation and devalued naira, they are to accept the status quo and probably expect the worst because the APC government is working!
Hail Hitler, I mean Buhari!

PoliticsMeet Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa; Aspirant, House Of Rep, Ekiti South Fed. Con II by SharpmindsAC(op): 4:18am On Sep 06, 2018
A BRIEF ABOUT OLANREWAJU OJUOLUWA; ASPIRANT, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES (EKITI SOUTH FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY II) UNDER INDEPENDENT DEMOCRATS - I.D.

Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa was born into the family of Pastor and Deaconess Ojuoluwa B.J. around three decades ago in Omuo-Ekiti, Ekiti State. He attended Methodist Primary school, Ilumoba, Ikere-Ekiti and later completed his Secondary School education in Obada High School, Ise-Ekiti. He studied Mass Communications at the renowned University of Jos, Plateau State.

Sharpminds, as he is fondly called is a Youth Advocate and Social Reformer. An arrowhead in the ongoing youth sociopolitical Revolution in Nigeria, he works vigorously to ensure that there is a generational power shift to reasonably competent YOUTHS across all spheres of life especially, political leadership. To this, he has committed his whole being, with a practical glaring support he is throwing behind young aspirants vying for various political offices across the country, the recent being the just concluded gubernatorial election in Ekiti State where he headed the Campaign Group for Tosin Emmanuel Ajibare, a 36 year old, fielded by Ekiti youths for the post of Executive Governor of Ekiti State in the July 14th, 2018 gubernatorial election - a fit Nigerian youths are emulating towards the 2019 general elections.

On Civic Engagement, he is the convener of #TooRichToSuffer Campaign. The very deliberate purpose of the #TooRichToSuffer campaign is to trigger the kind of effective public dialogue that can build political buy-in for a 'root and branch' reform of public financial management at the minimum, or (if possible) a full scale constitutional dialogue that pioneers issues referendum in Nigeria. He is of the opinion that, just as the #NotTooYoungToRun bill which got passed to law recently, Nigerians should also push for a #TooRichToSuffer policy that mandates a higher percentage of the revenues generated to be for human capital development, cut government excesses and have good savings and stabilization mechanism.

Prior to his present engagements however, he has been involved in various selfless services for the betterment of humanity. Some of the NGOs and NPOs he's worked with and still working with include: Movement for Development of Youths and Children (MDYC); a Youth Advocacy Movement, Real Sharpminds Global Network; an Awareness Campaign and Sensitization Platform, Joint Council of Ekiti Youths (JCEY); the umbrella body of all youth organizations in Ekiti State and, Tosin Emmanuel Ajibare Movement; a Sociopolitical Platform for the enthronement of Youths into political leadership.

Away from volunteering, he also had stints with a handful of firms, doing what he knows how to do best - serving. Some of these firms include: Swiss Biostadt Company, Sence Agric, TowerTech Communications, FAAN, Sushan Group of Companies and, Fellar Automobiles.

Furthermore, Olanrewaju is a seasoned writer, musician and poet. He has had some of his articles published in both local and foreign platforms and, dailies. He recently reached a milestone as one of his articles (Apology) was read in a national conference.

He has also authored some books:
- Chronicles of Ekiti Politics
- Journey To Liberation
- Awakening the Resolute Might of the Youths (ARMY)
- Enough!
- Revolution
- At This Point In Time (AT~PIT)

These among many others are some of his songs:
"Rara, Ko Jo! (Never, Not Anymore!)" - A revolutionary theme song, "Go4Gold", "Packaging", "Things Fall Apart", "Red Card", "Oko Iya Won", "Kaya Pada", "Boju Wole" and, "Wave The Flag".

Note: You can download these tracks online by searching for any of them. Also, their videos are also available on YouTube.

He is married to his amiable wife, Tayelolu and, they are blessed.

PoliticsVote Buying Is Invalid Without Vote Selling, Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa by SharpmindsAC(op): 11:21am On Aug 27, 2018
"A transaction can only take place between two or more parties, hence, vote buying is impossible without vote selling. Therefore, if vote buying is supposedly criminal, then, vote selling is worst and, perpetrators should be brought to book; because a person who sells him/herself for stipends can do worst to others... Such can also be involved in the most unimaginable atrocities ever, even to the point of killing!"

Truth be told, anyone who sells his/her vote is a corrupt person and must be treated as a criminal... It is no secret that this present breed of greedy leaders have weaponized poverty, yet, that is not enough reason why we should lose our values as a people...

PoliticsNigeria Need People Oriented Policies To Survive, Ojuoluwa Runs For House Of Rep by SharpmindsAC(op): 8:46am On Aug 11, 2018
OJUOLUWA 2019: ADVOCACY 101

"The failures of the previous generation coupled with the misgovernment and mismanagement of this present breed of politicians is an opportunity for my generation..."

It is not enough to advocate for a better society (especially when the actors don't have the political will to make it a better place), it is also important that people like me take it a step further by getting involved.

Moreover, it is time for new set of God fearing leaders to emerge from within the people. Remember, it is not for us if it is not by us.

There are just two options for this present breed of failing leaders: either they flip to the other side of success by changing from their evil ways, or they keep on failing to the point that they sting themselves to death - a fit which is eminent with the recent show(s) of shame!

Nigeria Needs 2 Policies Urgently to Survive

#TooRichToSuffer (that mandates a higher percentage of the revenues made by government to be used for human capital development, cut government excesses and provide a savings and stabilization mechanism...

#HangTheThief (that mandates that anyone cut in corruption be hanged to death and all his/her crookedly accrued wealth confiscated by the government)

These looters won't pass bills like these to law, hence, the need for like minds to arise to the occasion and run for office. A tree cannot make a forest. I cannot do this alone. We all must come together and rescue Nigeria at this point in time.

I am Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa, an Independent Democrat, Youth Advocate and Social Reformer. I'm running for House of Representatives, Ekiti South Federal Constituency II. I need your support to achieve this.
Thanks!

PoliticsDo Not Increase States' Monthly Allocations, Ojuoluwa Warns FG by SharpmindsAC(op): 5:34am On Aug 07, 2018
INCREASING STATE'S MONTHLY ALLOCATION WILL NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM (A CASE STUDY OF BAYELSA STATE)

Bayelsa State receives the fourth largest additional thirteen percent of oil revenue based on the constitutionally guaranteed derivation principle. It may well have received more than N1Trillion Naira of aggregate oil revenue share since June 1999 fromt the Federation Account according to the Ministry of Finance's published revenue distribution to the thirty-six states.

The appalling physical, human and social conditions of the people of Bayelsa even after a significant slice of the oil rent reaches their subnational government from the common revenue pool, lends credence to the fact that poor governance of oil revenue has similar impact at all levels. "Where did all the oil money go?"

INTRODUCING #TOORICHTOSUFFER; THE SOLUTION TO NIGERIA'S PROBLEM
The very deliberate purpose of the #TooRichToSuffer campaign is to trigger the kind of effective public dialogue that can build political buy-in for a 'root and branch' reform of public financial management at the minimum, or (if possible) a full scale constitutional dialogue that pioneers issues referendum in Nigeria.

Therefore, just like the #NotTooYoungToRun bill that got passed to law recently, Nigerians can push for a #TooRichToSuffer policy that mandates a higher percentage of the revenues generated to be for human capital development, cutting government excesses and having good savings and stabilization mechanism.

Nigeria's oil exploitation is expected to end by year 2055. And with the current culture of corruption and mismanagement, there are no savings for the present, not to talk of the future, a pathetic situation gifted us by bad leadership.

CONSENSUS: NIGERIANS SHOULD MAKE A COLLECTIVE DECISION TO PUSH #TooRichToSuffer until it makes the policy makers uncomfortable, thereby 'forcing' them to make people oriented policies. Nigeria runs the most expensive government in the world; has the highest paid political office holders yet, has the poorest people on earth.

Let the monies generated from oil be used for real development of Nigerians and not solely on running A GOVERNMENT OF EXCESSES!

Public offices are for service, hence, it shouldn't be 'lucrative'!

PoliticsNigeria's Oil Exploitation Ends In Year 2055, Ojuoluwa Calls For Caution by SharpmindsAC(op): 10:13am On Aug 06, 2018
WHO OIL DON HELP FOR NAIJA!

A COUNTRY NOT NIGERIA
Norway serves as an example to Nigeria regarding an effective savings and stabilization mechanism. By May 2018, Norway’s sovereign wealth fund, established in 1990, had accumulated approximately one trillion dollars. It is projected that by 2030, the fund will have increased to three times its current size. This will ensure a monthly income of $1,500 (N547,500 per month) per Norwegian.

A COUNTRY CALLED NIGERIA
Poor management, bad leadership and a 'spend-it-all' culture has turned oil to a curse for Nigeria with more than 83 million Nigerians living below poverty line and an alarming rate of 6 people getting poorer per minute. Nigeria has made over one trillion dollars ($1tr) in oil, a fit that has not translated into any reasonable development; no working health system, and, power supply is still epileptic as ever!

Nigeria's oil exploitation is expected to end by year 2055. And with the current culture of corruption and mismanagement, there are no savings for the present, not to talk of the future, a pathetic situation gifted us by bad leadership.

PoliticsNigeria: Big Revenue, Poor People -Ojuoluwa Advocates For People Oriented Policy by SharpmindsAC(op):
#TooRichToSuffer

"We cannot afford to continue using revenues generated from oil to run the Nigerian government at the expense of the Nigerian people." - #TooRichToSuffer

"Nigeria has made over $1trillion on oil since 1970 but cannot boast of a working health system or stable power supply" - #TooRichToSuffer

"With less than 40 years left on oil exploitation, Nigeria has no reasonable savings for the present not to talk of the future" - #TooRichToSuffer

"About 6 Nigerians become poor every minute and, more than 83million Nigerians are living below the poverty line according to statistics." -#TooRichToSuffer

"Nigeria runs the most expensive government in the world but has the pooreset people in the world." - #TooRichToSuffer

"Nigeria has the highest paid political office holders but the least paid civil servants in the world" - #TooRichToSuffer

"Nigeria government invest a fortune on elections but rather than invest in, see education as a means of generating income" - #TooRichToSuffer

Nigeria needs to reform its public finance management if it is to translate substantial oil wealth into equitable economic benefits for its citizens. Despite earning over one trillion dollars from oil since 1970, there are more Nigerians living in poverty than any other country in the world. According to the Brookings Institute, approximately 83.6 million people in Nigeria (estimated 43%) live in extreme poverty. Nigeria requires improved legal, policy and advocacy frameworks for the Excess Crude Account (ECA) and other Stabilization Funds to be more effective and beneficial to citizens. Importantly, every Nigerian has a responsibility to engage Government (at all levels) on this.

You're hereby enjoined to join the discussion and add your voice to the subject matter as citizens push to create public awareness. The very deliberate purpose of this awareness campaign would be to trigger the kind of effective public dialogue that can build political buy-in for a 'root and branch' reform of public financial management at the minimum, or (if possible) a full scale constitutional dialogue that pioneers issues referendum in Nigeria.

PoliticsIt Is Not Normal by SharpmindsAC(op): 7:53am On Jul 25, 2018
IT IS NOT NORMAL!
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

"Rulers used to honourably vacate their thrones and, willfully end their own lives when they failed the people in time past; those were the days when men were noble!"

The heart of man is desperately wicked says the Holy Book. One may have to wonder how sophisticated the minds of the manufacturers of these deadly weapons of destruction must be. Weapons meant to annihilate fellow human lives. Weapons that cause excruciating pains to their victims. Weapons that cause everlasting damages. Deadly weapons that cause children to become orphans; wives to become widows and, parents to become helpless.

Naturally, evil is recalcitrant. An iota of it when allowed or permitted to stay would multiply and become rooted. Hence, the society is at risk when evil is (at all) accepted and/or accommodated because it will not only take its toll on the people, it will also become a norm that may no longer be repelled.

How in our widest dreams/nightmares would we have ever imagined that a time (like this) would come when explosions and bombings (which are occurrences we used to see only on TV screens: in action movies and news about Pakistan/Iraq war years before now) would become a part of our daily living in this part of the world such that, just as it was rampant over there then, so also is it now down here. It has gotten so bad that whenever reports of bombings and attacks are heard, all that follow is saddening number of human casualties.

Until our recent evolution cum civilisation, we were a community of people. Community in the sense that, even in the seemingly urban centres then, we cared for, and loved one another. Then, when a member of the community (either young or old) dies, we all come together to mourn and celebrate the life of such as occasion serves. Then, we so much valued human lives that, the death of just one person in a typical community in those days would cause all to mourn for days. Mind you, the importance placed on the deceased is not because s/he is the community head but, because every life was seen as a potential destiny. Then, even when the deities demanded human sacrifices, strangers, and not natives, used to fall victim of such as against what is obtainable now - a ti ñ fi omo orè bo orè (even the son of Orè the deity is now being used to appease him on the altar of sacrifice).

Now, I begin to imagine the agonies of my northern brothers and sisters. The shock of being awoken suddenly in the middle of the night, confused about where to start from in the amidst of sporadic gunshots, raging blades of daggers/cutlasses already being used on others (human fleshes) and fierce fire burning houses and other valuable properties all around them in the blink of an eye. Imbroglio, no doubt! How those 'fortunate' enough not to be 'part of the casualties' would have later learnt that, of the 9 family members s/he slept with (together in the same house) hours ago, only s/he, who managed to crawl away and fake death (with an amputated leg already) survived, and, a total of 200+ died in the course of the 'attack'. What Wickedness! What Nonsense! Because of cow? How can the value of a cow be more than that of a human being? These imbeciles suffering from ocunasal must be dealt with!

Can you just imagine, they say we are not at war, but more than 200 people can die overnight on a daily basis without recourse or the least bit of concern from a government that has shown to the world over and over again the highest level of irresponsibility that ever can be, thereby making itself a model of embarrassment and disgrace.

American President, Donald Trump said and I quote, "...it was BOKO-HARAM, now it's herdsmen, I'm just wondering why Buhari hasn't done anything about the killings... There's no suspect, no arrest has been made!" Before him, former President Barack Obama personally got curious about the kidnapping of the over 200 CHIBOK GIRLS. We are gradually becoming an epitome of scorn and reproach in the league of countries, little wonder Trump keep emphasising on the need for us to be recolonized. Embarrassing, isn't it?

On several occasions, our GCFR would intentionally leave Nigeria for foreign lands (for whatever 'unreasonable' reasons) in the midst of such massacres such as the recent one in Plateau State whereas, responsible leaders of working countries would postpone journeys and, leave 'important' meetings/conferences to empathize with victims of 'mere' natural disasters that have no culprits, and set all concerned agencies on their toes for actions to improve the situation. Talk much more of when such disaster is an act of insurgency or terrorism, such responsible leaders who understand that the people's welfare is their topmost priorities would lead the charge to bring to book the perpetrators. Such is the story of responsible leaders and working countries in contrast to ours.

Come to think of it, Fulani herdsmen that we used to know only carry sticks. Sticks meant to flog and control cows. How come they now carry AK 47s and other sophisticated weapons? How do 'stack illiterates' understand so perfectly how to operate these weapons to the point of mastery that even soldiers cannot face them in fierce battle? Who are their sponsors? Were these weapons smuggled into Nigeria? Or were they ordered alongside arms meant for the Nigerian Army? Isn't the Nigerian Custom compromised already? Aren't there moles in the Nigerian Army? Are these terrorists really herdsmen or are they just camouflaging? Isn't it vivid that the only reason they come in as nomadic herdsmen is to have an excuse to be present in the area they intend to wrought their mayhem? Isn't it vivid that these insurgents have the backing of powers in high authority?

How did we get here? While men slept, the enemy came and sowed tares... We simply slept! There was a time in this country when all you need to do to become successful in life is to get educated! Community members practically contributed monies together to send their ward to school and such would have offers waiting for him/her even before graduation. Then, a time came when all these fizzled away to the point that graduates become stranded even after their service year and have to return home to their parents such that, the same parents that sponsored the child through school would also be the one responsible for the grandchild's education because the young adult is incapacitated.

Now, I'm afraid. I'm afraid because, we are a selfish people. We successfully allowed evil to dwell with us the moment we started our stupid unhealthy competitions of 'I pass my neighbour' and, 'minding our own businesses. These whole mess started when we started caring less about others but ourselves alone! If we as a people could be so careless to let go of our state of comfort and prosperity, to the point that we are where we are now, then it is an easier task for us to trade our 'peace' with crisis and incessant killings all over the place for we are a careless people! I say this because I know our 'I don't Care attitudes', because it is still in the North and the middle belt for now, most of us here in the south see these attacks as being alien and far away as though those affected are not fellow countrymen especially, when it is an obvious attack on the Christian folds.

You know, when an 'unknown' corpse is being carried away, to the neutral observer, it is like mere wood; it however becomes the remains of a person when it is more personal. Food for thought!

Yes, it is true that there are countries passing through hard times, but, there are also countries enjoying relative peace and prosperity. You're right if you say, this is the sign of the end time, but, I must ask you why we are fast tracking ours because according to what I read and understand about the end time, it is going to be in uniformity, hence, what we are passing through now should be same as what Australia or New Zealand or Singapore or China or any of these booming nations also pass through. Therefore, it is not the sign of end time, it is the sign of permitted evil due to carelessness and selfishness.

As far as I am concerned, the 24/7 deflection from APC to PDP is still about the looters who have no love whatsoever for the masses. Hence, we must not be carried away by their show of shame, rather, we should see it as prayer answered to weaken this present breed of dealers cum leaders, thereby bringing their reign to a halt. And, the beginning of a new dawn that will pave the way for new breed of God fearing LEADERS who will have the love of the people at heart and, bring about rapid development to our dear country. This, we deserve and crave for.

And, until we return to our Creator in reconciliation, taking necessary actions against evil in our land, then can we enjoy life as normal citizens in a working country again. Our present situation however IS NOT NORMAL

I am Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa, Youth Advocate and Social Reformer. I am part of an army of dissenters who hate evil and it's perpetrators with perfect hatred. I may not know much, but I am sure that sooner than later, Nigeria and Africa will be fixed for good!

PoliticsI Have A Mission To Liberate Ekiti State From Parasitic Leaders, Tosin Ajibare by SharpmindsAC(op): 7:36am On Jul 03, 2018
OUR MISSION
Ekiti2018: 11 DAYS TO GO...

1. To liberate Ekiti from parasitic leaders.
2. To usher in a new generation of leaders that fear God and respect the people.
3. To run a government where the lost hope of the younger generation is restored and fears of the older generation is erased.
4. To create wealth and development through massive investment in our people.

"Poverty, unemployment and hunger are no accident, they are man made and can be sacked by actions of men."
#Ekiti2018_Go4Gold

In changing the narratives for ourselves, we choose US to lead US. Rather than keep begging these greedy politicians to help solve the problems they have intentionally created for us to keep us in perpetual poverty and incapacitated, we (Ekiti Youths) have taken it upon ourselves to take responsibility and go fix our problems ourselves. No more shall we wait on parasitic leaders who have no values for us whatsoever. We will vote Tosin Emmanuel Ajibare as Governor of Ekiti State come July 14, 2018.

WE SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH TO:
Reign of Terror and Tyranny
The Era of Looters and Marauders
Unemployment and Underdevelopment
Dealership of Polithievians
Sufferings and Afflictions
Hunger and Poverty
Manipulations and Mediocrity
Untimely Deaths and Insecurity
Broad Daylight Robberies
Lack and Want
Backwardness and Darkness
Low Standard of Living and High Cost of Living

It is the time of LIBERATION!
That point in which our people shall be free from the entanglement of cabals who have sworn to make life unbearable for them. An end to the class of opportunists who see the existence of the people solely for their enthronement and nothing else. They have proven over time that they have no values for the people than for them to vote them (politicians) into office...

We have been begging them to fulfill their campaign promises. We have been begging them to provide jobs for the YOUTHS, pay salaries for the workers, pay pensions and gratuity of our Parents, provide enabling environment for entrepreneurs, but, our pleas have fallen on deaf ears. Now, they shouldn't bother anymore, we will go there and fix our problems ourselves!

Vote Independent Democrats for Good Governance...
Vote Tosin Ajibare for Better Life...

WE ARE RIGHT ON TOP! YES, THE NUMBER ONE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BALLOT PAPER... OUR SYMBOL IS A RUNNING TAP ON BLACK, YELLOW AND GREEN BACKGROUND... WE ARE INDEPENDENT DEMOCRATS

PoliticsTosin Ajibare Homecoming Rally Was A Bomb by SharpmindsAC(op): 5:22am On Jun 14, 2018
TOSIN AJIBARE'S HISTORIC PRAYER

"Father Lord, Creator of Heaven and Earth, Creator of Mankind and all that is and is to be, as we step out today to commence the Revolution Tour, I ask that you strengthen the people to be able to throw off Every masochistic tendencies and as such rid themselves of the weight of oppression and the chain of parasitic leadership, seeing we can only lead the charge but the total and definite freedom of the people can only be taken by they themselves.

"Never in the history of the world has the oppressor willingly given freedom to the oppressed, it is always taken by the oppressed through collective effort.

"I ask that you make the people realize that the Greek gift and flamboyance of our political Titans is a psychological tool to keep them in perpetual servitude and fear of the Oligarchs machine.

"Finally O Lord, it is you that Crown Kings, We ask that you Crown our Efforts with Success, so that we can be that ray of hope and the possibility of liberation to all Nigerians both home and abroad, so help us Lord."

Amen.

Those were the prayers of Tosin Ajibare in the morning of Wednesday 13-06-2018 a historic eventful day for the Ekiti Youths Sociopolitical Revolution in which the Campaign train officially entered Ikere-Ekiti, the home town of Tosin Ajibare (Gold).

Series of events unfolded as the campaign train left Ado-Ekiti for Ikere-Ekiti. Various places were visited to make the day. The palace of the Ogoga of Ikere-Ekiti, the Ikere Town Hall meeting of the "VOTEnotFIGHT" campaign (the South senatorial zone), some artisan groups in Ikere-Ekiti, the Ajibare family (welcoming)...

The people are overwhelmed as the Revolution train engaged them in a house to house campaign. They are glad to associate with the true son of the soil and the real Ikere agenda worth engaging in. The Royal father blessed Tosin expressing his delight that such good and incredible young man as he is from Ikere-Ekiti.

We return all the Glory to God whom leads us all the way. Of a truth, God is set to free the people of sufferings and afflictions imposed upon them by slave-masters

PoliticsTosin Ajibare Signs Agreement Of Peace With Ekiti People Towards July 14 Guber by SharpmindsAC(op): 5:08am On Jun 12, 2018
"OUR REVOLUTION HAS PUT AN END TO THE 'YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN POLITICS' GIMMICK WHICH ONLY STOPS AT YOUTHS BEING USED FOR ELECTIONS/CAMPAIGNS AND DUMPED AFTER ALL. THE EVER FRAUDULENT PROMISE OF 'YOUTH INCLUSIVENESS IN GOVERNANCE' IS NO MORE VALID AS WE NOW DISCUSS YOUTH TAKEOVER." - TOSIN AJIBARE (GOLD) THE FACE OF EKITI YOUTHS SOCIOPOLITICAL REVOLUTION SPEAKING AT THE "VOTEnotFIGHT CAMPAIGN" TOWN HALL MEETING HELD ON 11TH JUNE 2018 IN IDO-EKITI (NORTH SENATORIAL ZONE).

TOSIN AJIBARE WAS THE ONLY GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE WHO HONOURED THE INVITATION OF THE ORGANIZERS (USAID, UKAID, THE 2BABA FOUNDATION, NDI, NIGAWD, YDI, DFID) WHICH IS A POINTER THAT HE HAS DISTINGUISHED HIMSELF AS A LEADER TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM THE EXISTING BREED OF POLITICIANS WHO ALWAYS AVOID 'CONFRONTATION' BY ELECTORATES BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER THAN JAMBOREES AND SHOW BIZ RATHER THAN LETTING THE PEOPLE KNOW THEIR PLANS FOR THEM.

TOSIN AJIBARE SIGNED AN "AGREEMENT OF PEACE" WHICH WAS PREPARED FOR ALL GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATES IN EKITI STATE BY THE ORGANIZERS TO SHOW HIS COMMITMENT TO PEACEFUL CONDUCT OF THE ELECTION IN EKITI STATE BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER JULY 14TH.

PoliticsEkiti Guber: ID Candidate Picks Young Economist As Running Mate by SharpmindsAC(op): 3:29am On May 17, 2018
14/05/2018
Olabode Samuel
Ado-Ekiti

Mr. Tosin Ajibare, the Independent Democrats (ID) candidate for the Ekiti July 14 governorship election, has picked Alhaji Sikiru Olowoyo as his running mate.

Olowoyo, a 35-year old Agric Economist and Farm Manager hails from Ado-Ekiti, Ado LG in Ekiti central senatorial district.

Ajibare said at a news conference in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday that his choice of deputy was informed by the need to give competent professionals a voice in the governance of the state, Olowoyo having been in the state civil service prior to him being called to serve.

He described Olowoyo as an accomplished professional who has proven himself beyond doubt, adding that he has what it takes to make informed decisions that would positively impact on the growth and development of Ekiti State.

In his speech, Olowoyo said that it was an honour for him to be a running mate to Mr. Tosin Ajibare who is the face of Ekiti Youths Sociopolitical Revolution.

He said that he became a member of ID because its philosophy was in consonance with his, which accommodates the interest of the masses.

“I see this choice as an opportunity to serve the people and I am poised to make sure all the civil servants and faithful Muslims in Ekiti state rally round ID because they are my people.

“ID has the best hands that will move the state to greater height,” he said.

In his remark, Mr. Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa, Publicity Secretary of Tosin Emmanuel Ajibare Movement, said the party was gunning for the Ekiti governorship because of leadership vacuum in the state.

Ojuoluwa urged the Ekiti people to support the party because Ajibare would ensure the wellbeing of everyone in the state.

PoliticsAjibare Dedicates Success To Ekiti People, Promises To Lead Them All The Way by SharpmindsAC(op): 9:00am On May 16, 2018
DEDICATION OF SEMI FINAL RESULTS OF EKITI2018 GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION TO MY DEAR EKITI YOUTHS AND ELDERS
(Tosin Ajibare Gold)

I dedicate our success so far in the youth revolution to all Ekiti people questing for a progressive state, a saner society, a better and quality life.

When we started this youth revolution some years ago, a lot of people felt it was an insurmountable and impossible task, lots of people preferred pointing out the problems militating against the solution to our common problem rather than the solution to the said problems. despite all this, we braced ourselves and faced the odds because we knew it was our only way out of the present quagmire of bad leadership and its apparently attendant realities.

We knew nobody would save us other than ourselves and for this we threw our life on the line, our family, our businesses/jobs, our individual dreams and desire, we would prefer to go hungry in order to conduct the work of liberation and bit by bit we started chiseling at the impossibility mountain till we got to where we are today.

Every hurdle pointed out and un-pointed out we have overcome, even to protect the victorious outcome of the youth revolution from the most used cooked up litigation of the parasitic order, we have sacrificed credentials and personal pride (He that is down needs fear no fall).

At this junction we ask that you join hands with us, so that together we can rescue our state, our lives, our future and that of our children, both born and unborn from the parasites we call leaders.
As you can see, like always, they have given the people a choice between two evils, this is our time for liberation from them once and for all.

Let us make this a call to action and a call to duty.
Ekiti adara o. (Amin).

I am Tosin Ajibare the face of the youths and the hope of the people. By God, I will end the reign of greedy politicians who have no values for us and keep wasting us at our prime.

I am Tosin Ajibare Gold, that youth aspirant unanimously chosen by Ekiti Youths to lead them in a Sociopolitical Revolution. I am that who does not have money and has been running his campaign strategically and steadily without fail for the past three years.

PoliticsFayemi Is The Only Candidate Fayose Fears In APC, Tosin Ajibare by SharpmindsAC(op): 8:02pm On May 13, 2018
The Abroomtikect race of the 33 Generals:
A Lesson to all and sundry most especially Ekiti youths and the elites that want a better Ekiti.

By: Tosin Ajibare Gold

Firstly i want to salute all youths of my generation and the Elites who have been working assiduously and have been bursting brain for one or the other of the wannabe party candidates claiming gubernatorial aspirants, I understand your work has been done with intent for survival and a quest for a better Ekiti based on your opinion and knowledge base of the inner workings of the Nigerian Political System and to those who have suddenly become RONINS (a soldier with no master) even when the battle is yet to begin, I grief for your loss.

By now, I believe you all must have realised that politics in Nigeria, Ekiti especially goes beyond just making noise up and down, being flashy & dope, coming from America or wherever, attending the University of Wisconsin, packing Cambridge + Yale + LBS + MIT + the Great Ife together, having a grand declaration with a convoy of Rolls Royce and bought crowd while capping it with a popular musician as the major attraction of the day, having a shitload of money or having a detailed manifesto cum blueprint (how many of you have seen Fayemi's manifesto).

Right now, many are of the opinion that Fayemi won with power of cash, nope he won because he understood party politics and power play.

Nigerian politics has processes, it is designed in such a way to frustrate every kind hearted, development willing aspirant and supporters.

I am sorry that you all fell victim to the sinister design and lost your way in the maze. Believe me, I know how much you tried and how hard you worked, your aspirants failure was not born out of your incapability, it was just that you fought a wrong battle.

Take this home please, The master said: Black "To change an existing order, you need not fight it, concentrate your energy and resources on building a new model that makes the old model obsolete"

I am Tosin Ajibare Gold, that youth aspirant that does not have money and has been running his campaign strategically and steadily without fail for the past three years.

Addendum:
However, the APC Primaries result is a welcome one as it evens the odds. Against much speculations and diatribes, the only person Fayose is scared of in APC is Fayemi. Forget all those media propaganda about 16:0, give us fayemi, all na wash, na facade, the outgoing emperor is scared shitless.

With this result, the only card he has left to play is the southern + ado agenda as he himself knows that the continuity agenda is a sham. (take note of how the campaign will change tunes in the coming days).

He is trying to add the youth agenda to the deceit, mtcheww, for all of you who have been asking about the Yahaya Bello kind of Youths in government, the outgoing emperor of the umbrella kingdom has just given you a perfect model and replica for your thesis.
PS. Don't forget to thank him for the perfect specimens.

The Revolution Has Just Began, buckle up comrades, rehearsals are over.

Tosin Ajibare Wins Ekiti ID Governorship Ticket

Olabode Samuel
Ado-Ekiti

Mr Tosin Ajibare has emerged winner of the governorship primary election of the Independent Democrats (ID) in Ekiti State.

Ajibare, the face of the Ekiti youths sociopolitical revolution, won the party gubernatorial ticket as a consensus candidate.

Earlier in the day, there was heavy rainfall and some of the delegates could not get accredited while others could only get there after the votes has been cast.

They, however, joined others in jubilation, singing and dancing to all manners of songs played by the D.J in expressing their happiness for the fit.

Meanwhile, Ajibare won the ID ticket simultaneously as Kayode Fayemi, a former Governor and present Minister of Solid Minerals won the governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state days after Olusola Kolapo the incumbent Deputy Governor won the People's Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial ticket.

In his reaction, Tosin Ajibare thanked all and sundry saying, "words cannot quantify how I feel today. I appreciate you all for making this a reality, it is a pointer that, Ekiti is ready to end the reign of bad leadership in governance."

He further reiterated his commitment to lead the way to achieving the paradigm shift of power to a new generation of leaders. He said, "I am determined to lead Ekiti youths in this struggle to take back governance."

PoliticsVandalism Of Tosin Ajibare Banners A Step Too Far, Invitation To Crisis, Jcey by SharpmindsAC(op): 10:20am On May 10, 2018
EKITI2018 (65DAYS TO GO...)

VANDALISM OF TOSIN AJIBARE (GOLD) BANNERS IN EKITI IS A STEP TOO FAR, AN INVITATION TO AVOIDABLE CRISIS - JCEY

We are under attack. We are being victimized. They are persecuting us already. The same set of greedy politicians who have made it a point of duty to always use and dump us and, waste us at our primes are at it again! That we have decided to take responsibility for our lives by not following them and their stipends of poverty anymore has made them see us as a threat to their business thereby doing everything possible to intimidate, harass and, frustrate our efforts.

Among other things they've been doing against us (so far even though we've not been crying out), the recent vandalizing of our banners is a shame! Banners made with hard earned monies contributed by young adults who want the best for Ekiti. These same youths mostly unemployed and with little or meager sources of income still managed to bring funds together, went through the task of framing the banners themselves and, placing the same, Tosin Ajibare himself leading the charge, and every single effort wrapped with love and passion for the betterment of Ekiti, yet all these pathetic marauders would do is conspire within themselves to spoil this works? Haha! Aren't they too daft not to know that this is a divine project? Can't they see this is beyond us in all ramifications?

Come to think of it, these politicians have said before now that, our agenda of liberating Ekiti from their grip of poverty and afflictions is mere fantasies that cannot be achieved ever, why then are they attacking us? Why is it that the supposed 'unpopular' ideologies of ours which they claimed would not sell is what they are now ganging up against and want crushed?

They have before now threatened kidnapping a number of us. Their expectations were that we would be muted, scared and go into hiding, unfortunately for them we became bolder, in fact, the comrades displayed GALLANTRY and dared their pseudo.

They know that the end has come to their reigns of terror already; an era characterized by poverty and afflictions, and that, God is set to use us YOUTHS to unseat them. We too know that they are pigs who want to by every means possible lure us to their natural habitat which is the mud and dunghill where they THRIVE mostly (as they cannot cope with the level of our intellectual, modest approach) such that they would be able to discredit us and point to us as being no better than they are. Sorry, we won't fall for that!

Our message to them is; they never deserved being retired through the ballot in the first place by virtue of the havocs they've caused for the people, in fact, many are of the opinion that they and their household should be lynched, massacred and slaughtered. In short, most people want a bloody revolution.

We are part of the few that have considered the possibility of getting rid of them democratically without spilling blood, wrestling with them on the field they are very familiar with. We have intentionally decided to come to the field of Politics to slug it out with them so that they won't cry foul play, however, if with their affluence and influence, they still stoop so low to disrupt our campaign and movement, we are sorry to tell them that, they may not be able to finish it off.

Therefore, it is wisdom for them to halt immediately all their show of shame honourably, else, we help them! Also, it is more shame that, where a group of youths are working tirelessly and unrelentingly day and night to ensure that Ekiti State is salvaged from the hands of scavengers, some others rather than join force with their mates and fight unitedly, still make themselves available as tools to be used for such an embarrassing act. Bros, Tosin Ajibare is 36 years old, he is either your age mate or even younger and someone gives you #500 to go and vandalize his banners and you did? You don't only need deliverance, you need to be rehabilitated! Hear this, that same hands you used to perpetrate this evil shall not handle anything good, and, shall lack all the days of your miserable life until you repent. Amen!

We call on all Ekiti sons and daughters, Nigerians in general who want the best for Ekiti State and Nigeria proper, both home and abroad to please come to our aid. Rally round us. Let us get these evildoers out of our land. Work with us, we are that resolute group of social reformers who would make the difference you've always wished for, we are your dream come true, work with us in this few weeks to the July14 gubernatorial election in Ekiti State because we cannot afford to have our lives controlled by these recycled losers! God forbid, should we allow them continue, then we would be committing a grievous sin against humanity!

Finally, we call on all Nigerian Youths, Youth groups, organizations and corporations who want a paradigm shift of power from this present breed of looters to a younger generation of leaders with the fear of God to come to our aid and support us. Rally round us now and you will gain from it. Don't be deceived, there's no Nigeria2019 without Ekiti2018! We won't say more than that for now... Hurry now! Identify with us now and win big. Otherwise, otherwise! You cannot claim to be with us and stay afar off. Now is the time we need you to show us your solidarity!

To the marauders and their thugs, trust us when we say you are too small to stop this! Tell a friend to tell a friend that, TOSIN AJIBARE (GOLD) is the face of the Youths and Hope of the people in the July14 gubernatorial election in Ekiti State, Independent Democrats (ID) is the party, JCEY are the engine! Therefore, any bagger crossing the line can be crushed!

PoliticsNigerian Youths Must Prove Their Worth(s) As A Matter Of Urgency by SharpmindsAC(op): 9:09pm On Apr 20, 2018
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

```President Mohammed Buhari has said that, Nigerian youths are lazy people who do not want to work but want everything free. This, he said in an international business meeting held on Wednesday 18th April 2018 days after he declared his interest to run again for a second term in office, a move that generated mixed reactions from Nigerians.```
I wonder why Muhammadu Buhari is calling Nigerian youths lazy people. Youths that wake up as early as 4am in search of what to eat. Youths that do all it takes to pay their school fees. Youths that push wheel barrows around in order to make ends meet. Youths that ride Okada in order to survive. Youths that do all sorts of works and businesses in order to make ends meet. Youths that confronts Boko Haram and herdsmen in order to maintain peace and order. And most importantly, youths that voted for you.
```Meanwhile, in like manner some weeks ago, Itse Sagay, Chairman of the of the Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption (PACAC), has said Nigerians may regret having a youth as president because they would be embarking on a dangerous journey if elected.```

```Sagay's unreasonable reason was that, those thinking that youths would perform better in positions of authority in Nigeria are being shallow-minded. He said, “It is very shallow thinking because, as I see it, it is the youths of Nigeria today who believe in overnight wealth, who want billions overnight, who don’t want to work for their living and gradually build up their assets and business. That psychology of overnight wealth is almost exclusively a youth attribute."```
```These two comments have one thing in common - daring tone. After they have rendered the youths incapacitated by not providing them with jobs or friendly environment/policies to thrive, they still stare us in the face and tell us we are worthless. They still blame us for their incapabilities and negligence? What a cruelty! What an injustice!```

```It is interesting to note that the ongoing sociopolitical revolution led by Nigerian Youths has so much given the established politicians incurable headaches to the point that a supposed revered professor would cheaply shoot himself (and others who share the school of thought that we Youths are mere misfits) at the foot simply because he felt like opening his mouth to make a statement. No apologies!```
```So dumb an utterance he made that he practically highlighted his generation's failures as parents, leaders and role models who do not deserve to lead the human folks save the zoo. Professors that I know are always careful with their words because they are considered weighty. Sagay's claim that the agitation for fresh and new breed of leadership being championed by Nigerian Youths is 'irrational' and shallow-thinking leaves his professorship questionable. For the record, let his friends and associates advise him to start using his brain rather than thinking through the anus!```

```In answering him proper however, I will start with an adage in Yoruba that says "it is shamelessness that makes a bed-wetter to probe the laundry, asking why soap is expensive." The question is why he urinated in bed in the first place. He has no moral right whatsoever to complain, should soap cost a fortune!```
```Same applies here, Sagay has no moral pedigree to: (1) judge Nigerian Youths (2) discredit our generation by behaviours of lesser than 5% of our population (3) blame the said few for taking after him and his cohorts (4) ridicule the patriots' quest and struggle for a better Nigeria (5) ridicule Nigerian youths who are die-hard hustlers, who against all odds and what is obtainable (the mess Nigeria's leadership has caused them) still strive to make it in life (6) Blame the youths for being visionary. The list can go on and on. I would have said he needs to tender a sincere apology for his words, but, no worries about that, he will be sorry when I'm done with him!```

```He got it all wrong when he said, "...youths don't want to work for their living and gradually build up their assets and business." It's a pointer that they all have failed and are too far to see our plights hence the need to have a paradigm shift to the youths. That we've always look up to the recycled losers in governance to help fix our problems for us has never worked. That is understandable as they tend not to know what our problems are or are too selfish to admit them. Then, why can't the youths take charge and fix our problems ourselves. That, is the summary of the sociopolitical revolution for those having a misconception.```
```In case they do not know it yet, venturing into politics at this point in time is taking steps backward for some of us. Should they have managed the country well, we wouldn't have bothered ourselves by virtue of the potentials embedded in us. In fact, we would have been too busy impacting the world. But, in a situation where we strive and strive, hope against hope and, dream against dream yet to no avail, because the environment is unfriendly due to their shortcomings, we have no other options than resolve to first, fix the fundamental problem of leadership.```

```I have always emphasized that youths are victims of circumstances. We have our legs chopped off, yet, blamed for being cripple. It is quite interesting that in this part of the world, the youths have given to the society virtually all that the society demand of us. We were asked to get educated, we did and as a matter of fact, many of us have upgraded to Masters and PhD yet, there's nothing to show for it.```
```The society also asked us to acquire vocational skills, telling us certificate alone is not enough. Even though we felt like asking why the hell we went through the traumatic experiences just to acquire such 'useless' certificates, we still got vocational skills, though, with lingering unanswered questions. But, rather than support us, and finance our enterprising ideas, we are left stranded, strapped and frustrated.```

```And, who gets the blame? The youths of course! Whereas, the society has given us nothing in return, not even hope! We're tagged failures, misfits, thugs, touts, jobless, lazy and miscreants even when they (the leaders) are found wanting in doing their own parts.```
```Dear professor, what were you thinking when you opened your mouth and tagged us as misfits? Let me help you rephrase your statement: "it is very shallow-thinking because, as I see it, just like we their progenitors, some Nigerian youths believe in overnight wealth, who don't want to work for our living and gradually build up assets and business. That psychology of overnight wealth is almost exclusively a Youth attribute kudos to their upbringing (by us)"```

```Apologies to the great men and women of Sagay's generation who have distinguished themselves to be good role models in various walks of life. However, if their generation will keep seeing our shortcomings, and, keep using the misconducts of a microscopic few to judge us at will, then I have this to say, that: every Yahoo-Boy you see among the youths has an old 419er among you to match him. So, do not be quick to lay emphasis on us when the subject is brought forward, as it is also a pointer that you have failed woefully as parents. And, so also does it applies to any prostitute/asawo from among us who is matched by a Baba Alaye; a Sugar Daughter matched by a Sugar Daddy; Sugar Son matched by a Sugar Mummy and so on... REJOICE NOT! Everything you complain about concerning us is a pointer that you have failed, WOEFULLY!```
```I understand that Sagay's intentions were to gain cheap points by that statement but, it has also highlighted that he and his colleagues are feeling the heat already. If nothing else, it has dawned on them that our quest for a better Nigeria is not mere fantasy? No! We were not created here to suffer like this. Yes, we slept for just too long but, now we're awake. They all had better enjoy this last moments of their tenures characterized by poverty and sufferings. Let them live every moment of it with utmost consciousness because what they are experiencing now, is just the beginning of their end. It's over.```

```However, when we talk about the youths taking over, we are not referring to those spoilt brats you raised. Rather, a generation of passionate young adults who want nothing but the betterment of Nigeria. What we have invested into this project is unquantifiable. Some of us have virtually shutdown our lives for this sole agenda of building the Nigeria of our dream.```
```I may not know much but I know this: that, the long awaited time for liberation has come. A generation of unrepentant haters of evil is here already and they shall rid this land of every evildoer to the point that the world will pity them. Every Nigerian Youth must at this point in time know that the battle line has been drawn. We have been wronged collectively, therefore, we must fight for ourselves collectively.```

```I rest my case for now...```
```I am Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa, Youth Advocate and Social Reformer. I charge you fellow countrymen to step out of your shells and let these dealers rather than leaders know what we are really worth! That without us, they cannot be. That, the people's existence is not to only elect them into public offices, rather, that, those public offices exist for service to the people!```

TO THE ALLIES AT~PIT
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

At this point in time I, on behalf of every reasonable and progressive Nigerian, especially the Revolutionaries who have taken it upon ourselves to salvage this great country from the hands of scavengers have decided to bring some salient points to your notice, in order for you to know where we stand and where you stand with us.

Against all odds we stood on our feet even when falling was the norm; we identified with, and promoted an unpopular agenda that, it is time for new generation of godly leaders who have the love of the people at heart and, worked vigorously day and night to ensure the average citizen has a voice - his/her stake in the Nigeria project should not be denied him/her (even when it seemed all hope was lost). Some declined opportunities presented them on platters of gold to leave this country for 'greener pastures', unrepentantly determined to fix this land and make Nigeria greener than most thriving countries.

We have made up our minds to see this to the end. It is also expedient that you know that we have decided to totally rid this land of mediocrity. We have vowed to stop at nothing until we achieve this sole purpose of making this land a better place for all and, generations yet unborn. We believe that our watchword; "Youths must live and not just exist, our Parents must enjoy and not endure Life" will become reality soon.

By God, our efforts and struggles are yielding landslide positive results. Our supposed 'unpopular' ideology years back is now a national discussion; all political campaigns (genuine and pseudo) now focus on (the betterment of) the youths and the need for new breed of leaders. The people like never before have practically rejected the existing modalities and political structures, craving for a paradigm shift of power to fresh and, articulate young adults in leadership.

However, it is important that the truth be told (even though it is bitter). Your actions and inactions are making your own freedom more tasking and excruciatingly difficult. How? Isn't it you that come out enmass to grace their rallies thereby increasing their chances of getting cheap popularity they do not deserve? Isn't it you that display how gullible you can be when you struggle for their stipends of poverty and sell your birthright so cheaply? Isn't it you that they (still) send absurd errands that they would not send their maids talk much more of their children? Isn't it you that help them spread propaganda against the truth on social media to counter your own freedom? Isn't it ironical how you yourself are being used to ensure you are ruined and, do not fulfill destiny? Isn't it embarrassing how you kill your conscience and work against the truth even when you know it is at your own detriment?

You have always seen the electioneering period as your season to 'make money' but I'm afraid, your merchandise is not thriving this time around yet, you won't learn your lesson because (I guess) you've been destined for damnation? Haven't you taken time out to ask questions from those who have been their machineries in time past even before you came onboard? Ask how they are fairing, check them out critically then you will know that you're hopeless! While your age mates are craving to make this land a better place, you're busy dieing for crumbs? Crumbs, stipends of poverty and peanuts! Shame, you are a disgrace to your generation.

On your inactions, you are worse! You can complain till eternity about the gloomy state of the country yet, you won't spare time to go get your PVC, a priceless weapon you must use to right the wrongs. Isn't that disheartening? Your complaints are invalid and you are out of the equation. You're considered to be inexistent because you are worthless and of no value to our collective growth and development as a people. You can be reckoned with as unnecessary junks occupying spaces, and, invalids sharing with us what is not enough in the first place. An unimportant passive sect that must be done away with. You are causing more harm to our democracy than the enemies of progress are. Your passiveness is a curse that must be broken.

Therefore, because you have decided to enhance the operations of the wicked in this land by being their ally, you're blotted out. I pray God shows you mercy such that what is set to befall the wicked perpetrating evil in this land do not fall upon you as well.

Lastly, the time has come to separate the wheat from the thorns. Therefore, since you have decided not to be involved in what matters, then you must note that, you would not matter in the discourse in the long run indeed. Your plans to frustrate our democracy is no more palatable or accepted. All patriotic Nigerians doing their best to ensure this country becomes a better place dissociate from you until you change your lackadaisical attitudes and do the needful At This Point In Time (AT~PIT)

Nigerians are known to being complacent. The Suffering and Smiling virus have eaten so deep into them to the point that, they are considered the happiest people in the world even at this point in time when they experience starvation at its climax as a result of the actions and inactions of a microscopic few - greedy politicians. Isn't there time for everything? Isn't there time to be angry and curious? Isn't that time now? Isn't it scary that a people are complacent with such critical conditions as Nigerians are? Isn't it abnormal that they enjoy sufferings and afflictions?

Democracy in Nigeria is defined in reverse: the people of the government for the government and by the government. Our democracy is all about the government and not the people as against the original motives of the founding fathers, democracy being the government of the people for the people and by the people. In this case however, there are no innocents, the people are always the reflection of the leaders they choose to represent them. They allowed this mess in the first place.

Evil is recalcitrant and as such have thrived even more in the midst of a people with lackadaisical attitudes so alarming. They are mute in the face of the most absurd policies and inhumane treatments ever that their silence is so loud and deafening!

Poverty, unemployment and high cost of living are no accident, like slavery, they are man made and can be eradicated by actions of men. But, action is beyond mere complains or rants on social media or in the streets. Actions needed at this point in time must be deliberate. The people must consciously and intentionally reject their taskmasters who have made a project, their vulnerability.

They must understand that inasmuch as it is normal for dogs to bark and for birds to sing, it is also normal for the wicked to do evil. However, what seems abnormal is the good doing nothing while the wicked are diligently getting worse at perpetrating evil.

The people's complacency is laziness at its peak whereas the greedy politicians' proactive measure in building structures that aid their evil runnings and enterprises is diligence! And until the people's Will to reject poverty overpowers the politicians' Will to keep afflicting them, their story is not going to change.

This present set of dealers rather than leaders have been recycling themselves for about 6 decades now, isn't it time we had a paradigm shift to another generation of leaders? Isn't it time we give our total support to the YOUTHS? And if for nothing else, at least, for the benefit of doubt.

We have been collectively afflicted by a generation of scavengers and it is important that we unanimously reject them as a people...

Ekiti Youths - Who we are?
(Tosin Ajibare Gold)

We are the stones that those builders refused,
Despite being the pillars that hold their structure and the visual that inspires the future.

We are the spark that make their ideas bright,
The same spark that lights the dark so that they can know their left from their right.

We are the ballot in the box,
The bullet in the gun,
The story that has just begun,
The promise of what's to come.

And we will remain soldiers till the war is won.

We are making sacrifices others won't, just so that tomorrow, we all can have a sane society where things actually work.
#Revolution for Liberation

God bless all members of the revolution.

IRETI (HOPE)
This time shall pass...

The overlord up can be up, only for awhile,
Every actor takes a bow at curtain fall.

The night dark, but only for awhile,
A golden egg is eased out with each sun-call.

Darkness looms, but only for a little while,
The rising sun is awaiting its turn.

This time shall soon pass and our troubles with it,
And we shall have a new beginning,
Flowers will bloom and songs will come back to our mouth.
Dancing for our feet and the voices of our kennerys shall boom.

And our future shall then be truly secured...
For we shall match words with actions and thoughts with deeds...

AGAINST ALL ODDS, WE MUST REFUSE TO BE ROBBED OF HOPE
By Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa - February 3, 20180155

Olanrewaju
Olanrewaju
I sat on the couch in the dark, hating myself.
I felt so stupid:
Educated, “creative,” visionary… with a wife and kids looking to me to provide not just food and shelter, but to LEAD them into a life of love, adventure, joy…
And I was FAILING…
I felt more a slave at my *business* than my underpaying job. Each passing day shredding my confidence, my bank account steadily draining out like a severed vein in the neck, worsened by the biting economic hardship… Frightening and unbearable inflation, minutes in, minutes out.
All around me, it seemed, men less creative, less educated, less visionary and most embarrassingly, politicians (who are the source of the dilemma) were succeeding wildly… creating the life of wealth and abundance for themselves while all that I crave for is a life worthwhile. Not luxur(ies). They are eating away my life and that of others!
I had spent countless sums (hard earned monies) on courses and seminars and had nothing to show for it: millions worth of knowledge sitting there behind my dead, spark-less eyes, wholly inaccessible.
I realized I had spent all this time piling wood (knowledge), then despaired when it did not catch fire. It was not more wood I needed, but the means to light the wood already there.
Across the globe, millions of men, just like you and me, are going dead inside.
Men once filled with hope and anticipation reduced to ghosts at the table, the fire inside them quenched by a sense of nobody-ness which have engulfed their day to day lives of striving with nothing to show.
This is the situation of most Nigerian youths… Millions of us have our legs cut off and yet condemned for being cripple. We hope and hope upon hope… sometimes frustrated. The society keeps demanding and we keep giving all our best even when nothing is given in return…
Meanwhile, there is the lie that keeps eating our souls for lunch. They’ve been drilling it into our heads since we were little kids: “work hard and success will follow!”, as though hardwork matters these days…
“As long as you keep your head down, do as you’re told, and trust the system, all your blood, sweat, and tears will be rewarded!” Unfortunately, the hardworking fellow now turns out to be the very poor fellow…
It’s an idea that captured our imagination… and it was all a lie. A lie designed to dull our wits and make us docile so they can feed on our live forces, like pigs at a trough.
The truth is that hard work is NOT the deciding factor in our success according to the present system, hardwork is the only way left for survival! So please my friend, hardwork will not get us lives worthwhile, rather, it will only keep body and soul together that we may serve (them) more… The profit goes to the users (government) and the big losers are the used (you and I).
Unfortunately however, most people still believe in the system even when the system is as good as dead, they personalize their problems and predicaments blaming their il-luck, underemployment and unemployment on spiritual attacks, as though there were jobs in surplus and they would just not get one…
It is time we had a rethink, all of us. Let us shift our focus on the system that is not working rather than taking responsibilities for infrastructures which the losers in government have not provided.
Take it or leave it, Government is a major catalyst to nation building and until we get good leaders into governance, then we can be rest assured that, we are getting nowhere ‘better’ soon… In short, there’s no promising future where life would be worthwhile in view going by the way things are as at present, it will only get worst except something meaningful is done.
The solution however as I have always presumed is; let us unanimously retire all this present breed of wicked politicians who are mere position occupants; professional thieves who deal rather than lead as this is the only way out of our predicaments.
Remember, poverty, unemployment and low standard of living is not an accident, like slavery, it is man made and can be fixed by actions of men. Let us fix this once and for all!
I rest my case!
I am Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa (Sharpminds), Youth Advocate and Social Reformer… And, I THRIVE!

APOLOGY
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

"Once upon a time, rulers willfully ended their own lives when they performed woefully."

We are in a mess, such that requires a state of emergency. Chinua Achebe's "Things Fall Apart" though written decades ago, describes now more than then and perhaps it is high time we viewed it as being prophetic; the center no longer holding indeed.

There has never been a time in history that people starve as they do now except during war. Hunger, poverty and starvation boldly written on people's faces that, one must wonder how their conditions retrogressed to this point. It is a state of total confusion. Yes, imbroglio!

Businesses collapse by the day. Workers' salaries unpaid even when Naira is at its most devalued state ever. Hopelessness has become the order of the day. Parents are broke, their children stranded. Husbands can hardly meet the basic needs of their wives not to talk of the family as a whole. To make things worse, parents sell children for money, not because they do not love them, but that the rest may survive.

Security wise, there has never been a time in our civil lives that life is as valueless as it is now. Before now, we were loving people, brothers and sisters. We looked out for each other and shared in others' pains and joys. Now, love is being replaced with hate, hate even among brothers. Care replaced with nonchalance.

Terrorism, kidnappings, ritual killings, insurgencies, murdering, massacring and brutalizing now characterize our daily living. All across social media are displayed hourly of horrible pictures of fatal deaths. Mass burials. Disembowelled pregnant women, with their innocent babies made to feel the sharpness of blades even at their first exposure to our planet. Senseless enmities, avoidable deaths.

Yes, it has been prophesied that these happenings are the signs of the end time, yet, there are places with relative peace, harmony and joy. This connotes that, our predicaments are self inflicted. Hence, we might have fast tracked our own end time as against the prophecy. We all are guilty. There are no innocents.

Yesteryears seem better than now with no hope of things getting better soon (should the status quo remain). The story of the fellow caught having stolen a pot of amala on fire while the owner went to get other ingredients is touching, yet there are worse! There are cases families drink water to sleep because it is the only available edible substance they could lay hands on.

Those whom the people elect to represent them at various capacities on the other hand keep doing business as usual. They live lives of decadence, have luxuries at their disposal, acquire more wealth at the expense of the people and, manipulate them with crumbs from their loots.

Yet, it is still unimaginable that some people pride in being rulers of such a place as ours! It is noble for rulers to preside over the people and their reigns notable for good. Otherwise is however ignoble. And when it is otherwise, it is still noble when leaders involved take responsibility, leave the throne honourably and/or perhaps willfully take their own lives, as were the times of heroes in time past.

Not these present breed of leaders though, they are not honourable. They are ignoble. They do not have the guts to let go of power even when they obviously fail even their own household. The more our situations get worsened by their actions and inactions, the more they look for reasons why they are not at fault. They have mastered the art of trading blames. Blame game is their hubby. And because they will not leave willingly, they will be willfully dethroned, but dishonourably.

What lies ahead? Where do we go from here? Events will unravel no doubt. And sure, the table will turn. When? How? Where? History has it that people do have patterns of behavior which envelopes their judgements. On judgement day, events shall unravel.

I am Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa, a Battle Axe and Weapon of War. I am a part of a generation of unrepentant haters of evil who do not just fold arms and complain about things, but take actions to effect positive changes.
