PREDATORS AND THEIR PREYS: THE TALE OF A PEOPLE WITH COMMON ENEMIES
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

"...the occupation of the wicked is to do evil. On a scale of merit, they deserve award of excellence!"

There are two sides of the coin; elite or commoner. Rich or poor. Strong or weak. Wise or foolish. Good or bad. Nice or wicked. Moral or immoral. Sad or happy. Useful or useless. Bravery or cowardice. Careful or careless. In life, there are no neutrals, one must belong to a side. Simply put, one is either a prey or a predator. And, speaking of predators, they are always few but conscious and coordinated as against multitudes of preys who are forever hapless, lackadaisical and vulnerable.

The black race has been involved in slavery since time immemorial. Africa long before the invasion of white men hundreds of years ago was renowned for the brutal treatments of slaves by their lords, ('Africans being monkeys living in trees' myth notwithstanding). They have always practiced oligarchy and monarchy systems of government, where like every other community in existence during the dark age had their elites live lives of decadence and, unquestionable even when they exhibit the most absurd and inhumane behaviours.

Permit me to say this, the slave merchants thrived in their slave trades and merchandise in Africa thanks to the help of the elites who are ever greedy and, never had value for the their own people. Kings and chiefs were so greedy to the point that they gave their harlots, maidens, mistresses, concubines (and sometimes family members and even wives) in exchange for 'gifts' of scraps as ridiculous as mirrors. Hence, the black race has always cherished foreign things above their own.

Fast forward to the 19th and 20th centuries during colonial eras which led to the conquering of many indigenous kingdoms and inculcation of new systems of government - monarchy rendered powerless but oligarchy retained because it always favours the elites, even the European elites who were then in the helms of affairs.

And as expected of a besieged community, Africa adapted; elites and commoners alike. The Europeans have come with two sides of the coin; liberation and slavery, education and ignorance, prosperity and poverty, development and retrogression, blessing and curse, religion and damnation, giving and looting. Empowerment and vulnerability. In liberation, they preached equality, that, all animals are equal even though some are more equal than others, and in empowerment, they preached 'education for all'.

Middle of the 20th century witnessed the 'independence' of most African countries under European colonies. And gradually, the real African barbarism resurfaced. Why not? after all, we are now free! Free of the values we have learnt and free to run our own government ourselves again without interferences from anyone, not even the Europeans. However, we would practice Democracy their system of government which we have been taught how to run.

Democracy, a government of the people, for the people and by the people was supposed to be the perfect system of government for us, but for the kind of people we are. Because, for anything (at all) of a pathetic people, for a lackadaisical people and by a barbaric people must need more than a miracle to function properly.

Little wonder, sentiment and selfishness which are both features of a mediocre society led to the 1966 Coupd'etat in Nigeria which was the first of many to later happen. Between 1960 and 1999, Nigeria had had to switch systems of government in quest of the one that best suits us as a people. The problem however has never been the systems of government being practiced, rather, it has been about the people practicing them because the focal point in Democracy is the people.

In 1999, we settled for democracy once again after many failed attempts. The only problem with that again is the people involved. For, "we are a barbaric and pathetic people with lackadaisical attitudes at the same time", Democracy which is suppose to be a blessing has turned a curse - "DEMONSTRATION OF CRAZINESS". Isn't it true that a people get leaders they deserve?

Yes, there could be vulnerable people who are marginalized, neglected, frustrated, beaten, battered, cheated, afflicted and perhaps strapped but, there are no innocents. Yes, the masses may be suffering as a result of the actions and inactions of their leaders whom they elect to represent them, yet, they too are not innocent. We practice Democracy, which is a government of the people, for the people and by the people. Hence, our democracy is a reflection of whom we are as a people.

Who are the Predators and, who are the Preys? To answer this question, we must first highlight the major features of each. Predators are animals that kill (or feed on) others. They are few compared to their preys but, they are conscious and coordinated. They diligently work on plans which they often execute perfectly. Preys on the other hand, though always plenteous are careless and lackadaisical in nature. They live life as it is presented to them, not as they want it. They accept unpleasant situations and call it FATE.

The obvious contrasting features of these two categories explain why one THRIVES and the other STRIVES. Just like in ages past, the elites have mastered the art of taming the commoners such that they should remain at arms length and very much controllable. They have made a project the people's vulnerability and built a structure that will forever sustain them in power because they are diligent at what they do and they know that their preys are always careless and their lackadaisical attitudes will never make them take responsibility for their lives.

One may have to wonder why voting out bad leaders who keep afflicting them and, enthroning one of their own who would share their pain (a suppose most simple task ever), which would cheaply take the commoners out of afflictions and sufferings always seems an upheaval task and perhaps impossible! It is simply because, they are mere preys which means that, they are not expected to take responsibilities for their lives.

Speaking of voting out bad leaders and enthroning one of their own, there are still some who would rather boycott the electioneering process than get involved in it. They claim their distrust in almost everything. They complain of the government, complain of the bad leadership, complain of their PLIGHTS but would not take actions to effect a change of their situations. Only if being uninvolved changes their side of the coin.

Preys will be preys and predators will be predators until the parties involved take responsibilities and change the status quo. However, being predator doesn't connotes being evil and being prey doesn't connotes being good and, vise versa. It is time to choose which side of the coin you would be.

I am Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa, a battle axe and weapon of war. I am a part of a generation of unrepentant haters of evil who do not just fold arms and complain, but take actions to make the difference. I may not know much, but I know that in a very short while, Nigeria and Africa shall be fixed for good!

Let it be known to all 'friends of the masses' that, they should not bother themselves with coming to help us as it has been evident that they have no ideas what our problems are. They live lives of luxuries, have electricity running in their mansions 24/7; have varieties on their tables per meal; enjoy best of the best health care; have their generations settled for as long as possible; live lives of decadence. In short, their ways of living parallel to that of the masses who can hardly afford a meal per day and as a matter of fact eat whatever is available as against varieties on the table of the 'friends of the masses'.

Truth be told, the masses are mere pawns in their chess game. The point however is, how long shall these people keep suffering us and, how long shall the masses be made vulnerable?

They have mastered the game well. They come all the time with their stipends of poverty and throw at multitudes, naira notes. The masses, for their ignorance stampede themselves almost to death in battling for scraps of notes, forgetting that they are being devalued!

Ask them questions, where are their families? At least, they should be the first people to believe in their cause hence, they should lead the front line...

The end must come to the reigns of these MANIPULATORS. Support the YOUTH REVOLUTION, it is the only way out of this mess we are presently in... Support TOSIN AJIBARE, the youngest Governor to be...

PoliticsEkiti2018: Youths Write An Open Letter To The People On Behalf Of Tosin Ajibare by SharpmindsAC(op): 7:35pm On Mar 11, 2018
AN OPEN LETTER TO OUR DEAR EKITI PEOPLE

Èkìtì Kete ò,

A kíi yin, E kú isé, E kú akitiyan, E kú ìrójú. We salute your efforts, and doggedness in times like this. We your children know your pains and your troubles, sé ti salary tí ò tó ná la fé so ni àbí tàì san dédé, àbí ti economy tó dojúrú, tí gbogbo nkan wá wón bí ojú, gbogbo è á tó dópin lágbára Olórun.

We your children have taken a step to end this recurrent wickedness permanently and by God, good times are coming your way soonest, but we need your support and prayers.

As you already know, government is a major catalyst to nation building. Also, politics play an integral part in our life and you already know the character of our politicians, you know how they come around with their propaganda and ill-gotten wealth, promising heaven and earth and pretending as if they truly love the masses but once they get there they embark on their usual looting and stealing.

They only pay lip service to the welfare of the people, for them, to pay salaries is a taboo, even after 35years of active service as a civil servant, to pay gratuity to retirees is an impossibility. And, they still go ahead to owe pensions whereas their own salaries, allowances and, security votes are not owed nor reduced, as a matter of fact, it keep increasing. What wickedness?

You know the number of graduates you have trained through school only for them to be thrown back at you for feeding, clothing and maintenance; you know how you have to even help with the grandchildren school fees. You know how many of us are underemployed, moving from one odd job to the other. Ojó wo la fé seléèyí dà?

We cannot continue to fold our hands while our lives waste away, if anything at all, history has taught us they would never change. We the Joint Council of Ekiti youths have decided not to be used as tools and toys for politicians anymore, rather, to be the decisive force that will stand on truth and selflessness to usher in a new era of qualitative and Godly leadership.

Also, we cannot continue to do things the same way and expect a different result. We must unanimously and collectively shun looking forward to stipends of poverty which these politicians bring around all the time to buy us, our conscience and our votes.

The "dibo ko sebe" style which keeps leaving us in perpetual poverty must be rejected totally at least to get rid of poverty once and for all. Finally, to all our youths, we are better than political thugs and mere messengers. Remember, their children are based overseas, established with a 'good' future in view: "omolomo la n ran nise de torutoru".

As you know, a product of corruption cannot cure corruption, evil cannot kill evil, it will only multiply it. What this state and her people need is a fresh uncorrupted and intelligent young person who knows the problem facing this State and has the strength of character needed to tackle it, without condescending to greed or personal gain.

We need a leader who truly loves the people, a leader who is equipped for the present situation and prepared for the future. We need a truly divine resource for Ekiti. We need Tosin Emmanuel Ajibare for Ekiti, he is the Pride of We youths and Ekiti as a whole.

This is the youth revolution, to usher in a new Era of excellence, growth and true development. This is a divine agenda, an agenda of reform. It is time to break the chains of the oppressors. It’s time for new beginnings. We are not preaching PDP or APC, It’s time to do away with both and usher in new breed of leaders.

Thank you all!
Ekiti a gbe a oooo!

PoliticsGod Has Nigeria In Mind - Map Of Nigeria Spotted On A Praying Mountain by SharpmindsAC(op): 6:46am On Mar 06, 2018
GOD'S OWN COUNTRY
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

I had a change of perception about Nigeria the day I sighted on a prayer mountain, her 'geographical' map naturally engraved on the rock. The map, though recently painted the green-white-green Nigerian national colour has been there since time immemorial according to findings. A change of perception from me in the sense that I have started considering the artificiality of Nigeria until then.

I remember vividly sometimes back when a fellow challenged me of not using my network to 'support' the Secessionists' Campaign, a just cause and instead, I am pushing for a reformed and liveable Nigeria which according to him is one of British colonies in Africa, where people of much differences and 'incompatible' cultures are lured and/or coerced to come together and live 'peacefully' even when the Niger-Area 'project' was merely an experiment by her founders. (History has it that the British Colonialists predicted Nigeria to expire and perhaps not last more than a century).

Apologies to the aggrieved and/or marginalized communities and ethnicities within Nigeria that are of the opinion that secession is the best option for them, with the belief that Nigeria is an 'unnecessary' error that must be fixed. However, God being the Supreme Being does not make mistakes. We have had country breakups in the past. The Soviet Union in Europe, Korea in Asia, and recently, Sudan in Africa, just to mention but a few. My point is, should Nigeria not be in God's plans and will, we would have parted ways during the civil war, events and incidences that played out notwithstanding.

Dear countrymen, let us unanimously and consciously come together as one force, sacrificing for the Nigeria of our dream. This we must do because as it stands, the reasons for the call for breakups is, hate, marginalization, nepotism, poverty, hunger, anger, unemployment etc inflicted on us as a people by politicians whom we often choose to represent us at various levels of government.

In a nutshell, Nigeria would be the best country ever where everyone would want to visit (and no one would be calling for separation) if we can get it right in the aspect of leadership across all sectors. Same goes to any other country, even USA. Should they get it wrong in terms of leadership and have their situation as bad as what is experienced right now in Nigeria (where the people are starving as though we are at war), there would also be uprisings and calls for secession.

Biafra, Oduduwa and Arewa Republics would still be errors if the problem of leadership is not fixed. Come to think of it, the Igbos who have been on this cause for quite a time now still have politicians who represent them in the Nigerian National Assembly and House of Representatives. Should they be serious about separation, one would have expected them to withdraw and return home, and, make the southeastern part of the country a model region, ripe for independence. Rather, they keep up with the status quo, nonchallant about the people they represent but keep filling their pockets. Now, if Biafra should be 'realized', believe me, there would be more problems. Same applies to others.

We all are suffering from the same predicament - bad leadership. Fixing leadership is fixing Nigeria. Unfortunately, we have allowed the enemies to sow seeds of hatred, distrust, fear and greed among us as a people. And as I always emphasize, politicians made a project of our vulnerability as a people. They invented hunger and poverty to tame us and reduce our self-worth such that we have no values for ourselves, and others around us. However, we must find a meeting point because that's the only way out.

Not participating in politics and boycotting elections is not the solution. If nothing else, it is only going to make things worse. They have built structures that enthrone them at will. The greedy politicians would only THRIVE the more if we do not consciously counter their game plan of recycling themselves and their households in the corridor of power. And to what end? Of course, more poverty and hunger and sufferings. Should that be the case, then war is inevitable. By then, I'm afraid there won't be innocents, we will all be guilty!

Ridding the enemies of Nigeria of power is very easy, all we need do is retire them in a bloodless Revolution by the ballot. Should we miss this peaceful chance, then I am afraid, we all may be pushed to the wall beyond stretch that may eventually lead to an uprising. However, note that, BLOODLESS does not connotes a sort of weak approach void of actions to quench the wicked, no. Bloodless actually means forcefully taking our place and freeing our land of every bad leader there in, and, should any resist in any form, making such pay direly - and perhaps grant amnesty to those who genuinely repent. Getting rid of the wicked is not bloody, it is righteousness!

God Himself has given us a country with the most potentials and resources to be the best ever, He keeps us in mind, answering our prayers of a better Nigeria. For our request for the miracle, He has provided us ourselves with the opportunity to be the long awaited miracle to free Nigeria of sufferings and afflictions caused us by bad leadership.

"...the greatest miracle of this generation would be the Enthronement of good leaders across all sectors of the society, especially, politically "

I am Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa, Youth Advocate and Social Reformer and, an arrowhead in the ongoing YOUTH sociopolitical Revolution in Nigeria.

PoliticsEkiti2018: Tosin Ajibare Writes Nigerian Youths by SharpmindsAC(op): 5:55am On Mar 04, 2018
A TIMELY MESSAGE FROM TOSIN EMMANUEL AJIBARE (GOLD), FACE OF EKITI YOUTHS SOCIO-POLITICAL REVOLUTION

DEAR YOUTHS,

Being a youth in this part of the world is not a comfortable existence, it means being part of the company of the bruised, the battered and the scarred. Being a youth around here means trying to smile when you want to cry, it means trying to hold on to physical life amidst psychological death. It means having your legs cut off and then condemned for being a cripple, it means being harried by day and haunted by night by a nagging sense of nobody-ness and constantly fighting to be saved from the poison of bitterness. It means the ache and anguish of living in so many situations where hopes unborn have died.

Our dilemma is serious and our handicaps are real but yet the performance of our lives must go on, and without self-pity or surrender we must march on, unfaltering, unshaken fearless even in the face of the most hostile situation. We will be greatly misled if we feel that the problem will work itself out, structures of evil do not crumble by passive waiting. If history teaches anything, it is that evil is recalcitrant and determined and never voluntarily relinquishes its hold.

Evil must be attacked by a counteracting persistence, by the day to day battering rams of justice. We must get rid of the false notion that there is some miraculous quality in the flow of time that inevitably heals all evil, there is only one thing certain about time and that is that, it waits for no one. If it is not used constructively, it passes you by.

In this generation the children of darkness are still shrewder than the children of light. They are always zealous and conscientious in using time for their evil purposes, they do not wait or delay at all in implementing selfish policies, they use their time to spend big money vainly, to disseminate half-truths, to confuse the popular mind, but the forces of light casually wait, patiently pray and timidly act and so we end up with double destruction: the destructive violence of the bad people and the destructive silence of the good people we must choose where we belong.

One of the most serious effects of the youth’s damaged ego has been his frequent loss of respect for himself and other youths, he ends up with an ambivalence and animosity towards his own kind. Too many youths are fighting and antagonizing each other. The pharaohs had a favorite and effective strategy to keep their slaves in bondage: keep them fighting amongst themselves. The divide and rule technique has been a potent weapon in the arsenal of oppression but when the slaves unite, the red sea of history opens and the Egypt of slavery crumbles.

Finally, the revolution we have long awaited is here, God has stirred up the hearts of the youths and, we are rising against the existing norm that have gifted us nothing but poverty, unemployment, low standard of living, and many more just to mention but a few.

The train is moving fast and because this is a Divine Agenda coming from the youths, it is therefore expedient that you are involved and not left out. Get up! Stand up! Be a part of the story of glory! It is our only way our of poverty. The time is now!

We youths are the leaders of today and as such, we are better than being political thugs to those who have no value for us than to use and dump us. Remember, "youths must live and not just exist, our parents must enjoy and not endure life". We must not trade our destinies with stipends that cannot sustain us for a day on election days anymore. To live is a right, not a choice!
Support us as we challenge the existing political structures at the poll come July 14th 2018. It is a win for our generation and generations yet unborn...

Yours in Revolution,
TOSIN AJIBARE (GOLD)

PoliticsEkiti2018 Is A Determinant To Nigeria2019, It Is A Battle Between Good And Evil by SharpmindsAC(op): 10:29am On Feb 27, 2018
EKITI2018: AN OPEN LETTER TO THE MASSES WHO ARE ALWAYS AT THE RECEIVING END

Dear Nigerians,
Ekiti2018 is a determinant to Nigeria2019... It is a battle between good and evil. The camp that wins determines our fate collectively and, individually

FIVE (5) REASONS TO PARTICIPATE ACTIVELY IN THIS ONGOING YOUTH REVOLUTION:

1. UNCERTAINTY OF THE FUTURE: We as a people cannot afford to risk our lives being managed by this present breed of leaders again. With the present situation of things, none of us can predict what the future holds. Unfortunately, things seem to be going worse day by day. Knowing the present crops of leaders we have, it's best we retire them and build our future ourselves. It is the only remedy.

2. HOPE FOR THE YOUTHS: Youths are the leaders of tomorrow: When is tomorrow? Youths have been phased out of leadership across all sectors, especially, politically. The highest the youths often attain is P.A (Personal Assistant). This agenda will break barriers and remove limitations the present political class and style have set on the youths. It will open doors and empower young adults.

3. HOPE FOR THE COMMON MAN/MASSES: Everybody has lost hope; everyone keeps praying for a miracle, we Youths are the long awaited miracle, a new breed of leaders. It is no secret that, nothing good can come out of this present politicians recycling themselves.

4 IMPOTENCE OF PROTESTS: You can remember how many protests we have had so far, the big question is if they have yielded any result(s)? Let's go there and solve our problems ourselves instead of continually begging them to solve it for us.

5. FAILURE OF UNIONS: Who unions don help? It is common knowledge now that the politicians have maneuvered their ways to incapacitate unions and as such act unchallenged.

Let us rally round the Champion; for a long time, we all have been talking about freedom and redemption but, the question actually is who will lead the fight, who will bell the cat? Now, youths have risen and we have a flag bearer, a youth who is ready to take on the enormous economic and political power of the old brigades even at the expense of his own life. Dear Youths, let us rally round and support TOSIN AJIBARE (GOLD), he fights for us all...

PoliticsEkiti2018: We Will Vote Out APC And PDP, Tosin Ajibare by SharpmindsAC(op): 8:16am On Feb 27, 2018
We Are Waiting
Tosin Ajibare Gold.

PDP said Fayemi said - "I have my personal eight billion Naira to buy 400,000 votes at 20,000 Naira each and I'm assured of at least another 20 billion Naira from the presidency in support of my campaign".

APC said Fayose said - " I may not be able to pay your arrears but I have instructed Eleka to make it a first priority issue and pay all salary arrears upon assuming office"

We Ekiti Youths say

"We Are Waiting"

Who knows the judgement day?
Let him come forth and whisper it.
Who knows the day of liberation?
Let him ride up and echo it,
for we have it..
We have it finely wrapped,
Our Solemn gift.

We have wrapped our tears in our sleeves,
Our hunger in ulcerated stomachs,
The hope you murdered at dawn lays embalmed in the Glass casket,
(Oh you thought we buried it? No we kept it as a constant reminder of your so called benevolence)
And Our anger, bitterness and annoyance in our PVC,
As we patiently await the D-day.

For on that day we shall March as Soldiers,
Soldiers of destiny willing and ready to make the Ultimate sacrifice on the quest for a better life and society,
And present to them in anger, "Sweat, bitterness, Sorrow and Disappointment"
All wrapped with foils bought with their stollen billions,
We shall gift them just as they have always gifted them to us after elections,
For on July 14th, we will unanimously take our lives and government from the Parasitic leaders, both PDP and APC and from their ashes resurrect our murdered hopes.

YOUTH INVOLVEMENT MY FOOT, WE ARE TALKING YOUTH TAKEOVER!

SOMEONE ASKED ME A QUESTION: HOW CAN THE YOUTHS GET INVOLVED AND MAKE MEANINGFUL IMPACTS IN THESE SECTORS: EDUCATION, ECONOMY & POLITICS.?

MY RESPONSE:
THE YOUTHS ARE NOT ONLY INVOLVED IN THESE AFOREMENTIONED SECTORS, THEY ARE THE MAJOR STAKEHOLDERS. THERE'S NOTHING TO BE RECKONED WITH IN EDUCATION IF YOU'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT THE YOUTHS. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT, MONIES ARE MADE THROUGH THE YOUTHS WHILE THEY GET JUNKS IN RETURN.

ECONOMICALLY, YOUTHS ARE THE ENGINE (LABOUR) MAKING MONEY FOR THE ELITES. 'MONKEY DEY WORK BABOON DEY CHOP' THEREFORE, THEY ARE INVOLVED.

POLITICALLY, YOUTHS ARE THE DRIVING FORCE: CAMPAIGN, THUGGERY, VOTING, RIGGING, ETC, ALL BY THE YOUTHS.

CONCLUSIVELY:
DEAR YOUTHS, DO NOT LET THEM BO-BO YOU WITH THEIR NONSENSE "GET INVOLVED' MANTRA, YOU ARE ALREADY INVOLVED. IN FACT, OVER INVOLVEMENT IS WORRYING YOU ALREADY. THEY ONLY WANT TO DIVERT YOUR ATTENTION FROM THE TAKEOVER!

PoliticsEleka Is Merely A Joker To Distract Opposition From Fayose's Game Plan by SharpmindsAC(op): 9:14am On Feb 23, 2018
RESPONSE TO BLIND FOLLOWERS OF ELEKA, FAYOSE'S JOKER!

My Honourable, I was going to ask Oscar a simple question, "How he so much put Eleka on his head even when the man in question wants out?" In case these blind followers of Eleka do not know, 1. He is just a joker used by Fayose to play on the people, oppositions and electorates alike as Eleka is not the candidate of his choice yet 2. If there is anything Eleka wants right now, it will be to be left out of this gubernatorial election palavah as he regrets being picked by a consuming tyrant already, 3. Eleka cannot win a single ward in Ikere-Ekiti even with money... The list can go on and on! Ponder on these revelations and be free from spell. Anytime you bark here, shouting Eleka for Governor, he in turn always feel like shouting at you saying, "Stop that nonsense, don't kobalize me! God, how wish this cup can pass over me!"
"Koloko lila ba tii bani sun, gbigbi l'oni i gbi ooo" that's exactly the case with your Eleka!

PoliticsAn End Has Come To The Reign Of APC And PDP In Nigeria, Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa by SharpmindsAC(op): 8:09am On Feb 21, 2018
For a people endowed with great potentials as well as a geographical location in which are numerous resources of all kinds (more than enough to make any nation thrive) to wallow in such abject poverty as Nigerians experience daily is an error.

Looking around, anyone knowledgeable enough and, cautious of life must ask questions: how a country blessed with both human and natural resources should have the poorest people in the universe; how, the commoners become so vulnerable because they are not connected to politicians in the corridors of power.
https://steemit.com/nigeria/@sharpminds/swimming-against-the-tide
Nigerians are hardworking. In fact, they are workaholics. To them, it pays to be diligent because they believe no lazy man should eat. They are therefore not comfortable being idle. They always find something doing no matter how little...

They are enterprising. They are raw talents. They are skilled. They are exceptional. They are intelligent. They are brilliant. They are business minded. They do not waste time. And as a matter of fact, they believe time is money. Nigerians are disciplined people as against speculations that they are otherwise.

However, they are poverty stricken! Their efforts do not correspond with their results. They strive but they do not thrive. They labour but there is very little or nothing to show for it. Others who do not hustle as much as Nigerians do, seem to prosper more as they do little but have big results, whereas, Nigerians do so much more but have small/no results all because of the actions and inactions of few. A microscopic few.

Not all Nigerians are poor. There are those who are averagely rich, others, stinkingly rich and some, extremely wealthy. Of these categories are the legit who, by virtue of hard work, coupled with 'luck' and perhaps financial cushion are able to break even, bringing into reality their dreams and ideas.

Another category, the illegitimately rich are those who engage crooked ways to enrich themselves. They are kidnappers, ritualists, terrorists, armed robbers, assassins, etc. They are politicians who embezzle, loot and squander public funds, not minding what the impact will be on the people. They see politics as a means of getting enriched overnight as against service to the people. Those who are not in the forefront among them, that is, those who do not run for public offices, are contractors who conspire together with their partners in crime to inflate project costs in order to rob the people of their treasures. Capital Projects for Capital Fraud.

The rest, who are the vast majority are left swimming against the tide. They dream against dream and hope against hope. They are the perfect illustration of frustration. They keep doing everything possible to break even. The more they try, the more it seems their situations get worse.

Some of them who still have faith in the system believe that time heals wound. Little do they know that, the Nigeria ship is not just failing, it is wrecked already, and all that is needed now is salvaging. There are others who believe that Nigeria is a shithole country where nothing good can thrive. They therefore seek opportunities to escape to greener pastures at all costs. They too do not have it as planned anymore, recent Lybian Slave dungeon a pointer.

It is no secret that Nigeria can not survive any longer with the existing modalities. APC, PDP and/or any of the established association of dealers rather than leaders cannot lead Nigeria out of this mess. They got us all here in the first place. They made a project, impoverishing the people in order to keep manipulating them at will. And why not, they are doing what they know how to do best - evil. They are passionately wicked!

Speaking of being wicked, their sole occupation is doing evil. They are diligent in executing their evil plans. They thrive doing evil. It is a misnomer for anyone to expect anything good from them or their camp. 'Good' is not their way of life. They do not believe in it. They are wicked, and what they do is evil!

The people however are not diligent in kicking against evil. The force of their resistance does not march the force of their oppressors' afflictions. And, until they can march force with their taskmasters, their situations will not get better anytime soon. They must as a matter of urgency take drastic actions against the established politicians who keep thriving at their expense.

They must unanimously paralyze the existing political structures and rid this land of suffering and poverty. They must support the Revolutionaries who want the best for Nigeria at this point in time. They must take responsibility for their lives now, more than ever. They must effect the change they so much deserve by giving the YOUTHS the chance to take over the mantle of leadership.

By then, their efforts would match their results and they would not need to be workaholics with little/no results. They would not need to swim against the tide as Nigeria must have been salvaged by then.

All road leads to Ekiti State as the Youths challenge the existing political structures at the poll come July Gubernatorial election. Nowadays I have noticed that the countenance of Ekiti people is changing for good. I can see hope written all over them again... They are counting days to the end of poverty and hunger in their land. They await the Enthronement of Tosin Ajibare (GOLD), the face of the YOUTHS in the July 14th polls. Congratulations Ekiti people!

PoliticsProf. Itse Sagay - A Dilemma Of Confusion And Bewitchment, Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa by SharpmindsAC(op): 9:04am On Feb 14, 2018
PROF ITSE SAGAY - A DILEMMA OF CONFUSION AND BEWITCHMENT
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

EPILOGUE:
Itse Sagay, Chairman of the of the Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption (PACAC), has said Nigerians may regret having a youth as president because they would be embarking on a dangerous journey if elected.

His Unreasonable Reason?:
According to Sagay, those thinking that youths would perform better in positions of authority in Nigeria are being shallow-minded. He said, “It is very shallow thinking because, as I see it, it is the youths of Nigeria today who believe in overnight wealth, who want billions overnight, who don’t want to work for their living and gradually build up their assets and business. That psychology of overnight wealth is almost exclusively a youth attribute."

MY REACTION:
It is interesting to note that the ongoing sociopolitical revolution led by Nigerian Youths has so much given the established politicians incurable headaches to the point that a supposed revered professor would cheaply shoot himself (and others who share the school of thought that we Youths are mere misfits) at the foot simply because he felt like opening his mouth to make a statement. No apologies!

What A Tragedy!
So dumb an utterance he made that he practically highlighted his generation's failures as parents, leaders and role models who do not deserve to lead the human folks save the zoo. Professors that I know are always careful with their words because they are considered weighty. Sagay's claim that the agitation for fresh and new breed of leadership being championed by Nigerian Youths is 'irrational' and shallow-thinking leaves his professorship questionable. For the record, let his friends and associates advise him to start using his brain rather than thinking through the anus!

MY RESPONSE:
In answering him proper however, I will start with an adage in Yoruba that says "it is shamelessness that makes a bed-wetter to probe the laundry, asking why soap is expensive." The question is why he urinated in bed in the first place. He has no moral right whatsoever to complain, should soap cost a fortune!

Same applies here, Sagay has no moral pedigree to: (1) judge Nigerian Youths (2) discredit our generation by behaviours of lesser than 5% of our population (3) blame the said few for taking after him and his cohorts (4) ridicule the patriots' quest and struggle for a better Nigeria (5) ridicule Nigerian youths who are die-hard hustlers, who against all odds and what is obtainable (the mess Nigeria's leadership has caused them) still strive to make it in life (6) Blame the youths for being visionary. The list can go on and on. I would have said he needs to tender a sincere apology for his words, but, no worries about that, he will be sorry when I'm done with him!

He got it all wrong when he said, "...youths don't want to work for their living and gradually build up their assets and business." It's a pointer that they all have failed and are too far to see our plights hence the need to have a paradigm shift to the youths. That we've always look up to the recycled losers in governance to help fix our problems for us has never worked. That is understandable as they tend not to know what our problems are or are too selfish to admit them. Then, why can't the youths take charge and fix our problems ourselves. That, is the summary of the sociopolitical revolution for those having a misconception.

In case they do not know it yet, venturing into politics at this point in time is taking steps backward for some of us. Should they have managed the country well, we wouldn't have bothered ourselves by virtue of the potentials embedded in us. In fact, we would have been too busy impacting the world. But, in a situation where we strive and strive, hope against hope and, dream against dream yet to no avail, because the environment is unfriendly due to their shortcomings, we have no other options than resolve to first fix the fundamental problem of leadership.

I have always emphasized that youths are victims of circumstances. We have our legs chopped off, yet, blamed for being cripple. It is quite interesting that in this part of the world, the youths have given to the society virtually all that the society demand of us. We were asked to get educated, we did and as a matter of fact, many of us have upgraded to Masters and PhD yet, there's nothing to show for it.

The society also asked us to acquire vocational skills, telling us certificate alone is not enough. Even though we felt like asking why the hell we went through the traumatic experiences just to acquire such 'useless' certificates, we still got vocational skills, though, with lingering unanswered questions. But, rather than support us, and finance our enterprising ideas, we are left stranded, strapped and frustrated.

And, who gets the blame? The youths of course! Whereas, the society has given us nothing in return, not even hope! We're tagged failures, misfits, thugs, touts, jobless, lazy and miscreants even when they (the leaders) are found wanting in doing their own parts.

Dear professor, what were you thinking when you opened your mouth and tagged us as misfits? Let me help you rephrase your statement: "it is very shallow-thinking because, as I see it, just like we their progenitors, some Nigerian youths believe in overnight wealth, who don't want to work for their living and gradually build up assets and business. That psychology of overnight wealth is almost exclusively a Youth attribute (kudos to their upbringing by us)"

Apologies to the great men and women of Sagay's generation who have distinguished themselves to be good role models in various walks of life. However, if their generation will keep seeing our shortcomings, and, keep using the misconducts of a microscopic few to judge us at will, then I have this to say, that: every Yahoo-Boy you see among the youths has an old 419er among you to match him. So, do not be quick to lay emphasis on us when the subject is brought forward, as it is also a pointer that you have failed woefully as parents. And, so also does it applies to any prostitute/asawo from among us who is matched by a Baba Alaye; a Sugar Daughter matched by a Sugar Daddy; Sugar Son matched by a Sugar Mummy and so on... REJOICE NOT! Everything you complain about concerning us is a pointer that you have failed, WOEFULLY!

I understand that Sagay's intentions were to gain cheap points by that statement but, it has also highlighted that he and his colleagues are feeling the heat already. If nothing else, it has dawned on them that our quest for a better Nigeria is not mere fantasy? No! We were not created here to suffer like this. Yes, we slept for just too long but, now we're awake. They all had better enjoy this last moments of their tenures characterized by poverty and sufferings. Let them live every moment of it with utmost consciousness because what they are experiencing now, is just the beginning of their end. It's over.

However, when we talk about the youths taking over, we are not referring to those spoilt brats you raised. Rather, a generation of passionate young adults who want nothing but the betterment of Nigeria. What we have invested into this project is unquantifiable. Some of us have virtually shutdown our lives for this sole agenda of building the Nigeria of our dream.

I rest my case for now...

Concerning this ongoing Revolution in Nigeria, everyone has a role to play individually and collectively. I am doing my part relentlessly and tirelessly. It will be in record that, a particular comrade passionately contributed to Nigeria's liberation from indigenous TASKMASTERS.

I just worked on a track titled "RED CARD" encapsulating a timely message for Nigerians at this point in time. The track must reach the masses and I count on you to get it to as many as possible.

"an end has come to an era characterized by poverty and sufferings, on a good day, I can smell fresh air in the atmosphere waiting to fill our land"

If you are unsure of a course of action, do not attempt it. Your doubts and hesitations will affect your execution. Timidity is dangerous: it is better to enter with boldness.

Any mistakes you commit through audacity are easily corrected with more audacity. Everyone admires the bold, no one honours the timid. That bold step could change the world; take it!!!

PoliticsIf Politicians Are Desperate, Then The Youths Must Be Desperation Personified by SharpmindsAC(op): 3:13pm On Feb 11, 2018
DESPERATION PERSONIFIED!
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

"If former and/or serving governors, senators, congressmen, public office holders, established politicians, etc are said to be desperate for power, then, we youths are not only desperate, we are DESPERATION PERSONIFIED!"

Sometimes ago I had a conversation with an elder statesman, one of few who are in agreement with the fact that their generation has failed woefully hence, the need for a generational power shift to the youths.

In the course of our discussion, he was so passionate about the subject matter that he couldn't hide his emotions. To him, our ideology of a paradigm shift is a good development and, the way out of Nigeria's present woes but, it is 'unrealistic'. His point of view was understandable. For a man who had served in various capacities politically, he knows the strength of the present structures. He knows how much they have incapacitated the youths to a fault and the limitations the 'powers that be' have created to ensure no one outside their camp gets to power. However, what he failed to realize was that, as great Roman Empire was, it still fell down flat!

At a point he looked at me eye ball to eye ball and said, "son, your ideas are good and as a matter of fact, they are what can rescue us as a people, but I am afraid, these politicians are too DESPERATE! You know what I mean, don't you?"

Of course, I knew what he meant. That, they could do even the most unimaginable? That, they would do everything they could to get rid of anything/anybody that stands on their way to achieving their ambitions? That they could employ blasphemy? That, they could eliminate and/or assassinate? The list could go on and on, but, I was not impressed, and I couldn't help but smile.

Surprised at my reaction to what he had just said, which should have caused me to tremble and perhaps be scared, he asked, "Or is there something I'm missing? Anything you are not telling me?" Sure, there were.

My response was a shocker that caused him to adjust his chair. I said, "if former and/or serving governors, senators, congressmen, public office holders, established politicians, etc are too desperate to remain in power, then, we youths craving to unseat them are not only desperate, we are desperation personified!" He stared on.

I went further by asking, to what end politicians are desperate for? A former/serving governor but to add to his CV that, he served twice? A former/serving Senator that, he broke records? An established politician that, he is popular and man of the people? These aforementioned are not sustainable enough for desperation as against we youths who must take over power to save: our lives, our generation, our fatherland, secure the future for generations yet unborn, cleanse our land of mediocrity and poverty, reposition Nigeria in the league of countries as a model, etc. The list can go on and on.

Our situation could be likened to that of a man abandoned in the desert by a friend he trusted. He has not had water nor food for days but strives to reach the nearest town and finds a stream of water. As he approaches the stream, he finds the same betrayer who abandoned him by the stream. The same has had enough water to the point he was wasting some. Seeing him (the thirsty man), he attempts to stop him from getting some water to quench his thirst that he may live, his (the betrayer) mission being to ensure the other dies.

He was desperate to stop the thirsty man, but the thirsty man was, desperation personified as he seized him and ruthlessly dragged him along on the ground till he got to the stream and drank enough. By then, Mr. Stopper was no more his former self, he has been rid of power, table had turned.

It is true that Nigerian politicians are renowned for their desperation, however, it is more true that, this time around, the youths won't be just desperate, rather, they are the living version of desperation; that talk, eat, bath, sleep and walk - DESPERATION PERSONIFIED!

Ado-Ekiti

A group of clergies have unanimously agreed to give spiritual backing and support to Nigerian youths involved in the ongoing sociopolitical revolution.

Speaking in the grand finale of a three day fasting and prayer programme organized for youths across the federation held at Dave Hotel, Ado-Ekiti, Prophet Adebayo Adekola, minister in charge of Prayer Barracks International while praying said, "This is the time for Nigerian youths to be enthroned. God has shown me that, starting from 2018, there shall be a total overhauling of the Nigerian political system that will open doors for new breed of godly leaders who will turn the story of Nigeria around."

In a sermon tagged, "Destined For Enthronement", Prophet Funso Enoch of God's Generals Ministries charged Nigerian youths to be courageous as all they need do is to remain steadfast and faithful in their part, saying, God is set to deliver the government into their hands. He added, "quiver not about the limiting factors militating against you, they will be used as tools and stepping stones toward the fulfilment of God's Will concerning you for Nigeria."

The programme which featured various youth groups across all stratas had in attendance Tosin Ajibare, the face of Ekiti youths in the upcoming July 14th 2018 gubernatorial election and other young aspirants vying for various political offices in the coming political dispensations.

In a special session of impartation, Prophet Funso Enoch, alongside other men of God present anointed the aspirants for enthronement. They further sacked all enemies of Nigeria responsible for her predicaments during a prayer of agreement, giving red card to established groups manipulating the people in the process.

In a closing remark, Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa, a Youth Advocate and organizer of the programme thanked the clergies for their fatherly and spiritual support and, encouragements saying, "Now, we are rest assured the more that, God is involved in our sojourn to liberate our fatherland." He further appreciated everyone who had taken time to attend the event, urging them to keep up the good fight for Nigeria's salvation.

PoliticsYou Could Have Been An American, After All Some Are Members Of The First Family by SharpmindsAC(op): 7:07am On Feb 05, 2018
ALL FOR A PURPOSE
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

There are pressing questions that must be answered. Yes, lingering questions like why people with so great potentials as many Nigerians were not fortunate enough to have landed (at birth) in 'better' countries where they could have thrived more, and perhaps, be appreciated/celebrated by virtue of great intellectual endowment embedded in them.

How raw talents with virtually no formal training operate complex machines, even 'more' than the white manufacturers. I have seen young Nigerians maximize gadgets beyond the initial intentions of their manufacturers and wondered how flourishing they would have been if they were to be Americans or perhaps Europeans. And as a matter of fact, some that I know would have made Guinness Book of Record.

I myself wonder at how I manage to play the piano (a musical instrument I never had any formal/informal training on) with so much fluidity and ease to the point many cherish my style (of play) that they desire I teach them how to 'play like me'. Little do they know I never had any tutor nor training!

I have wondered how, many like myself with exceptional skills would have faired in more friendly societies where talents are scouted/sought-after and not trampled to the ground; and in like manner, where talents and gifts are enough for anyone to become made in life. Trust me, most struggling and barely surviving rather than living in Nigeria would have been world renowned stars by now.

Many, in their quest to finding answers to these lingering questions have opted for the 'operation run for your life' and/or 'escape Nigeria' option by migrating abroad for greener pastures through all means possible even if they were not legit. The more the risk, the more they seem willing to attempt leaving this 'God-damned' country called Nigeria. Recent (slave trade) discoveries in Lybia is an excruciating occurrence one would not have ever imagined possible; greener pastures turning kidnappers dungeons.

Should they be blamed? Absolutely no. Sure, it is not a bad idea to dream and at the same time, locate one's dreamland, especially when all efforts to thrive become futile due to too many limiting factors militating against breaking even in your home country; actions and inactions of a microscopic few in government being the major cause of the dilemma, and, without any hope of the situations getting better in view. Ours is a country where 'traveling out' is a major testimony, even if it is to Garbon.

Definitely, something is wrong somewhere, but believe me, the Master of the universe never makes mistakes. He could have made many of us Americans should that be His will. After all, He made some to be first class citizens in the world's most thriving countries. No doubt, He must have a purpose for making us who we are, where we are and how we are.

Ruminating over all these, I couldn't help but submit that, there is no other purpose for which we are here at this point in time than to use our various potentials to salvage this country. Let he who is talented musically write songs that will cause the CHANGE we so much need. Let us all resolve to use our talents to rewrite our stories.

Let us with our great talents and exceptional skills frustrate poverty out of our land. Enough of having greedy individuals who have no values for us ruling over us, it is time we channel our efforts toward building the Nigeria of our dream because we will never THRIVE under those who are too outdated to embrace technology and, too rigid to be flexible!

We are here for a purpose - to salvage Nigeria from scavengers with all potentials embedded in us, individually and collectively. We are destined for greatness!

PoliticsNigerian Youths Must Be Proactive Now More Than Ever, Prophet Adekola by SharpmindsAC(op):
FEBRUARY 1ST, 2ND & 3RD 2018 HAVE BEEN DECLARED A NATIONAL FASTING AND PRAYER DAY FOR NIGERIAN YOUTHS ALL OVER THE FEDERATION, TO SEEK GOD'S FACE IN THEIR QUEST TO LIBERATE NIGERIA - PROPHET ADEBAYO ADEKOLA, PRAYER BARRACKS MINISTRIES INT'L

MODE: PRAYER BY 6AM, 9AM, 12NOON AND 3PM (WHERE THE YOUTHS WOULD CONVERGE IN CELLS THROUGHOUT NIGERIA)

The ever timely word of the Lord came unto me according to Ezra 10:4, saying, "Arise; for this matter belongeth unto thee: we also will be with thee: be of good courage, and do it", to all Nigerian Youths, your time is now!

Just as Nehemiah who through passion for God and his fatherland (which was in ruin) became uncomfortable even in the midst of 'comfort' in a foreign land (because he was a captive) such that he mourned and lamented for days at the news of the woes of the remnants of his people left back home, he however never stopped at lamenting and/or mourning alone, he also took actions.

And, with the desire to make a difference and cause a change that would restore the Glory of Israel, he embarked on a fast and prayed unto God - a spiritual exercise/endeavour which eventually paved way for mercy and divine favour (to the point King Artaxerxes uncontrollably granted him all his requests without queries), that made the rebuilding of the wall, an upheaval and seemingly impossible task easy for him to execute.

It is in like manner that you too must seek the face of God even in your quest to liberate Nigeria, your fatherland, you being the Nehemiah(s) of this time. And I pray that, all that you need, to achieve this seemingly impossible task shall be provided for you miraculously! (Amen). Therefore, it is expedient for you to embark on this 3-day prayer and fasting programme. Do not forget, it is *the first three days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 1st, 2nd & 3rd February, 2018).

- Father, make provisions according to Your might for project 'Nigeria of our Dream' as being embarked on by the youths (Nehemiah 2:8-9)

PoliticsAn Open Letter To Nigerian Youths At This Point In Time, Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa by SharpmindsAC(op): 6:31pm On Jan 28, 2018
AN OPEN LETTER TO NIGERIAN YOUTHS
AT THIS POINT IN TIME - (AT~PIT
)
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

Dear Leaders of Today,
"A great door and effectual is opened unto you, but, there are many adversaries."

It is no secret how high the level of your awakening is. It is overwhelming. It is encouraging. It is incredible. In fact, it has rejuvenated hope in the people who have given up on Nigeria. Hope that sufferings, woes and afflictions would end sooner than later by virtue of freshness hanging in the air, waiting to replace the old, right the wrongs and fill vacuums.

That the same category of people (Youths) who are always being used as weapons of mass destruction by the enemies of Nigeria suddenly awoke and desire that the table should turn for good is nothing natural but, supernatural. The 'powers that be' never prepared for this. They are caught unguarded! They have their game-plans scattered on the peripheral but, do not rejoice just yet, for they know how to manipulate. They have mastered craftiness to the point that whatever enterprise they venture into, must be favourable to them, no matter the COST!

Howbeit, it is true that you are the hope and at the same time, the message to quench the thirst of Nigerians at this point in time. It is also true that you have the ideas that could turn the fortunes of our dear country around in the shortest time imaginable. Your passion, zeal and enthusiasm; technicalities and knowledge cannot be overemphasized yet, there is still a lot more to be done, beyond the physical or may I say, peripheral.

Yes, there is more to be done. And, speaking of more, let it be crystal clear that, the 'powers that be' won't give up just like that. To unseat them and rid them of power, good ideas and enthusiasm plus timely message alone won't do. If nothing else, the 'powers that be' would go extra miles. They will do all in their capacities to remain relevant forever, after all, they have their grip on power already and all they need do is become more formidable. Remember, they THRIVE at the detriment of the people.

Therefore, Nigerian Youths, seek not yet repose for your adversaries have switched to the spiritual. They understand time and season. They are wise in their own ways. They know that they do not have the message to woo the people anymore. They are also aware that their time is getting to an end as the people are tired of their reign, however, they are ready to give all it will cost to remain on the corridor of power for as long as possible. I beseech you to as a matter of urgency switch too. Power must march power at this Junction.

I must however also make it clear that, you cannot march them using diabolical means. They are deeper than you can think or imagine. Human lives are of no value to them, they can comfortably sacrifice more than a thousand human heads for rituals in a day, if and/or when they are required to. And, apart from being diabolical, they also have the luxury of unimaginable wealth accrued via crooked means. They are in charge of the military and all other security forces/outfits.

I am not trying to scare you, rather, I am unveiling to you what and who you are up against. For you wrestle not against blood and flesh but principalities and powers in high places. You do not have their kind of money neither do you have access to military power, but one thing I am sure of is, Almighty God who rules in the affairs of men, the owner of ALL POWERS in heaven, on earth and underneath the earth is with you and all you need do is hold unto Him fervently.

Holding unto God at this point in time is beyond being religious. It is encountering His Power on the Altar of Prayer and Fasting. You are at war, hence, you cannot afford to be carnal for your enemies are sophisticated. If they will give all it would take to hold on to power, then you must be ready to do more if you are to dethrone them. It will be disastrous however if by now you are still going about this Revolution doing the ordinary with a regular approach and mentality while they (the adversaries) have already changed gear in the spirit realm.

Dear Revolutionaries, it is expedient that you know that, this kind cannot be achieved doing the ordinary. Yes, extraordinary is standing out among the crowd to challenge the existing modalities; also, extraordinary is making your voices heard to the point that the enemies' game-plan is scattered, however, more than that is becoming a force to reckon with in the spirit realm, because that is where the battle will be won.

I therefore challenge you to wake up and crave for power that terrorises the forces of darkness. Who shall rid a powerful man of power but a more powerful? It is therefore an error if all you do till now is visit your place of worship on a weekly basis as a regular. Beyond that, dig deeper. Go on spiritual exercises to strengthen your spirit man. Also, you will be a cheap prey to the enemy if you sleep all night without waking to pray. You may be asking why? Well, it is simply because you have been chosen as a soldier of liberation and you either destroy the enemy or the enemy destroys you. You are no neutral. Don't be deceived, you cannot seat on the fence!

Finally, I pray for you to receive Grace to pay the price for power! It is not easy but it is inevitable. Without power, life is miserable. Whereas, with power, everything (including the forces of nature) answer to one cheaply. When you encounter power, those in control of wealth will come begging to finance you, you won't be the one begging them.

God bless!

Yours in Revolution,

Nigeria Was Sold But Shall Be Redeemed, Prophet Adebayo Adekola

25-01-2018

The minister in charge of Prayer Barracks Ministries International, Prophet Adebayo Adekola has said it is time for a new dawn in Nigeria.

Speaking in Efon Alaye, Ekiti State on Thursday 25th January, 2018 during an annual prayer programme organized by Christ Apostolic Church worldwide, tagged "New Name", he said, "Nigeria was sold for nothing and will be redeemed without cost. God will pass through Nigeria and shake off the dust."

He further lamented the present deteriorated condition of the Nigerian nation, saying, "God will cause new things to happen in Nigeria in all ramifications and new set of leaders shall emerge, which will mark the beginning of a new dawn.

"When the leadership of a nation lacks love and the will to make better the lots of the people, it is our duty as God's servants to pray them out and seek His face for better replacements. God has revealed that, the reign of all politicians marginalizing the people shall be brought to a sudden halt very soon and He shall enthrone leaders after His own heart that will rule the people in love."

He concluded by encouraging godly people to get involved in politics as God has promised to surely back them up, then shall the forces of evil be dethroned from positions of power. He said, "let those who fear God Almighty get involved in politics for it is the will of God for the righteous to rule, for when they rule, the people shall know peace of the Lord roundabout them."

The prophet, noted for His famous year 2018 prophecies where he prophesied that, the youths shall take over the mantle of leadership soon and that between 2018 and 2020, power shall change hand totally in Nigeria, also charged Nigerian youths to be prayerful to take their rightful place, saying, "a great and effectual door is opened unto the youths but there are adversaries."

PoliticsI Will Make Ekiti A Model State, Tosin Ajibare by SharpmindsAC(op): 11:04am On Jan 24, 2018

A 35 year old business administrator, Tosin Ajibare who is also the face of Ekiti Youths in the ongoing Sociopolitical Revolution has reiterated that the youths have all it takes to turn around the present woes of Ekiti and make her a model State to envy.

The Ikere-Ekiti indigene when contacted by our correspondent in his office said, "...we are superbly endowed with both natural and human resources to make Ekiti a model in the league of states. Watch it, in a short while, our children will not know the meaning of poverty until they check the dictionary."

He emphasized that, the future is now and there is no better time for a paradigm shift than now. He said, "before now, it was France where Marcron, a 39year old became President and recently, it is Austria, 31year old becoming a President, it is therefore not a question of if the youths are capable anymore and that is more reason we are doing all in our capacities to replicate this fit in Nigeria, especially, our dear Ekiti State..."

He further highlighted that his mission is to liberate Ekiti from parasitic leaders, to usher in a new generation of leaders that fear God and respect the people, to run a government where the lost hope of the younger generation is restored and fears of the older generation is erased and to create wealth and development through massive investment in our people.

Asked why he opted to run on Independent Democrats, a new political party, he stated the need for a new political structure that will paralyze the existing structures which have thrived on the people's vulnerability. He said, "we cannot cure evil with evil. Therefore, if we are going to get it right anytime soon, the people must as a matter of urgency build a new structure that will crumble APC and PDP and, their cohorts."

He however used the medium to solicit for the people's support for the historic move urging them to come out enmass it being the only sure way out of their present woes as it takes knowing where the shoe pinches to fix it, saying, "enough of friends of the masses who keep looting us point blank. Now, we the masses who are always at the receiving end will fix our problems ourselves."

Tosin Ajibare also known as GOLD is a son of the soil and, having being unanimously endorsed by Joint Council of Ekiti Youths which is the umbrella body of all youth organizations in Ekiti State, he will be running for the office of the Governor Of Ekiti state in the July 14th 2018 gubernatorial election. In his words, "I am not a friend of the masses, rather, I am of the masses and by God, victory is sure!"

PoliticsYAHAYA Bello Is Not A Yardstick To Measure Nigerian YOUTHS - Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa by SharpmindsAC(op): 2:45pm On Jan 04, 2018
SPARE US THE 'YAHAYA BELLO' SERMON!
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

As hard as I try to avoid comments on individuals in my write-ups, it is important that I help clear the air on this particular issue - Yahaya Bello as a disappointment, being chorused anytime we bring up the issue of Youths taking over power politically.

You will be getting it all wrong if you use Yahaya Bello as a YARDSTICK to measure the YOUTHS without asking these questions first: What are his antecedents? Which caucus is he from? Which cabals produced him? Was he himself ready for governance? Did he STRUGGLED for the post? Did he even campaigned? What were his promises to the people? Did he had manifestos not to talk of blueprint?

Remember, someone else worked vigorously for his present position and he (Yahaya Bello) only became the Governor because Audu died! And, truth be told, the deceased's running mate who 'shared' his principal's vision would have been a better option (well, that is a topic for another day).

However, be it as it may, we are talking about new breed of leaders, as against the present breed of greedy politicians who dominate the structure that produced Yahaya. New people, fresh blood, new ideologies void of greedy motives!

Finally, the one million dollar question is, how long will the youths keep loosing value for themselves as a force to be reckoned with? Are we supposed to have our heads bowed down because someone who is not from our camp is misbehaving? How is the misbehaviours from a product of curruption be our headache? That Yahaya or anyone else is a disappointment should not, and as a matter of fact, will not cause us not to strive for a better Nigeria. After all, 'the powers that be' intentionally planted Yahaya Bello there to prove that the youths do not have the 'capabilities' to lead and I laugh! You lost already!

Raise your heads dear NIGERIAN Youths, and whenever anybody whatsoever make reference to Yahaya and others like himself, tell them point black that Yahaya Bello is not representing us, rather, he is representing those whom we are up against, his age notwithstanding!

Therefore, spear us all the sermon of Yahaya Bello being a disappointment as a Youth representative occupying a major political office. He is not representing the Nigerian youths, rather, he is representing the APC cabals that installed him.

Also, he has only validated my RESOLUTIONS on the need for a new political structure entirely for good governance in Nigeria. As I have always reiterated, government is a major catalyst to nation building, and until we get good leaders into governance, our woes may not end anytime soon.

I rest my case!

PoliticsNot For Politics, My Rice Is Only Politically Branded - Governorship Aspirant by SharpmindsAC(op):
"THEY SAY THEIR RICE IS NOT POLITICALLY MOTIVATED, IT IS ONLY POLITICALLY BRANDED"
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

I must confess, I am not impressed. And as a matter of fact, most of us are not. It is now evident how one-channeled they could be. It is also obvious that if it has not been for young and vibrant brains working for them, they are embarrassingly empty!

The latest episode of their display of lunacy started about a week ago when one of them went back to his 'constituency' (even though it was to some selected few party leaders) to distribute what he called electronic gadgets among which were 1960s type of TV sets that looked more 'black and white' than coloured. Even the vulnerable Grandpas and Grannies who were beneficiaries of the so called 'empowerment programme' had an expression of disappointment on them. And why not, even they know that they could have it far better than what is being thrown at them.

Somewhere else, a display of malady that threw the community of the enlightened and learned worldwide into imbroglio followed. Yes. A professor who was viewed as a symbol of knowledge, and epitome of wisdom shocked the world when he too joined the bandwagon of mediocre(s) to distribute his own branded rice. One must wonder if it was his own idea or that of his lord from whom he had gotten an endorsement to run, the later perhaps. In fact, rumor has it that the same professor is doing everything possible to impress his boss and 'benefactor' in order to remain on his good side to the extent that he would do the most ridiculous things ever imagined.

And just as expected, a whole lot of them keep shooting themselves in the leg by doing the same old things that has always worked for them all, be it APC or PDP until now. And until the recent uprising against their evil manipulations of starving the people to a fault and coming periodically as messiahs to feed them with stipends of poverty, they would have received applauds and accolades for their 'heroics' and 'love' for the people.

But now, the same approach which has been a blessing in the past, is now a curse unto them. And just like in the words of one of their machineries who collected packaged branded rice from almost every party and aspirant that offered, "...yes, I will collect from them all, after all it is our stolen money that they have used to buy all these items." He further revealed a shocker when asked who he would finally work for, from amongst them all? He said, "I can't really tell for now. The work is getting more difficult and too frustrating by the day as there is nothing new to sell to the people about them. Even people like me are getting more vulnerable. It is almost a stigma now to reckon with them."

Now, do not get it twisted, most politicians and their machineries had their game plans well 'prepared', the only thing presently working against them is the changing orientation of the people they have always come to tell lies to. And that's why revolutionaries like myself were expecting them to step up their games. And when one of them, a governorship aspirant would defend his action of distributing branded rice, he said, "the rice I distributed is not politically motivated, it is only politically branded." I have actually been trying my best to separate the two phrases - 'politically motivated' and 'politically branded' since then.

PoliticsPmb And I Only Share One Thing In Common - Ahmed Buhari, Presidential Hopeful by SharpmindsAC(op): 12:17pm On Dec 18, 2017
A BRIEF ON THE TOWN HALL MEETING WITH H.E. AHMED BUHARI HELD AT BI-COURTNEY CONFERENCE HALL, MMA2, IKEJA LAGOS ON SATURDAY 16TH DECEMBER, 2017

THE PARTICIPANTS
Being a meeting open to the public, most of the participants who were yet to meet him were curiously eager to see Ahmed Buhari, the youngest presidential aspirant ever in Nigeria, and the African version of Marcron, in person and live.

In a frenzy atmosphere that presented all with a platform to interact with Ahmed Buhari in person, diverse questions were asked by people from various organizations, media outfits and groups, who took time to scrutinize Ahmed Buhari's personality, his aims and objectives, his plans and strategies to execute them to better Nigeria's present woes if given the mandate to saddle the Nigerian boat.

Responding to questions asked in style and in an impressively distinctive manner, Ahmed Buhari highlighted his plans and strategies to execute them around five pillars; Education, Agriculture, Economy, Security and Workable Policies to the satisfaction of all present.

RELATIONSHIP WITH PRESIDENT MUHAMMED BUHARI

"I am Ahmed Buhari from Kontagora, Niger State and I am not related to PMB by blood, it is coincidence that we share the same surname." This was his response to those asking of his connection(s) with President Mohammed Buhari whom he shares his surname with. He further joked that even his own son had at a point asked him whether PMB is his father, just to highlight how many who hear his name might think of their being related by blood.

POLITICAL PLATFORM
The political party that he would run on would be made public in due time but, it is neither APC nor PDP as both parties have disappointed Nigerians over and over again, hence, the need for a new platform. However, the collective work of building structures even to the ward level would not be disrupted as these structures would form the bases for the party when it finally comes.

TIME FOR ACTION!
In a session with the National Executive Council and State Executives later in the day, Mr. Babajide Akin-Thomas, President, Ahmed Buhari Campaign Group nationwide charged all State Executives to keep on the good work as they have been impressive hitherto with evidence of their great works vivid in the reports reaching the NEC from various quarters and the heavy representation of many States at the town hall meeting. He encouraged them to swing to action the more by taking the message to the grassroots in their various states.

His Excellency Ahmed Buhari congratulated the State Executives on their election into office, charging them to make full use of the opportunities presented them to achieve a great fit. He said "...the Nigeria of our Dream project is a collective task that needs all hands on deck, as much as you expect from me good representation and leadership, I also expect your total support and followership in return. By this, there would be a balance and we will be unstoppable!"

The meeting ended with a group photograph and exchange of pleasantries from stakeholders present.

Obasanjo meets with Youth Aspirants, encourages them and pledges total support for the Youth revolution

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo met with young aspirants yesterday as prove of his support for youths taking over political power. The meeting which was held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library had Ahmed Buhari, a young Presidential aspirant, Tunde Eso, a governorship aspirant from Osun State and Tosin Ajibare, the Ekiti Youths gubernatorial aspirant for the forthcoming July 14 2018 election with their respective crew in attendance.

"Emfrica", an international organization led by the regional head, Mr Jide Akin-Thomas was also in attendance.

At the meeting, Obasanjo encouraged the youths in their aspiration and told them to be prepared and determined as it will not be an easy task, stressing the fact that the existing leaders will not quit for youths of their own volition, "they will not retire unless you retire them" and that as youths, you have the wherewithal to retire them, work with your constituency as you form the largest voting block. It's been done before, it can be done again, "i became the head of state at the age of 27 and what i lacked in experience, i made up for in dedication & diligence".

Obasanjo also stressed the fact that he has always been an advocate of youth involvement in governance which was evident during his last administration as he had the largest number of youths in his cabinet. I also created the ministry of youth development when youths requested not to be Jam-packed under the women ministry anymore. He assured the youth aspirants of his support and assured them that he was totally for the youths pledging to walk the talk with them and support them in all ramifications as the future and progress of Nigeria depends on her youths.

The youths thanked his excellency for his continuous support and encouragement towards youths taking over as against some statesmen and leaders who still want to hold on to power after several decades not even minding the present situation of the country and the need to infuse new and relevant ideologies.

Empower Africa, also pledged their support for the youths and promised to aid the aspirants in the aspect of funding their campaign. The regional head, Mr. Jide Akin-Thomas in his words said with what Nigeria politics have become, especially in the aspect of finance, our youth aspirants should not be expected to possess such obscene amount of money, if they do, then they are not worthy of our support because that should be a pointer that they have made such money illegally, given the economic situation of this country but with all our collective support, we can provide what is needed to change the face of governance & bring young and new breed of leaders into power.
