THEY ARE DILIGENTLY DOING THEIR JOB WELL, YOU ARE THE ONE LAGGING BEHIND! (PART 2)
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

"The wicked do evil fantastically well... On the scale of Merit, they deserve the Award of Excellence, periodically" - Sharpminds

Akin is seen in his office, restless and distressed, worn out and moody. Stranded. An embodiment of frustration personified. He had just received a phone call from Dupe (his wife)

AKIN: (soliloquizing) Hmm, blessed are the hopeless for they shall never be disappointed... Hopeless! (Laughs sarcastically) This is not the first time he would be doing this, I refuse to be disappointed by this...

phone rings again and he picks

AKIN: Hello... Hem, hem, sweetheart, I am still waiting for him... Yes, I have called him, I cannot get through to him yet... Okay, that would be better... But, but... Hello! Hello! (line drops) Ah! (continues soliloquizing) I hope she knows I have no penny on me right now...

(15 minutes later) Dupe walks in and finds Akin seated on the table sweating

AKIN: I...I was trying to tell you the other time that I have no penny on me and... (looks at the doorway expecting the approach of an okada rider requesting his pay)

DUPE: (cuts in) Don't worry dear. I understood you even though my airtime got exhausted. I actually got hundred Naira from mummy so I could board a cab and join you as soon as possible...

AKIN: You've done well my dear... Can you just imagine this sort of embarrassment? How could mere transport fare become a mountain to climb? How did we get to this point where we need to calculatedly strategize before we do the least of endeavours?

DUPE: Sweetie, you had better relax, this unbearable situation is almost general. Hmm, you won't believe it if I tell you that there could be a lot of flops in the preparation for Lara's wedding due to lack of cash because as I speak right now, the major things needed are yet to be purchased thanks to chains of disappointments... Hmmm... Have you forgotten how unbelievable it was when last week we urgently needed just five hundred Naira to fuel the car so that we could help Iya Precious to the clinic but couldn't raise it in a whole street?

AKIN: Hmm... Abi ooo! You know what? I have noticed of recent that most people are living in penury... Abject poverty ni ooo... They eat what is available when it's available and most times would need to calculate and strategize before a meal can be made manifest... (Smiles)

DUPE: What's funny?

AKIN: Wifey, the whole situation is. You know, life is so ironical. Here we are wallowing in lack, working diligently with little to show for it... I mean, look at us! Aren't we working? You and I haven't been paid our salaries for months... Here we are, broke to the tooth as though we rely on our monthly take-homes alone... Even our other channels of income are not forthcoming as our customers and clients are also in lack and wants... Whereas, there are people who do nothing save making life difficult for the people who enjoy virtually everything good in life!

DUPE: Hmmm... Even as we speak right now, we have almost exhausted the stock as we keep selling on credit to our vulnerable colleagues and neighbours... Sweetie, that's by the way, how do we get home from here? Or should we start trekking?

AKIN: What? Trekking is not an option... Well, as I said on the phone the other time, I told Mr. Josh that I have no means of getting home and he promised to help me. He however left about an hour ago in search of money for fuel... He has no fuel in his bike, he went to check on a friend not far from here to see if he could get some money for fuel. But you know how unreliable Mr. Josh has proven to be in terms of keeping promises? I'd rather we look for another alternative to him if truly we are to get home anytime soon... Concerning Mr. Josh, I'm hopelessly hopeless!

DUPE: Well then, should that be the case, let me call Mama James if she could help us with one hundred and fifty Naira for bike fare... We will just tell the bike man that we will be paying him when we get home

AKIN: (nods in approval) That's a good idea... But, your airtime is exhausted and I have reached my credit limit too, how do you intend to get through to her?

DUPE: I haven't reached my credit limit yet, so I can still borrow airtime on my sim card... (dials the code... Puts a call through to Mama James) Hello Mama James, please I need a favour of you... Yes, it's nothing much... Okay... I just need one hundred and fifty Naira that I could use to settle bike fare, I'm a bit stranded right here... Seriously? Wow... Okay, thanks!

AKINsadenthusiastically) what's the news, anything good?

DUPE: (remorsefully) no show ooo. She said she only has twenty Naira in the whole house... Hmm... This is serious ooo! So, what's our hope? Can we continue like this? I mean, can we all continue to wallow in poverty like this?

JOSH: (enters ghostly in a bid to surprise them) Hmm, husband and wife... I've been listening to your conversation for almost five minutes now... Mr. Akin, I'm sorry for not coming to time, it's due to what I met at my friend's place... But, it's for good though...

AKIN: It's nothing. I have vowed never to be disappointed in you again... Well, can you break the good news right away?

JOSH: You know that the only reason why these bad politicians keep thriving is because no one good has given them a run for their money by challenging them for real?

DUPE: (Interestingly) Yes...

AKIN: Sure...

JOSH: Well, the good news is that the YOUTHS have teamed up to challenge them at the poll in next election by endorsing one of their own, Tosin Ajibare from among the masses to contest for the post of Governor come 2018... In fact, I couldn't believe my hears until I saw it on the various major National dailies... Trust me when I say the momentum is high already...

DUPE: Okay... I heard it on various newspaper review programmes early yesterday but I thought it's another political gimmick as usual. But as you have said it, this is a good development...

AKIN: As for me ooo, I will only cast my vote for any candidate that is fresh, youthful, energetic, competent and is not from any of these established secret societies called political parties or any of their conglomerate or merging... I'm tired of choosing between devils!

DUPE: So, how do we go about making this vision a reality?

JOSH: Quite simple and straightforward. Firstly, you obtain your PVC and guard it jealously till the election day, in a bid to dethrone POVERTY and BACKWARDNESS, and, enthrone PROSPERITY and RAPID DEVELOPMENT. Secondly, inform others of this great development and encourage them to persevere till we successfully chase them (polithievians) away. Thirdly, Shun their stipends of poverty which have done us no good so far. And together we shall chase them away from our land!

ALL: TOGETHER, WE SHALL CHASE THEM AWAY FROM OUR LAND!

JOSH: Remember, evil thrive because the good do no good to counter it save their resounding silence! Now is the time to take responsibility!

Ado-Ekiti

Ado-Ekiti was agog yesterday Wednesday 16th August, 2017 as Independent Democrats (The 3rd Force) held her State Congress at the party Secretariat located at 210 Adkins House Ajilosun Ado-Ekiti.

The historic event which featured as its main agenda the inauguration of the party's State Executives, had in presence officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), National Delegates of the Independent Democrats, State and Local Government Delegates of Independent Democrats Ekiti State, officials of IPAC and security agents.

The Chairman of Independent Democrats Ekiti State, Hon. Adeyemi Adeniyi Emmanuel thanked all and sundry for gracing the occasion and also the various officials that came from the various sectors concerned.

Below is the inaugural speech delivered by Hon. Adeyemi Adeniyi Emmanuel, the CHAIRMAN of Independent Democrats Ekiti State.

INAUGURAL SPEECH BY HON. ADEYEMI ADENIYI EMMANUEL, CHAIRMAN INDEPENDENT DEMOCRATS EKITI STATE, AT THE PARTY'S STATE CONGRESS HELD ON WEDNESDAY 16TH AUGUST, 2017

Distinguished Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to welcome you all to this historic event, the state CONGRESS of Independent Democrats (ID), which features as its main agenda the inauguration of the state Executives of our great party for the approaching Ekiti Gubernatorial Election in 2018. Today is a major signpost on our journey to a new Ekiti. At this event, not only will the State Executives of our great party emerge, we also have the opportunity to demonstrate to the good people of Ekiti State, our democratic credentials by the way we conduct ourselves and the businesses of the day.

Today, we appeal to the hearts and minds of the Ekiti people, who are desperately seeking a better life void of poverty and backwardness, and are ready to take responsibility for their lives by actively participating in partisan politics towards bringing about that positive change, but have rejected the existing political parties, especially those they have given the opportunity to in time past, but have failed the Ekiti people. Today, we present to the good people of Ekiti State the better alternative to bringing about good governance and dividends of Democracy as against the existing modality of having no choice but to choose between two devils which have not been profitable to the masses thus far. Today, we have shown to the Ekiti people that Independent Democrats (ID) is the third force to salvage this state from her looming underdevelopment. Today, we have shown to Ekiti people why Independent Democrats is totally different.

It is important to remind this august gathering that though there have been the introduction of new political parties in the history of Ekiti state since 1999, ID is a result of the masses' cry for a generational power shift from the existing modalities and political parties in the history of politics in Ekiti State. ID represents the first real opportunity for the Ekiti people to not only deliver a credible leader to take Ekiti State to a greater height, but also to dethrone bad governance, poverty and mediocrity gifted them by the existing political parties. I am delighted to announce to you that ID is the party long awaited for by the good people of Ekiti State to take them out of enslavement of the Egyptians to the promised land, and we are making tremendous progress even as new people who had given up hope on the Nigerian Politics as a whole, now have their hopes back in ID, getting involved actively.

I thank the national leaders of our great party especially the national CHAIRMAN in person of Hon. Edozie Madu for the confidence reposed in me and my fellow executives to establish and coordinate ID (the 3rd Force) in Ekiti. Also, I appreciate the tremendous support you have given to us in the discharge of this noble assignment. I must also thank the just inaugurated capable and articulate executives and by extension all co-opted members that served in the various committees, for the patriotic zeal and dedication to service they have put into the organization of this event. The local government delegates and leaders of our great party across the LGAs and beyond have also been very supportive in ensuring seamless coordination and implementation of our directives at the local government and ward levels.

Also worthy of mention are the numerous volunteers – who sacrificed their time and deployed their competencies to make today a reality. This event would not have been possible without the robust support of our amiable leaders, especially, TOSIN AJIBARE who worked tirelessly to support the State Congress Committee in delivering a successful event.

Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to affirm that all our state executive members are eminently qualified to take ID to the level of bringing about the betterment we all desire in our state. They have met all requisites. They all therefore have what it takes to excel and stiffen out mediocrity as being celebrated presently by the other parties. It is heartwarming that they have all demonstrated a high degree of loyalty and commitment to the cause of making ID formidable enough to trample to the ground those parties trading with the people's lives, and have all also pledged to abide by the cores value of our party which is taking power back to the masses. This is highly commendable and holds the promise of a united and credible challenge against the APC and the PDP, and our eventual victory at the Gubernatorial Election in 2018.

We will move on from this congress to fulfill all other formalities and commence an intensive work aimed at redeeming our land and our people. And, by the grace of God, we will move on from here and go on to win the Gubernatoial Election in 2018.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is on this note that I charge you all to do all in your capacity to see to it that this vision, our ideals see the light of the day, for our future’s sake and that of the unborn generation. And I say a big congratulations to Ekiti State and the great people therein for the success of the Congress of our great party.

May God bless us all!
May God bless the Independent Democrats (ID)!
May God bless Ekiti State!
May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

Thank you for listening.

CareerEmotions As Pastor Rotimi Adalumo Of Living Faith Adebayo2 Bids Members Farewell by SharpmindsAC(op): 4:01pm On Aug 13, 2017
PASTOR ROTIMI ADALUMO CAME, SAW AND CONQUERED BY GOD!
...Jeremiah 3:15 fulfilled in the lives of LFC Adebayo2 members
By: OLABODE O. SAMUEL

Just like yesterday, precisely about two years, two months and two weeks ago came the news that our then Pastor had been transfered and we have another in the person of Pastor Rotimi Adalumo. To be candid and honest, we were so used to having Southerners and Easterners as our pastors (from time past), that we knew not what to make of him - nor his personality. We became more curious when we later learned that he's from Ekiti. This very Ekiti State? Huhhuh Fingers crossed!

Finally, most of us could only meet him for the first time the following Sunday. Behold a tall, dark, handsome looking, spirit filled man of God standing before the worshippers, his style of delivering the message captivating and soul lifting. He continued a particular series of messages for the month of May, 2015, and it was an experience for as many that were present in that particular service. And I heard some say, this Pastor is loaded o!

He has been privileged to pastor bigger churches far larger than LFC Adebayo2, and as a matter of fact, he is well used to a larger congregation of people that he had a surprising look on his face when the service finally ended that Sunday. He must have been like: "are we done for the day for real?" Whereas, to we the worshippers, we had a wonderful service; to him? Yes, the service was wonderful but it could be better!

Little wonder, every member of LFC ADEBAYO2 was turned to an evangelist from then henceforth. I mean, Pastor Rotimi Adalumo is so zealous about evangelism that, the validity of everyone's membership is in his/her role in soul winning endeavours, especially, the Saturday morning outreaches. And to quote Papa, "I am not surprised that we're where we are today, I would have been surprised if we were not here!"

In the space of three months, the CHANGE AGENT'S impact was so glaringly obvious that virtually all aspects of the church (physically and spiritually) have experienced one transformation or the other. New generator; more chairs; new building for the children, fully furnished and equipped; general rebranding of the church building, even to the point of repainting! There are also a whole lot of practical miracles in which God Almighty wrought through His servant.

God's plan for LFC ADEBAYO2 is bigger than our former site at Similoluwa, and He, being the master planner so much designed our elevation to the next level in a mysterious way, especially, as Pastor Rotimi Adalumo (the goal getter), was the one in charge as at that point in time. It all started with a problem - we were given a quit notice where we were using with an ultimatum. "How possible?" was all some of us could ask. We never knew that, just as Joseph's case in the Bible, we were also being prepared for the next level.

Something led to something else and here we are out of 'Enitan' as Pastor Rotimi would call it, in a bigger auditorium, not just any auditorium, but the one being used by our mother church - LFC ADEBAYO1 beforehand, who have also been elevated to their permanent site!

Just as Pastor has desired, we became mega. I mean mega! A church of just 69 members (both children and adults) when he came in, now around 700 worshippers on Sundays as he's leaving. That's above 1000%! A whopping result of diligence, dedication, zeal and God's grace upon his life! What more shall I say of the various miracles now synonymous to the church? Talk of a place to receive divine healing, talk of LFC ADEBAYO2; are you looking for a place where they don't cast their young? Come to LFC ADEBAYO2... There's even quite an interesting one: our pregnant women don't go to the labour room, they rather go to the delivery room!

Also, most of us singles when he came around are now married. For someone like myself, I didn't carry his first year in our midst over that I got hooked to my beautiful wife! Also, most of our graduates and corpers can testify to it that LFC ADEBAYO2 is a place to get one's miracle job! And speaking of corpers, our church has become their place of worship as Pastor Rotimi would rather stay awake devising ways to get them fixed (job-wise) than to have them stranded. Little wonder they are always exempted from the trauma of Nigeria's labour market because for them, it is the favour market!

Dear Pastor, it was shocking when we heard that you have been transferred. And as a matter of fact, and perhaps we are being too selfish, we, or may I say, I never considered it would come this 'early' as I am not just prepared for it (I wonder if I have ever been though). And just as you have prayed for us that we shall do great exploits and that your successor would do greater things than you have done, we say a big AMEN but, we also want you to know that, our memory of you will linger forever! You have left a big shoe which would be difficult for anyone to fill... We love you and wish you great success in your new station!

PoliticsDear Leaders, It Is Time You Left Us For Good by SharpmindsAC(op):
[sub][/sub]DEAR LEADERS, IT IS TIME YOU LEAVE US FOR GOOD!
By: TOSIN AJIBARE (GOLD)

At this point in time, we have decided to bring some salient points to your notice, in order for you to know where we stand and where you stand with us.

Our fathers were born in this land and so were their fathers before them. By act of providence, doggedness and a combination of other factors they remained in this land, even during the era of slavery and its attendant holocaust.

This is our land, this is home and for your information, we have no intention whatsoever of changing that fact.
We do not intend to apply for Visa to any Country. We have no plans of playing Visa lottery. We have no plans of trekking through the trans-Saharan routes of Libya to Europe.

Forget Malaysia, our Kidneys are ours; forget Dubai, we are nobody’s security guard. Even Ghana there, we are not going not to talk of South Africa. We do not want green card from any Country; we have enough green in our flags and we are not going anywhere to look for greener pastures; we must have it in this land of ours.

We are Nigerians and Nigeria is ours, whosoever will not allow us to live like decent human beings in our own home, should start packing his or her bag, UK is now offering a 24 hour super priority Visa Service in Nigeria.

Our decision is to take our lives from you.

We wholeheartedly appreciate what you have done with our lives so far, all your sincere and tangible efforts to waste us away at the prime of our lives. May heaven reward you accordingly, may you reap the fruits of your greed in seven times seventy folds!

We know you still have gargantuan plans for us, but sincerely we have had enough of you, just leave! We will solve our own problem. After all, it’s our problem, not yours, it’s not you that is unemployed, neither is it your children. It’s not you that is living in poverty; you live a life of decadence and as a matter of fact our problems are just so different from yours.

However, don’t bother trying to reason us out, there is no room for negotiations. Just leave at once!

Our time is now, and now it is. Power to the Youths for better life!

Thanks for your unusual cooperation, hope you have a peaceful retirement.

AS WE ARE DOING OUR PART... YOU HAVE TO DO YOURS TOO!
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

"Our strategy is not only to confront this present system dominated by looting, corruption and mediocrity, but to lay siege to it. To deprive it of oxygen. To shame it. To mock it. With our resilience, our determination, our stubbornness, our numbers, our skills, our brilliance, our sheer relentlessness, our doggedness – and our resolution to take responsibility for our lives."

Challenging the existing modalities in the first instance sounds absurd especially to the weakling, a mere fantasy to the learned and, comedy at its peak to those benefiting from the present system in DECADENCE - the polithievians.

We were mocked and laughed at, ridiculed and tagged insane. They asked if we thought the top seat is a child's play - (Atari ajanaku, kii se eru omode), yet they never stop stealing our ideas. They never leave us for once without spies monitoring our every move (I wonder why they are so concerned when it is mere comedy to them).

We are prepared for the worst and never bother about them. We are damn determined to challenge them intellectually knowing fully well that it is a lifeline for us all at this point in time. We cannot afford to fold our alms while our lives are being wasted in our prime!

They trembled to their spines when Ekiti Youths under the umbrella of Joint Council of Ekiti Youths, the apex body of all YOUTH organizations in Ekiti State unanimously endorsed Mr. TOSIN AJIBARE (GOLD) as the face of Ekiti Youths at the POLL come 2018. Hmmm Gold they know. His resilience, fearlessness, boldness, resourcefulness and brilliance is just too much to bear for them. TOSIN AJIBARE (GOLD) being the chosen is nothing but a knock out to their game plan!

They were embarrassed when we boycotted their parties as that's where they have all been waiting to get us - who will give us ticket in their parties? No one of course! We don't have millions to waste for nothing... For goodness sake, I disdain their mentality!

Now, we brought the YOUTH party - Independent Democrats and what they have to say is it being a new party yet to be known to the people, forgetting that, the same people are tired of their parties already... Unfortunately for them, they are still romancing their corpses and all efforts to resurrect them will only lead to their final burials!

Now, the ball is in your court, we have put our whole to simplifying this even though it is at a cost to us. Every limiting factor is being tactically tackled. All that is left for you all is to obtain your voters card and guard it jealously till the election date when we will unanimously send them packing from our dear state. After all, we have always been left with no options than to choose between devils in time past, this time around, we are given the opportunity to choose better Life! Enough of their hanky-panky... Enough of panda, Go4Gold!

Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing. - Arundhati Roy; War Talk

PoliticsDouble Wahala For Dead-body; More For The Living! by SharpmindsAC(op): 11:36am On Aug 07, 2017
DOUBLE WAHALA FOR DEAD-BODY, MORE FOR THE LIVING!
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

It is no more news how Nigerians keep experiencing avoidable delays on the highways across the country. And as a matter of fact, travelers and road users most times envisage such delays and sometimes plan ahead, calculatedly summing it up with the supposed duration of their journey.

Even though these instances have become a trend in Nigeria thereby making it no big deal, I experienced a worrisome situation in which a journey of less than 3hours turned 9hours! Did I just hear you hissed, saying "ordinary 6hours added, and you're complaining?" Yes, a whopping irrecoverable 6 hours of my life stranded on the road because some IRRESPONSIBLE elements were playing blame game!

And that reminds me of this: _"There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done."_

With more than 500 vehicles stuck at both sides due to pit-like potholes which have resulted in the falling of many trucks carrying loads, we all came down, devising a way out, using other trucks to pull and clear the unimaginably poor pathway. This we continued and were succeeding in doing when suddenly some vehicles came fast approaching, it caught the attention of all, what could be wrong with these people, were they going to fly?

Lo and behold, it was the entourage of a politician! Trust me when I say, "BAD TIMING". As they got to us, the policemen came down and attempted to make a way where there was no way, jumping up and down, coercively bullying their way until they themselves got stuck! And the events that followed validated the fact that, an intellectual Revolution is a lifeline for us all, because bloody Revolution would be too costly for a country such as ours.

The politician (name withheld) was forced by persistent request from us to come down from his Jeep. He gave the same old story of how the road is a federal road and the contractor is not doing well and jargons plus jargons which is equal to NONSENSE from a NO-BRAINER! A vibrant young man, cut in furiously saying, " Mr. Politician, you had better enjoy this last few moment of you and your cohorts devastating reign over NIGERIA because it is the beginning of an end to your era already... For crying out loud, to whom brain is given, sense is expected, how can a road be like this when all that would fix it is stipends compared to what you individually take-home for doing nothing to benefit this country?"

And that was how this young man stole the show from the supposed established politician... The politician was embarrassed and he was lucky his aides had found a way to maneuver themselves out of the looming mess. He sluggishly entered into his Jeep and off he was rescued.

A short while later came a vehicle carrying a coffin, with leaves attached to it, front and back, and it also got stuck. I went close to the vehicle and saw depression on the faces of the occupants. They were mute, yet I could loudly hear their agony - an untimely death of their brother (a breadwinner) who I later learned died in an autocrash caused by bad road, his car got into a very deep potholes in the night and he tumbled many times before a tree stopped the car, and there was little those who were around could do as it was far from the next town. And now, to add insult to injury, his corpse is stuck again because of the same bad road network that claimed his life? Hmmm... double WAHALA FOR DEAD-BODY!

There after I met a Corp member (NYSC) currently serving in Maiduguri narrating his plight and ordeal of being on the road for 8 days already and yet to reach his destination due various bad road networks. He said he had been stuck for more than 16hours on a spot in one of those experiences. It was then that I discovered that, not only do these present breed of position occupants called politicians who are mere dealers rather than leaders loot our Commonwealth, they also tactically waste our lives actively and passively! Hmmmm... MORE WAHALA FOR THE LIVING!

Time they say, is money. But as far as I am concerned, time is beyond money, time is Life itself! Because any second spent or lost cannot be recovered again, it is gone forever!

A former commissioner of a southwestern State who was also stuck shook his head and said "what sort of disgrace is this, in this same world where some advanced countries are devising techniques to remote control their road networks, we are still struggling with mere bitumen!" He caught my attention and went close to him, introducing myself to him and telling him that the best bet is for us to have a generational power shift to the YOUTHS as it is long overdue.

He agreed with me on that and he said something which I believe is a message to all Nigerian Youths - "Youths will only TAKEOVER power when they can be resolute enough not to sellout... Poverty is a long term tool devised by the ruling class to tame you; face the hunger squarely, once and for all and get what is rightfully yours as that's the only way out of this mess!"

I rest my case...

PoliticsOur Vulnerability: A Long Term Plan By The Elites by SharpmindsAC(op): 9:51am On Aug 02, 2017
OUR VULNERABILITY: A LONG TERM PLAN BY THE 'ELITES'
By: Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa

The reality in Nigeria is that the children of the elites (especially politicians) are 'settled' and have their future 'secured' at the expense of the masses whom their parents keep looting without mercy.

First, they made sure our parents didn't get their salaries as at when due. As a result of this, our parents could only give us what is available in feeding, education, amenities etc.

While they shared our parents taxes from the salaries they didn't pay them and used it to feed and educate their children overseas.

Secondly, they noticed that some of our poor parents were stubborn and dedicated to seeing that we succeed.

They created colleges of Education and Polytechnics for the children of the poor and restricted the university education for their children. But some stubborn children of poor parents still went ahead to score very great grades in NECO and WAEC combined with good scores in Jamb. Noticing this, the powerful created an arrangement where you can only be admitted to study professional courses only if you take letters which originated from Abuja to VC of the university.

So after seeing that some children of the poor parents were stubborn and dedicated to their study and graduated from universities, they make sure we don't get employed. When you see a job opening, be very sure that 15,000 of your kind have applied for the job but it is retained for the son of a minister who is yet to graduate from university.

So we continue sleeping on couches in our parents homes and we console ourselves by drinking beer with the pocket money our parents managed to give us.

Then the government issue a multiple employment positions, take it or leave it, those positions have already been filled by those more connected than you.

So election time is here, they come around to exploit your innocence and desperation. They give you #20,000, an AK47 and they use you to snatch ballot boxes. And a dedicated policeman or military officer sees that you are a nuisance, he pulls his trigger and booom, you are dead. Who is your sponsor? Nobody.

They achieved their aim over you. So their children come out and contest to be members of the House of Representatives just like the parents. Nobody asks for their experience at this stage, but remember they requested a 7year working experience from you before you can get a position to work in the field you were trained for 5years and two years of regular strike. So our parents served their parents and we are serving their children. But I have chosen a path.

And finally, they concluded on helping us, they told us to go and register online to be able to get #5000 monthly payment from the government while their children get #50 million naira furniture allowance.

Clap for yourself!!!!

EducationNigerian Education Is For The Vulnerable by SharpmindsAC(op): 11:43am On Jul 16, 2017

...THEY ARE SETTLED AT OUR EXPENSE!

Saraki's son graduated from London, school of economics. (Education here in Nigeria is not up to their standard thanks to them)

Buhari's son just finished his masters abroad. (That is, even the son of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is not proud of his father)

LAUTECH has been under lock and keys for more than 10 months and nothing is being done about it. (Why not? Isn't it for the vulnerable)

Their sons will take up jobs in CBN while you struggle for Npower jobs. (Definitely, the CBN jobs are for the landlords in Nigeria and Npower jobs, for the tenants therein)

Therefore, if you're still fighting people because of politicians. Your 'mumu' can't be cured.

The 'friends of the masses' have not profited the masses so far... It is time for the masses to help themselves. May God bless the weaker animals and save them from Hyenas and Jalkas.

PoliticsFinally, The Long Awaited Miracle Of This Generation Is Here! by SharpmindsAC(op):

Youths Sociopolitical Revolution Loaded...

Let it be known that, it has happened already! And let all that call on the name of God Almighty for intervention in our land raise their voice in one accord and celebrate the Him for swift answer to our collective prayer via this divine agenda - the Youth Revolution. He is frustrating the devices of the crafty evil doers in our land who are sworn enemies of progress, and they can never recover!

They call themselves principalities, they say they are in charge; in charge of the people's destinies, in charge of their fate, thereby taking the place of God. Little do they know that He is a jealous God! They have made themselves demigods over the people, demoting the majority to the point of losing their self worth and values, leaving them suffering and smiling.

They live lives of decadence, wasting away resources meant for all, while the majority wallow in abject poverty - 3 square meal per day becoming a spectacular miracle. As a matter of fact, they eat what they want when they want it whereas, the masses eat whatever is available, whenever it is available. No wonder the people look so pale and hungry. Starvation has taken its toll on them.

Then God heard the cry of His people just as in the ancient time when He raised from among them Moses to deliver the Israelites from the land of Egypt. This time around, stirring up the heart of some young adults, giving them a mandate to set free His people now; presently, and not later, saying; "I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows and I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians! And just as He did in the pasLetHeLetHe is set to do it again.

At last, God has looked down from above to answer our long term prayer of deliverance from the taskmasters who are nothing but a symbol of poverty, backwardness and demotion! These young men started out (as far back as 2015) by returning to God who has sent them, asking Him for Divine Direction. God answered them. He gave them step to step guideline on how to get the task ahead done.

Among other instructions, He said they should not do what their predecessors did because that is why they are getting it all wrong and the result is devastatingly vivid. He said, He alone is God and He alone can solve our problems. Therefore, we must all return back to Him, placing our affairs on His shoulder, for the Government shall be upon his shoulder...

People, I may not be able to tell you all that have happened in the journey so far, but, according to God's instruction, the journey is at the phase of intensive prayer as we draw closer to the destination for this segment. Remember, the Devil and his agents are full of crafty devices, and God's promise is that He shall frustrate them, that their hands cannot perform their enterprise! Therefore, we enjoin you all to pray unto Him concerning the preservation and actualization of this Divine Agenda of liberation.

The 'powers' that be are already feeling the heat and see it as a threat to their business (which it is). They are gathering, coming together (all of them, even of different political parties and affiliations) to fight a common enemy - God's Own Agenda! But the Scriptures according to (Isaiah 8:9-10) is an antidote against them.

Associate yourselves, O you people (evil doers who are bent on impoverishing the masses), and you shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all you of far countries (machineries they reliably use often): gird yourselves, and you shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and you shall be broken in pieces. Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted; propose your plan, but it shall not stand: for God is with us. (Isaiah 8:9-10)

Finally people, it is expedient that you know that, this particular agenda is a Done Deal as God Himself is involved. We boast on Him to bring this to pass and that's why we are not surprised about the tremendous landmarks we have achieved so far! We would have been, if we've not achieved them because we are working at His command - "I am come down to deliver my people!"
