Anyway, As a Valencia fan, We'll miss him

Same advert about a youth tournament for August last year.

The tournament was supposed to feature Valencia, Genoa (italy) and Supersport (SA).

The tournament never held on the propsed date and as at that date(Aug 8 ), nobody (even people in the stadium) knew when it was postponed to.

I kept checking for a week and finally gave up.

I can remember clearly cause I'm a Valencia fan through and through and I was disappointed to see the likes of Isco grace our pitch (before the youth world cup).

Add Mikel Ballack (injury) to the list

Valencia Striker David Villa has agreed a 4 year deal to Barcelona worth 50 Million Euros according to spanish newspaper ElMundo Deportivo.

This is a Bargain in favour of Barca if you ask me, I mean Villa is worth more than Ibra.

Dont mind me being sentimental here, Im a Valencia fan and I'd hate to see Villa leave.

if we love tha late da'GRin of a Truth then we should be able to tell knowing fulli well the cause of his death. I on a personal note thinks Nigerian new -born (mostly artists) stars are usually carried away by their financial step-up and it gets into them most atimes.

Coldplay are not really rockers in my view. They're more on the alternative side. In fact, I would put them in pop alongside Robbie Williams, Wet Wet Wet, Village People, Elton John, and those kinda people.

For me if you're talking rock, you must either be grunge, death metal, album, indie, symphonic, or punk rock. The type that makes you bob your head.

Songs are classified as Rock or Not based on 2 things.The strings and drums.

Does coldplay have both? The answer is YES.

A lot of people now classify songs as Rock now based on the level of noise in the song which is wrong.

Taylor Swift is a blend between Country and Pop while Katy Perry isnt entirely rock (she's also a blend between pop and rock).

New divide is a single.Soundtrace for Transformers 2 (just like What I've done for The Transformers).

I know LUCID STORM and it seems they have potentials to be class.

I'll be honest though, I wasnt impressed with their rendition of the National Anthem.

Other Nigerian rock tracks that are okay include Eben (God Dey,Imaranma), Neyo(NEPA Bring the light, No network) and Rooftop MC's (shock Therapy)

quite amazing. Never heard anything like it before.

The ash from the volcano contains ice and some other particles and it is feared that this ash can damage the plane engines.

The same thing has happened twice in the past and both planes managed to land.

Well I'm not suprised there are a lot of rock fans here. I love rock too just love rap a bit more. I'm suprised no one has mentioned the killers. Those guys are awesome. Think their first album 'hot fuss' made it to the best 100 albums chart of the noughties. Won't lie,it was the first rock album i heard completely. Red Hot Chilli Peppers are good too. Wonder why they are not getting a mention from anyone. 'By The Way' in 2001 was a good effort. Stumbled across a Marilyn Manson album recently and boy was i suprised! I think the band is not overrated at all. Other favorites are 3 Doors Down and One Republic.
Rock can't really penetrate Naija. Most folks think its jargon and certainly think you're weird when you've got a huge rock playlist. Don't see rock concerts selling out and naija rock bands with meaningful commercial success generally. Too bad.

I have The Killers' albums Sam's town and Day and Age.
Like I mentioned earlier,I prefer punk rock and alternatives.
Also have Blue October,The Rasmus,Blink 182,Simple Plan,Good Charlotte (Young and hopeless),Yellow Card,Staind,Sum 41,Bowling for soup,3 doors down,All linking park, My collection is endless.

I personally listen to every genre except any type of metal, thrash or death, those do not appeal to me.

I love rock but only listen to just Linkin' Park since i got lots of their albums on my iPhone. I love all their albums, from Hybrid Theory, Meteora down to Collision Course. Then again, i like the kid Mike Shinoda a lot, so that could explain it.

Black Eyed Peas might not be rock but they have a good rock track.

Listen to the Elephunk album again.Track 12 (Anxiety) is one bad ass rock track.

That album has an infusion of almost all genre's of music.

Im ready to share my collection with anybody though I havent updated my collection in a while except the artist really impresses me (like Plain white T's)
