Season 6 Episode 1

Interesting Season premiere.

Unlike what I thought when they said they would focus on the brothers'relationship, they actually continued where they left off.

And they have started with the suspense straight from Episode 1.

You gotta wonder what the big deal was with rushing the Djinn away before the brothers got back.

Also, I have a feeling Azazel (Yellow eyes demon) will feature again in the Season.

I'll say it was a good start. Now lets hope they can keep up the pace.

Its a continous story but each episode is stand-alone.

You'll start enjoying it from like episode 5 of Season 1.

PoliticsSenator Obiagbon At It Again by Shaunscot(op): 6:34pm On Sep 08, 2010
Honorable Patric Obahiagbon, alarmed and singularly dismayed by the incomprehensible predisposition of contemporary youth to shamelessly lower their trousers in a manner that flagrantly exposes the entire gluteus maximus anatomical topography to the unforgiving elements and to public scrutiny, has taken it upon himself to assume a bold leadership role in setting new, exciting standards of innovative sartorial elegance, aimed at reversing the nihilistic travesties of popular fashion currently emanating from the mass media and North American music industry like sulfurous magma from an infernal volcanic eruption.

Constitutionally, and in his esteemed capacity as Nigeria's Grammar Man Extraordinaire, Obahiagbon retains the locus standi to vigorously pursue this noble modus operandi to its logical conclusion, despite ALL protests and disingenuous, denigrating but inherently futile public commentary. Fifty years from now, when the HIGH WAIST modality of dress has been universally adopted worldwide by rebellious youth, and enthusiastically celebrated by avant garde men's attire prognosticators, Mr. Obiahagbon will be duly recognized and eulogized as the uncompromising trend setter that he has always been, regardless of all unpatriotic attempts to pour approbation, ridicule and jealous contempt on his revered personage. Nihil incarborendum illegitimi.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Wayne Rooney 'slept With Prostitute While Wife Coleen Was Pregnant' by Shaunscot(m): 7:38am On Sep 07, 2010
WAYNE ROONEY had a series of romps with a £1,200-a-time hooker when wife Coleen was pregnant, we can reveal today.

SHAME: Wayne Rooney yesterday
The England and Man United striker bedded pretty Jenny Thompson, 21, over several MONTHS.

Last night she told us: "Wayne chased me with sex texts and paid in wads of cash. He didn't seem to care he was betraying Coleen."

The Cheating England ace begged Jenny, 21, and her pretty friend to fulfil his fantasy with a sordid triple sin.

Then he summoned the vice girl back again and again - while trusting wife Coleen was expecting their son Kai.

Last night Jenny, 21, exclusively told the News of the World: "Wayne certainly enjoyed all our meetings and didn't seem to care what he was doing to his wife.

"I think he believes he's invincible and untouchable. As a woman, I wouldn't like that done to me - especially if I was pregnant."

In an interview that will shatter Rooney's carefully-nurtured family man image - which has helped earn the celebrity couple millions - Jenny revealed how the Manchester United star took astonishing risks as he:

BEDDED her at Manchester's top five-star hotel, a favourite with celebs and team-mates.

BEGGED her to join him on TOUR with the Premier League side.

FIXED for a pal to pay her cash when he ran short of readies.

ROMPED with her at a team party.
READ: Wayne Rooney told hooker: Let's score at home

Jenny told how she first met Rooney, 24, in June last year at the Manchester 235 Casino where he was drinking with relatives and team-mate Rio Ferdinand.

"I was at the bar in the VIP area with another escort girl and they called us over for a chat," she said.

"We went for a smoke in the toilets with Wayne and his brother and exchanged phone numbers. At that point Wayne didn't know what sort of work I did."

But the star quickly made it plain what he was after. "He told me to meet him in a quiet corner of the casino and we had had a kiss for about three or four minutes," said Jenny.

SAFE BET: 235 casino where they met
"It was about 3am when my friend and I left and I started getting texts from Wayne as he was going home. He said, 'Do you fancy meeting up?'

"I said yes but told him it wouldn't be for free. He texted back saying, 'Fine, that's not a problem.' Then he asked if my friend would like to join us and she agreed."

A week later Rooney met the girls at the famed five-star Lowry hotel. "My friend and I made an effort," said Jenny.

"We both wore identical black lacy bra-and-brief sets specially bought from La Senza.

"Wayne told us he'd never had a triple sin before. He was shy and awkward - and me and my friend were left to do all the work.

"He didn't want us to put on a lesbian sex show, he was more into two girls pleasuring him at the same time. But it was all over far too quickly."

"I asked Wayne if he'd ever been with vice girls before and then, all of a sudden, I remembered he HAD!

He wanted a triple sin so my sexy pal joined us in bed,  it was all over so quickly
"I told him, 'I remember reading in the newspapers about you and the old granny!' Wayne just laughed. He thought that was really funny."

Rooney's earlier brush with scandal came in 2004 when he confessed to visiting a seedy massage parlour in a rundown area of Liverpool for £45-a-time sex, including a romp with a 48-year-old grandmother nicknamed Auld Slapper - the first time he was caught cheating on devastated childhood sweetheart Coleen.

Since then Rooney, who played for England on Friday night at Wembley, has crafted a brand of happy family life that's helped win big-money sponsorships and endorsements.

But the tawdry truth is just a year ago he was at it again.

After the triple sin the second vice girl stayed out of the arrangement but Rooney kept up his liaisons with Jenny. It was two weeks later the pair met again at the Lowry.

Jenny, who normally charges between £150 and £200 an hour, headed straight to the star's room on the third floor.

PLAYS LONG: They romped repeatedly in bed and on chaise longue at Lowry Hotel
"It was about 11am," she said. "The door was off the latch and I just walked in.

"He was on the bed, in his bathrobe with nothing underneath, ready for it. There was an iPod and a few clothes lying around. We went straight into it. It lasted for about half an hour."

Jenny also had sex with Rooney on a chaise longue next to the bed. "I did most of the work, and he was saying nice things about my body," she added. "He was trying to be filthy but he couldn't quite do it. He's quite shy. Five minutes after sex he said he wanted a smoke and got the guy from the desk downstairs to go and get them. He paid him £200 or something ridiculous like that for a packet of Marlboro.

"We were chatting but he didn't mention anything about Coleen and I didn't bring it up. The money was in his jeans pockets. He counted it and handed £1,200 to me in twenties and fifties. He said he'd enjoyed it and we'd have to meet up again.

"I never imagined Wayne Rooney would ever be one of my clients. I know a lot of people call him Shrek but he's actually not that ugly when you're sat in front of him."

Jenny said most of their meetings followed the same pattern. "Wayne had a few different mobile phones to contact me, all pay-as-you-go throw-aways," she added. "Wayne was actually quite boring in bed. We always had sex with a condom. I'd stay about 45 minutes with him in his hotel room.

He spent 200 quid on a packet of Marlboro minutes after we had sex
"Then he'd pass me the money, the correct amount, all counted out, sometimes in an envelope, sometimes just a bundle. When he didn't have the money with him I'd pick it up later from a pal of his who worked in a designer clothes shop."

One night Jenny and her star punter met up again at the 235 Casino. Again they went to the toilets but this time it was business. "It wasn't full sex," said Jenny.

"It was me on him. I was in there for about 15 minutes. He was a bit drunk. He gave me a £1,000 gambling chip. I lost about £500 but took the rest home."

The next time Jenny saw Rooney was at a party in Rio Ferdinand's Rosso Italian restaurant.

"I went with a few girls and the whole team were there," recalled Jenny. "They were all very drunk.

"We hadn't arranged to meet but Wayne spotted me int the crowd. About half hour later he held my hand in front of everyone and led me away down these stairs.

Michael Owen was looking at him in disgust. Wayne made no effort to be discreet and I was embarrassed.

"Wayne took me downstairs into the cooking area and into an office. Again we didn't have full sex, I pleasured him. He couldn't say much because he was so drunk. He was sat on a chair.

"We were only down there for about 10 to 15 minutes. A few days later he texted saying he'd left some money at the clothes shop.

"I wasn't really that concerned but there was about £600 in an envelope marked 'Jenny'."

Nairaland GeneralRe: Otedola Has Been 'milking' African Petroleum by Shaunscot(op): 1:57pm On Sep 06, 2010
Another Extract

Good Morning Ladies and gentlemen of the Press.

I have facts and data that show without any doubt that Mr Femi Otedola has been
Milking African Petroleum for his private gains for the past two years. I wrote
several memos and petitions about this as the Finance Director of AP to all the
Directors AP, the DG of the Securities and Exchange Commission, The President of
the Stock Exchange and the Police and we have received no response. My lawyer
has also written a petition to the EFCC on this issue. I am now compelled to
come to the public and state the facts, so that if anything should happen to me,
everyone will know who is responsible and why. I am not a wealthy man with
friends in high places, but I am a professional accountant and I refuse to be a
part of falsehood. I am currently being persecuted because I refused to cook the
books as requested by Femi Otedola, I also refused to allow Mr Otedola to
continue to siphon money out of AP for the benefit of himself and his other
companies. AP is quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange and the shareholders
need to know what s going on!

Now, please let me fill you in with the facts.
Please bear with me that I may not be eloquent, but the facts speak for
themselves.
In 2009, African Petroleum plc made a loss of about N15 Billion, this was due
to the fact that the Chairman’s companies (Zenon Petroleum and Gas Company
Limited, Platinum Fleet Limited and Fineshade Energy limited) started selling
products to African Petroleum Plc at Higher prices than normal, at times higher
than the retail pump price at gas station. In September 2009, the Finance Director prepared a management account where the
company made a loss of N9.7 Billion. The loss was not acceptable to the chairman
who brought in others to produce an alternative account that showed a profit of
N957 million. They also suggested that we warehouse N15Billion as un-reconciled
inventories and to seek board approval to amortized it over five years. This was
not acceptable to me as Finance Director because the causes of loss making were
known.

Prior to this time, I have requested that the companies of the Executive
Chairman refund the N15B owed or supply the products as this was the cause of
the loss.
The Executive Chairman ensured that his companies supplied products to African
Petroleum Plc without contract or agreed prices.

As a result of this and many other issues, the chairman was asked to step down
as chief executive officer and he did.

The reasons for the losses recorded in 2009 are:

1. The executive Chairman forced African Petroleum Plc to take products
from his companies at prices higher than the normal.

2. The Executive Chairman forced the company to pay for products in
advance. The amount outstanding as at 31st December 2009 was N10B

3. The loss on Petroleum Products Price Regulatory Authority (PPPRA)
rebate on imported products is N32 Billion because the purchase was from the
Chairman instead of direct import that would have been more profitable.

4. The loss due to Chairman’s companies over loaded invoices is
approximately N4 Billion.

5. African Petroleum paid rent of N1B for the use of the Zenon house in
Victoria Island

6. Mixing up Zenon transactions with Africa petroleum PLC

a. The Chairman forced the company to use his Tank Farms for storage of
African Petroleum’s products

b. As at 31st December 2009 the differences on premium motor spirit( PMS)
was 28, 347,742 litres valued at 1.9billion
The Union in AP i.e. NUPENG and PENGASSAN have also demanded the removal of the
chairman and the black listing of his companies as suppliers to AP :
As the Executive Director, Finance and IT of African Petroleum, I have queried
various transactions and this has led to so many suspensions and various
allegations without the right response from the authority concerned at this time
we are trying to ensure that our values are restored, considering the fight
against corruption.

I have made presentations to the board of African Petroleum PLC on these abuses;

I have written memos to the Managing Directors and copied all directorsof AP on
these abuses.

On the 5th of July 2010, there was a scheduled board meeting of AP Plc; the
chairman stormed the venue with 150 armed mobile police men. He entered the lift
with too many security operatives thereby overloading the lift. Thereafter the
lift got stuck and we got a report from CFAO and the maintenance engineer that
clearly stated that there was no foul play. Instead of following the
instructions of the rescuers, Mr Otedola was busy banging his head on the lift
door and pressing various buttons (we were told). He came out from the lift and
he ordered the Managing Director, Mr. Tunde Falasinnu, the finance director, Mr.
Clement Aviomoh and the company secretary Mrs. Elizabeth Idigwe out of the
scheduled board room.
He rose from the board room in the evening about 7PM and sent a suspension
letter to me and the company secretary; he made the MD to resign.

Someone with the relevant authority and power should please stop Femi from
Milking AP dry. Also please help me as I am being persecuted by a rich, powerful
and influential man who has done so much harm to the company. Authorities please
help before it is too late. Justice delayed may be justice denied!

I didnt know which section to post this so I put it in the general section.

Here is some interesting piece of info on how Otedola has Milking African Petroleum in favour of his company (Zenon).

I didnt take this serious until I heard from an inside source how much Otedola has been trying to cover this up from the general public.

As a friend, you owe him the truth.

I wonder how you'll stand at the wedding and smile at the groom with that kind of knowledge.

Now whether it comes from you or her is up to HER to decide.

Let her know you want your friend to know the truth and give her the option of telling it herself.

Your friend doesnt need to have details but if there is a video out there, she should tell him.

If the guy truly loves her, then he'll accept her for who she is.

The length some women will go through just to be comfortable,

Who knows, your friend might just end up in a situation similar to the first case in this thread.

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-507342.0.html

You can place a call through to her (Record if you can) and let her know your stand on the current situation.

Also, its good that you have copies of that video. I dont mean for you to blackmail her but just in case she wants to turn the case against you, then you have proof to let your friend know whats going on.
TV/MoviesHitv Crashes Subscription Rates. by Shaunscot(op): 2:49pm On Aug 10, 2010
After confirming its loss of the English Premiership League (EPL) broadcast rights to a rival pay TV station, the management of HITV has said the station will continue to give its teaming subscribers the best of sporting programmes along with other interesting programmes. While speaking with journalists in Lagos yesterday, the Chief Executive of HI Media, Toyin Subair said that the company is still proud to have the biggest football competition, the UEFA Champions League, in its kitty.

"It's unfortunate we lost out on the EPL rights which was not directly any fault of ours but due to the failure of the banks that were meant to give the sureties, we are however still happy to have other platforms in which we can still meet the aspirations of our viewers," Subair said.

"Football is our catalyst not our destination. Before people were attributing our success to just the EPL but now we would let them know the stuff we are made of."

Meanwhile, as part of the new strategy to increase its customers base which currently stands at over 300,000, the management has announced a reduction in its subscription rates from N6,000 to N3,500 for its premium bouquet as it plans to hit a mark of 500,000 subscribers before the end of the year.

The station still has the exclusive rights to UEFA Champions League which is the premier football competition in the world, the Europa Cup and the Carlings Cup amongst other exclusive platforms.

People really dont care about female soccer.
I remember the case of some of these women who lost their jobs at their clubs just because they opted to be patriotic.Last I heard was the NFF(then NFA) paying them 50k Naira to leave Abuja.
its very sad if you ask me.

Back to the main issue, I think its unfair comparism if you are comparing the Super Chickens with the Female U-20 team.

Im glad that Forlan and David Villa finally get the recognition they deserve.
These guys consistently bang in 20+ goals.

Diego from Villareal to Athletico and Villa from Zaragoza to Valencia.

Unfortunately, because they dont play for the 'big clubs',they have been seriously underrated.

And for those clamouring Up Barca because Villa won the Bronze ball and Silver boots, he is officially a Barca player but made the Spanish squad based on his exploits at Valencia.

He hasnt even played a single game for Barca so whats the buzz about?

Anyway, my tip for the FIFA Balon D'Or is Andreas Iniesta although I would have very much loved Xavi Hernandez to win it.

Its really saddening,
PoliticsShell Generates $39b For Nigerian Government, Says Ceo by Shaunscot(op): 11:46am On Jun 30, 2010
Despite the general impression created by the Federal Government that the country lacked adequate funding to improve on its infrastructure, particularly electricity and roads, Shell, the biggest

oil firm in the country has revealed that its operation alone generated $39 billion (about N5.85 trillion) for the government in the last five years.

Royal Dutch Shell Plc’s Chief Executive Officer Peter Voser made the shocking revelation at Fortune Global Forum in Cape Town yesterday while defending the Hague-based Shell’s record in Nigeria.

According to him, “Shell has over the last five years delivered $39 billion to the central government” in Nigeria, he said.

“These funds are probably not used in the best way across the Niger Delta to increase the living standards. We cannot be stepping into the shoes of the government.”

Meanwhile, Voser said an oil spill from a BP Plc well in the Gulf of Mexico, the biggest in U.S. history, is unlikely to halt deep-water drilling.

Shell which operates some deep offshore fields in Nigeria has been repeatedly accused of polluting the Niger Delta environment where it is a leading oil producer.

“Our expectation is for it (deep-water drilling) to continue,” Voser said.

“This is really based on our belief that the energy system going forward over the next few decades will actually need all the energy” that can be developed.

U.S. President Barack Obama ordered a six-month moratorium on all drilling in waters deeper than 500 feet in the wake of the April explosion and sinking of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig and the subsequent spill.

On June 22, U.S. District Judge Martin Feldman ruled the ban, which sought to give a presidential commission time to study offshore safety improvements, was overly broad and prohibited federal regulators from enforcing it. Four days later, the U.S. government asked a federal appeals court in New Orleans to delay the enforcement of that order.

Changes to safety standards currently under consideration in the US are “pretty much in line with our global standards,” Voser said. “We have revamped all our designs and safety procedures. From a Shell point of view we would not have drilled this well in the same way” as BP.
