Been tryin to do u a PM cant seem to get around too. Neways i read ur posts, yep all 76 of em. U make sense a lot. Am an EE grad too. I neva did av a particular likin for any field of elect but afta my IT in an ICT company one of d Top ones u mention earlier. I leaned towards av a career in telcomms or IT. But life afta skool changed my POV, like u mentioned in ur "original musings" just got thru wit service, served in a bank (gosh my analytical brain was in sleep mode). I wanted to do an Msc like this yr in communications but then i tot again is dat wat i really want, i got offer wit ivy league, made close to a first in skool and it wasnt abt tution fees. I just felt i wasnt so sure of wat i wantd anymore. So i tot ok, y not get a job, c how it goes. then fully decided on d next phases. Bt d thing is now most of these telcos arnt taking fresh grads. workin on oil n gas too. well it still engrin too. But most of d prospective offers i av now r d top consultin companies n banks. What do u think?

sorry to hear about ur predicament. keloids are common in negroes and are found usually on d chest, back, shoulders, face and r very unsightly atimes.

they do itch because there is a theory that they r benign tumors and highly active. they grow excessively with little or no provocation.

unfortunately, they don't go away. even with surgery they usually recur. no ideal therapy. u can take piriton tablets to stop d itchin.

see a general surgeon or plastic surgeon, steroid injections might be helpful to suppress the growth of d keloids.

if u eat well, i mean all d 6 classes of nutrients, u shuldn't need vitamins. in my opinion our local diet is not well balanced.

since u want 2 get pregnant, a daily tablet of folic acid is in order. there is a preparartion i was once saw called ZE-PLUS it contains vit A, E and zinc and these are known to help fertility, include vit C to d list. i'm not sure of d contents in Pregnacare if they contain all this then u are on course.

27/28 days is a very normal cycle. u'll need 2 meet with ur hubby about 7 -11 days after d end of ur menses assuming its about 3-5 days.

during this period u shuld meet at least 3 times a day, whether in lagos or in ibadan.

the key thing is to plan towards it together

Please an Anty of mine has been suffering from partial stroke for about 5 years now, she has been to the hospitals for treatment though one part of her body is affected, but about a year ago, she started experiencing serious pains in that part of her body that was affected. She has taken all types of drugs but the pains keep increasing every day.
Please i really do need your help and response.

secondly, there is a friend of mine that has been suffering from an infection for about 4 yeas now, she coughs, brings out coloured mucus always, with little chest pain, congested throat, short breath once in a while, and the cough is contagious, she has been to verious hospitals for test like chest X-try, sputum test, blood test and others for more than four different occasions, nothing seem to be seen or discovered in the test that has been carried out. Doctor, please, i know u could be of help.

i read ur post. thot i shuld say somethin. i just graduated in Dec 07, about 2 start my internship.

for ur Aunt with the partial stroke of 5 years, i'm not so sur of wat u mean. did she lose the ability to use one side of her body completely at the time of s stroke with a slurred speech? has she be doin physiotherapy & speec therapy to regain the use of her limbs and speech.

please explain more about the pain or is it like pins & needlses or burning sensation? is she diabetic and/or hypertensive? is she obese?

all these questions r important and she needs to see a consulatant physician!

for ur friend with a cough of 4 years, i tht of TB initially but its a posssibility. does she cough up blood or blood-stained sputum?any significant weight loss, drenching night sweats, loss of appetite?has TB ever been diagnosed and treated in her? u said d cough is contagious TB is extremely CONTAGIOUS!

please take her case seriously i;ll advise both of these people to go to LASUTH. Ikeja! they are lot of experienced hands there, ok.

please pray 4 them. God heals, We Care.

i dunno where ur fiend did this test, but sounds like d results came from a quack lab in Ajegunle!!

there is no such thing as BACTERIAL PARASITE, these are 2 main classes of micro-organisms, and there is no hybrid!!

the symptoms u listed seems she has psycho-somatic features of moderate depression,insects crawling over her body, menstrual irregularities are almost classical symptoms.

has any grave event occured in the past year or few months like d death of a loved one, loss of job, financial difiiculties, marital problems? anthing distressful
that is causing serious unhappiness in ur friends life!

she needs 2 be counselled and there might be need 4 her 2 see a psychiatrist/psychologist, if her GP is unavailable.

please pray 4 her and be there 2 suport her as a good friend, ok.

u hav nothin 2 fear, by definition u r not infertile, u've been tryin for 6 months its not up to 1 year.

i hope u av a regular cycle and understand when u should meet ur husband, if u r lookin 4 a child u shuld both plan & work 2wards meetin at the right time.

remeber that Children r a gift from God.
