When I moved to my crib in one area called NY (New York) I noticed that some guys will come to our compound and get high and leave. It happened every blessed night. Initially I thought they were my neighbors. I later discovered they were area boys.
According to my neighbour the first tenants were serious drug addicts and usually smoked weed every night with area boys. As they graduated na so area boys dey still come dey come our compound to get high in memory of their graduated comrades.
Landlord no fit talk, we sef no fit talk, family men for compound too no get mouth.
Minna sha. I miss that place

P.S area boys even had a bench they kept permanently in one lungu in the compound.

They wouldn't let you see the light. Surprisingly they upgraded my result and changed class of result for me. While one guy we thought would make first class was 'downgraded'.

They believe that if you don't suffer to get something then that thing isn't worthwhile. You can imagine the sadistic stress we went thru for five years. This belief extends to even obtaining departmental clearance oh. We must suffer kawai. Thank God I'm out. I wasn't born a suffer head.

The mentality of most Nigerian lectures is been hard n rigid,they so enjoy hearing their names from students around campus warning other students about their course. What a life!and thy (lecturers) expect us to care about their welfare when we get in to high political positions.

Them too much even, my department deliberately reduce the credit unit of most causes frm 3 to 2 just to deny us the 1st class. how bad Una own be?
