Please why is it that my battery and network icons are not changing?

Ever since I fell in love with umidigi, I ditched all other brands. I have forgotten about the likes of oukutel, cubot, vkworld, blackview etc.
Anyways, goodluck to them and their customers.
If I ever leave Umidigi then I will only give Xiaomi a trial just because of the mouth wey Xiaomi fans dey make. I would like to taste how tasty Xiaomi is one day if umidigi would ever allow me.

Bro Xiaomi is not making mouth oooo, am teasting it now you will really enjoy it too, umidigi too is great bro I wanna add another phone thinking of Umidigi A5 pro but the big icon of the network I don't really like it.... currently using Redmi 7 I charge once in 2 days now

Just the camera glass and it makes it blur I guess my phone hit it with a spoon.

Had the same SOT at the wee hours of the day. It literally refused to leave 100%. I discovered it takes longer to move from 100 - 99 than moving from 99 - 98 downwards..

You right I do charger once in two days I also use Redmi 7...I ordered for the case and glass from AliExpress yet to arrived I use ordinary post it will expire on 15th now my glass is broken afraid to order through ordinary post now...ANY HELP?

Realms too is a better option...it's a steal for the price running helio P the product is very popular in India and some parts in Asia

This is my choice too cos I'm a battery freak. If I was more interested in camera, Realme 3 is better

In all honesty
Design & display----umidigi A5 pro fhd> hd

performance-- redmi 7 SD 632>helio p23 but both can handle heavy games at low graphics

Camera-- redmi 7 with an option to install gcam. but with the right OTA update umi A5 pro is good . umi A5 pro also has wide angle camera to take wide angle shots
I think there is also Gcam for umi

Battery-- Both but note umi A5 pro may not give higher SOT because of its fhd display

connectivity--- umi A5 pro it support glo 4g and it has gyroscope which redmi 7 is lacking.

Features--- redmi 7 it also has IR blaster to control appliances though miui(redmi) may have its downside with ads and aggressive ram management but it is still fine

Price--umidigi a5 pro #36k vs 44, 48k but if you want to get umi at that price you will have wait as hell but shortcut is 40k

Conclusion: they are both great device's at their price point but if you want to get redmi get the 3gb variant to avoid app force closure and aggressive ram management.

but if you want to get umidigi a5 pro get it and exercise patience because they've got great hardware but need software updates to perfect some things.
You can never go wrong with both and there is a reason they are the top 2 thread in the phone section

All what you said are right but Redmi 7 still gat a better camera and battery backup, I have Gcam but I hardly use it, the camera shot better I just think the Gcam is over hyped I used it because of the blur Len but not now that I know how to use blur lens in main camera I just dropped the Gcam....my battery serves me 2 days without charging

Volume buttons are not working well.

The up volume is the down volume even the source to change to hdmi,pc and AV is not working properly

Op just buy the a30 it's the better phone the only redeeming specs of the rn7 is the sd abd the 48mp is just 12mp pixel binning so the Samsung could still beat it in camera you'll have to see shots for yourself but a30 is better overall

All I see is brand name in Samsung,I use redmi 7 and it's great I can bet with you that the redmi note 7 is stronger and doesn't heat up like Samsung,mind you I also love Samsung too

Get a good case that protects the camera bump. The case that comes with them doesn't. You can get a glass cover for your camera from AliExpress

My phone camera glass got broken it never fall ooo, am very conscious with it, can't really know what went wrong ,is there a replacement for it that I won't have to loose the case?

The two are the best phone in USA and world standard,
Even though Samsung and iphone can have it manufacturin branch china, you don't compare it China brand in terms of technological inovation,
RedMI imidigI and other standard China brand are all equally good too but you don't compare with samy and iphone
