Do you not realise that attracting foreign finance means there is proof that the startup is economically viable - which means hundreds of millions in annual turnover, which boosts the local economy and creates jobs, not to mention the injection of foreign capital into the local economy and the indirect effect of exposure to foreign expertise deepening the local human resource base? Did you think about what you said before you said it, or did you just want to be a part of the conversation by any means?
