The fuçk are you talking about.
Who is gonna buy our very pricey weapon systems, send folks on scholarship to US colleges and get the hell out when done, buy Boeing aircraft instead of the European alternative. Those people though maybe primitive they support jobs in America and yes also send terrorist to the battlefield and then report those terrorist to our intelligence agencies so we can wack 'em, take away the strategic importance they serve us and the unholy alliance will be over.

N3TRAL:
Ugandan President and politicians are the biggest beneficiaries of the economic crisis that will threaten Uganda in the coming weeks.

Their President, Museveni, has been Head of State in Uganda since 1987- a record 37 years, and has won reelection 6 times. His army consistently abuse the country's most vocal opposition, Bobi Wine and not so long ago, Wine's wife was almost stripped naked on election noon.

The impoverished and superstitious citizens of the import-dependent sub-saharan country are happy that a law to persecute anyone who isn't heterosexual or is non-binary is in force. They prefer to stay in churches fasting from dawn to dusk despite their very low standard of living.

When anyone questions why Uganda that was developing at a very slow rate has become stagnant, or in a worse reality- going backwards, members of the executive and legislators can cite their anti-gay laws as the reason for their woes and get reelected to continue redirecting Uganda's resources to private stockpiles for their bloodline.

Good Morning Uganda 🌈
Lol, use the citizens own worst impulse to their advantage while leaving the most important issues.

Mr. It seems you quoted me in error.

I have no patience for infantile games.

You asked for a source. I provided it.

The Pentagon has never passed an audit. ALL other Departments in the US have passed an audit at least once. And no one is suicidal enough to say sh*t about it. If that does not scream untouchable to you, then you need to beat it. I cannot unilaterally increase your IQ.

Did you even read the content of the material?, Lol. You made it look as if the US military leaders are some kind of "untouchables" the kind obtainable in banana republic where there is no accountability - that part had been made clear from your "no POTUS..Senator..bla bla bla".
PoliticsRe: How Top Military Officers Pressured President Tinubu To Drop Nuhu Ribadu As NSA by shegzhkn: 3:25pm On Jun 16, 2023
LordAdam16:
Tinubu does not have the political capital to perform those reforms you highlighted.

The military are not petroleum marketers or NLC you can intimidate with bluster.

In the kyn US you're talking up, the Pentagon failed its fifth consecutive audit in November 2022. Trillions of dollars unaccounted for.

They've not given birth to the POTUS, Senator, FBI/CIA Director, civil servant or activist that will so much as make a murmur about it.

If the military says they can't work with an NSA who's a former police officer, that is final.

Under different circumstances, say if we have a deliberately weakened military as is customary in the Middle East or the security situation isn't terse, then you could retire a bunch of senior officers and let ambition and greed create infighting amongst the top echelon. Then sneak in your appointee.

But as things stand, whatever the military wants it gets. Reform will only be tolerated from someone with significantly more cachet than the "I won with 8m votes" crooner.

Everyone create moats in Nigeria for self-preservation. Only doctors can be Ministers of Health and chief administrative officers of hospitals. Petroleum Minister must be from the SS. And many other norms that must be upheld.

-Lord
Provide receipt for the bolded.

These are leaders that will work with Peter Obi when justice is done to reclaim the glory of Africa. Imagine what the combination of Peter Obi of Nigeria, Paul Kegame of Rwanda, William Ruto of Kenya and Museveni of Uganda will look like for Africa at the world Stage. Africa will be cherished because these four are men of wisdom and they will combine and challenge the terrible domineering attitude and policies of the West. Africa is waiting for Nigeria to get the right leadership and take the lead but Nigeria is still no where to be found.
Jesus Christ, look at the mental wiring of a human being. Ruto, Museveni, Kagame (lol).

We can mandate every state government of this regime to only do one project and that is to build one refinery, if we have 37 including in fct, we can distribute our 2million barrels of crude oil daily to them and create our own international market where countries can come and buy refined proudcts, even if it is only African countries that will buy, we are ok.
It actually make sense that Nigeria is a failed states, look at the way this clown is thinking.
Break away from international market and sell your own crude, lol (who the hell are you)
Even Saudi Arabia the apex predator of the energy market will not try this & besides in this modern age you are still talking about fossil fuel to support your economy.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: The Lack Of Adequate Employment In Nigeria by shegzhkn: 6:19pm On Jun 09, 2023
abbey621:
Always comparing Nigerian society to China or Europeans/Americans.

1. Was China ever colonized? Do they have a homogenous society or are they fractured like Nigerians? What do you have in common with a Fulani?

2. Can you define communism? Do you know that such a system is geared towards community development than the liberal democratic system practiced in Nigeria? Nigeria's democracy is still less than 50 years old, with such a huge population democracy here is still in its infancy!

3. Are you a patriot? Are you willing to forsake majority of your profits for the greater good of the country? This is the question every Nigerian should be asked. If you want to compare Nigeria to China, you need to be prepared to say yes! Even the average American pays 5 TIMES the amount of taxes the average Nigerian pays yet we want development, we want fuel to be cheap and jobs abundant......WAKE UP!

Government must diversify the economy, private sector must be empowered and at the same time heavily regulated. The companies creating the most jobs should receive tax breaks, entrepreneurship should be encouraged and taught in universities as a required course. Government should invest in working refineries and return Nigeria back to agricultural dominance rather than wasting money on subsidies and other scams. Nigeria is not and can never develop the way China did, it must develop in its own unique way with government, private sector and citizens reaching a new level of understanding!
Look at your completely fuçked up way of thinking, a supposedly exposed individual (I guess you live in Uncle Sam).
Nigeria democracy is still at it infancy stage (a 60 years old country), was china colonized ?? (The same China that saw hell in the hands of the japanese and was able to pull over 800M people out of poverty) or is it Korea that was occupied until 1945 by the same japanese and was completely devastated after the Korean war, hell we even gifted Japan two nukes & still they were able to rebuild.
It seems to me you are looking for excuse to justify the state of that society, telling me I like comparing Nigeria with the likes of Asians, Americans / European but guess what the common denominator they all share is that they are developed and advanced society.
If you really loved that country why don't you leave atl and move back.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: The Lack Of Adequate Employment In Nigeria by shegzhkn:
Just Rhetoric and stop gap measures.
I've always opined that the disaster that country is facing could have been prevented a long time ago (1950s - 1990s) when most asian powers began to industrialize, the question I am yet to get answers to is what were the baby boomers and their parents / grandparents doing then.
A Chinese proverb says "The best time to plant a tree is a twenty years ago, the second best time is now", meaning it is not too late to start doing what is right and what are those things.
Yo have an economy (oil reliant one) whose size is less than 600B USD and a population more than 200M with a GDP per Capita of less 2.5K USD and you expect not to have massive unemployment, poverty and underdevelopment. Just to provide context here Holland (the Netherlands) has a population of less than 20M and over 1 trillion dollar economy (insanely high GDP per Capita), ROK has 50M population with more than 1.8 trillion dollar economy (also good GDP per Capita) so you could expect unemployment to be low here, high HDI and good standard of living.
The only way to solve the problem of unemployment is to start providing values across the globe and that will require the folks in power to start doing what is right.

For standing up to that gas station operator, Ukrainian are the real MVP, he underestimated the resolve of the Ukrainian people, overestimate the capabilities of his mediocre military & hinges his victory on the knowledge that '2014' is about to repeat itself but he was wrong.
The west are going to keep supporting Ukraine for as long as it take, if he had any chance of winning the war in the first place he would have a long time ago.

PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy Expenditure From 2005 To 2022 by shegzhkn: 9:23pm On Jun 06, 2023
Lol, doesn't seems that much to me if you're actually doing things with the resources.
Subsidy is not only unique to that country, Saudi Arabia too does that, as a matter of fact oil is cheaper than water in the kingdom.
Nigeria is an extremely poor country (the data supports it) and so making oil affordable will guarantee that everyone struggle in the country is catered for, the money they may realize now that it's gone may not "spread out". People who are poor before are about to deal with inflation and more hardship.

The report has made it twice to the front page about some kind of championship in Sweden.
Where is this originating from ??, I haven't seen article about it on NYT, Washington Post, Reuters, BBC, Foxnews and even right wing media ecosystem like New York Post.
Did nairaland fail to do their due diligence on the report or they felt it a traffic magnetic, which one is it ??
