please how did you book online. Thanks in anticipation.

Go to the site qlifefamilyclinic.com and select "canada screening". It's under "booking" section. Then follow the other processes; select the number of persons you're booking for, the date, time and then proceed to payment. After payment, you'll be sent a mail. You still have to fill some forms containing your names etc online. Its not that difficult tho...

Goodluck

Hello Shenaniganzzz,

This is correct. GCMS notes request can be requested at any point even if an application is 1 week old. The only thing is, it may not contain any vital information.

One love!

Alright thank you...

FOR THOSE APPLYING FOR GCMS NOTE, PLEASE ENSURE YOUR APPLICATION HAS EXCEEDED THE STANDARD PROCESSING TIME OR IS 3-5MONTHS OLD BEFORE YOU APPLY. YOU CANT BE THINKING OF APPLYING FOR A GCMS NOTE IF YOUR APP IS STILL A MONTH OR 2 MONTHS OLD.. PATIENCE GUYS..

Hi Anon I thought we could order for the gcms in order to check if the VO has some concerns about our application so we can address it before a decision is made

Congratulations LadyBlaq!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and congratulations to everyone who have received their PPR. I am so happy for everyone. For those of us still on the journey, let us persevere in faith and trust God to complete that which He has started.

I also implore all of us to celebrate even the most little accomplishments. I posted that we had finally gotten admission into University of Regina after 4months+ of waiting and not a single congratulations from anyone. We only congratulate those who got PPR. Let us celebrate every the little victories.

Godspeed to us all.

Congratulations to you! You’re right. Every little win should be celebrated. I also celebrated when I saw that my Medicals had been updated to pass! I celebrate with you

I applied on the 14th of May and it's only my biometric that has been updated, although I have not done my medicals(I am booked for 8th july)
I have not gotten any other update.
No eligibility, No background checks nothing. Should I be worried?

Good morning my people. Long post alert.

Firstly, I’ll like to thank Almighty God for coming through for me. I just got PPR.

First time applicant.
I discovered this thread after I had applied and I immediately noticed some mistakes….. I didn’t submit my BSc transcript and I had lump sums moved to my dom account, although I briefly stated that the funds were transferred by my immediate family members in my LOE (this was verifiable from the statement’s inflow) and I also had almost zero outflow on the account.

I submitted personal MBS, papers statements of my sponsor and IELTS with my application so there was no NSE request.
My brother is a Canadian PR and he is my sponsor. I had tuition for 1 year and flight money in my GTB Dom account and he had my 10k CAD living cost set aside in a savings account of his.

I’m 25 years old and my program starts in August. For home ties, I used a property that was gifted to me by my mum, my parents and my job.

When I saw that people who applied after me were getting PPR requests, I started to lose faith. My mum saw I was down, prayed with me and I felt enlightened again. I want to encourage you all to keep the hope high. God will do it.

Congratulations!!!! We are very similar. I also discovered this thread late and noticed I made a mistake by not including my landed property and my car. about losing faith... mehn thanks for the encouragement. Congrats once again. May Canada favour you

I applied 15th of May and Biometric done 26th May. I’m just nervous if I can meet up fall session or it’s too late.

Anyone in same situation with me or have encouraging answers?

If you applied in May, have you gotten any response yet?

I applied 14th May, did my biometrics 25th May and medicals 3rd June at IOM. Medicals updated to pass 11th June.. that's the only update I've gotten since then, don't even know what these ghost updates other people are getting looks like.

This isn't true. Canada is intentional about reuniting families. In fact, a new office was recently opened in Nova Scotia to handle only spousal open work permit in order to speed up the process of reuniting families.
Applying together with your husband at this moment might give the visa officer the impression that you all want to leave your country. Hence, will take a lot of convincing for the visa officer to believe you won't leave Canada at th end of your study.
You are on the right track.

thanks so much

You already did the right thing. It's always advisable to submit your application alone at first as it improves your home ties.
I hope it ends well with your application.

Amen I hope so too but I was told that after I get my study permit, it won't be easy for my husband to get the open work permit. That ircc won't even look at his application.

Hi please i submitted my application in May but I didn't include my husbands application for open work permit. Someone just told me now that I should have added his application with mine. I actually thought its after I get my study permit he can use it to apply for an open work permit. Please can anyone clarify me on this? Is there a way we can still add his application to mine?

Side story
So at the time of my application, I was enrolled in a university in Nigeria. In my third year sef. But because of the strike and other things, I decided to move to Canada to start my undergrad afresh. I was so scared that this would be a complication in my application. I also applied exactly 1 week apart from my brother so this was another complication in my mind.

The wait was crazy because I had to still be attending school here in Nigeria just in case...lol. We thank God for grace.

Shout out to @Lekiboboe, @JustMellow, @Frankrobbn1, @Deoemmanuel and others who really helped answer my questions with regards to my application. God bless you guys abundantly.

Everyone still waiting, God is coming through for you and you will testify soon... Amen.

Amen congratulations!! Which school pleaase? And what course?

Well, try to send your e-medical sheet to IRCC Nairobi. Then, continue to explore ways to login to your account.

Also, try resetting your login password. Maybe, that will help

I don't know how to ask God to bless you grin grin grin but God bless you!!!! I changed my password and I was able to log into my account!! I also passed my medicals. I did it upfront. Thank you so so so triple much! And thanks to everyone that assisted me in this tiring challenge.. whatever you desire shall be granted.. amen.

Did you pay application fees and have gotten a biometrics invite?

When did you apply?

yes I paid 235cad, ircc acknowledged my payment and also sent me the BIL same day. I submitted my application on 14th of May

What did you use as an invite code because it's showing as a compulsory feed? To my understanding with what I read, this route is available for some applicants and the link is still in the testing stage?

So I was used as a lab rat??!!!! shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked I'm finished!
The invite code was sent on the website. See a sample below.

Hello good day everyone. Im new here. I’m perplexed and I don’t know what to do. When I was about starting my application, I researched for the ircc site. I got the site and read up on it. It indicated that I had to complete my registration by May 15th to get a decision by August 6th. I continued scrolling and I saw a link “to start application” ie to start my study permit application. Ircc indicated that that’s the new way of applying, that they had modified their site. I clicked on it and that’s how my application was started. I successfully submitted my application on May 14th.
Now the problem is that I can’t log in to the portal (same link I started with) I have tried severally but I can’t log in. Note that it’s not an issue of forgotten password or email cry
I really don’t know what to do.
This is the link https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca/signin?lang=en

Please am I the only one in this dilemma? I’m very scared rn

I still can't log in and I can't link my application to the gckey account I created.
