To all TRV hopefuls in the house, I see no reason why we should start raising a bad alarm about we Nigerians. Sending bulk messages will definitely raise a false alarm about us. The more messages we send, the more they understand our frustration and our eagerness to leave the country due to our economic problems. Believe me or not, they have made certain decisions, our mere complaints will have no effect. Besides there are better ways to go about stuffs like this rather than start chocking them with messages. Let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Please house I need ur advice on this matter, this is the second time am getting such mail from CIC...exactly 24th of June I got the first mail...I submitted my application on 25th of may 2016 and did my biometric 27th of May 2016 at VFS office in Abuja...am yet to receive a medical call mail...I applied for PGC at Conestoga college for fall (September 2016) there resumption date is 5th of Sept...

My questions are:

1. Should write CIC Accra as regards why I have not been sent medical mail?

2. Should I just proceed with the medical examination at any of their approve office and send it to CIC Accra?

3. Should I go to VFS office and complain

4. Should I still wait until I get response from CIC.

Is anyone going through this same issue.

Lol. You're very funny. Your application is not even up to 10 weeks not to talk of 13 weeks and you're panicking. Wait till the normal processing time elaspses. And the processing time is 13 weeks. So try and engage in something else and take your mind off it. You're not the only one. A lot of PGC students haven't heard anything from CIC this month. So calm down. All iz well.

Fixed deposit investment certificates - #10.0m (both past and present certificates to show that the fund has been there for over 6 months)
Marriage cert.
Letter of consent from spouse
Spouse statement of acct. - #900k
Birth certificates of my two kids
BSc Cert.
Transcript
NYSC cert
Acceptance letter from UNB (Unconditional) MBA program
Duly completed Form A stamped and confirmed to be processed by my bank(CAD$16k) - though this was not processed by the bank eventually due to Fx constraints.
Evidence of Initial tuition deposit of CAD$1000
Evidence of Residence fee deposit CAD$500
Cover Letter from the Immigration lawyer

So my application has been approved... Haven't gotten a mail tho..
Timeline;
May 27th- online route upfront Medicals
July 15th- Medical updated to passed and passport request
July 21st- Application approved.

Tracked my visa and it's ready for collection
Document submitted;
CIC forms
Letter of acceptance
Police clearance,my birth certificate, WAEC cert., B.sc certificate

Proof of Funds:
Letter of sponsorship( my uncle is my sponsor however he did not sign the sponsorship letter... His wife signed)
Six months bank statement.
Letter of reference from the bank
First term tuition payment receipt.

I am working but I did not submit my SOA or any proof of work, no landed property document, no passport photograph of sponsor or my family and their pictures, no documents from my dad or he's SOA same goes for my mom.

I did not show any proof of relationship between myself and my my uncle and we don't have the same surname(basically just wrote he's my uncle) that's all and he dint even sign the letter of sponsorship.
Did not submit my uncles CAC documents or tax clearance or anything like That, not even his land property.

So yeah my documents were pretty simple, and God did it (my application will be 8weeks tomorrow)

Oh yeah my program has Co-op if you get an 80% average and you're able to get a placement so I requested for a co-op letter from the school for work permit and submitted that as well....

So am thankful to God.

My friend submitted same day as I did and she dropped her passport today.!

Did you apply with an upfront medical? If truly you CIC website is showing open, be rest assured that all is well . Don't be afraid . Probably your application will be the fastest here .
