Bruv I dint say you were completely wrong... It's an "assumption" you made..

They are not mere assumptions. I had to check more than 30- 40 successful applications and some refusals before I made the assumptions. Criticism is actually allowed smiley .

From my observation i think this week is for online applicants.

From the look of things, I sense that there is now a preference in the treatment of files due to the large number of applicants. It's like they are attending to files based on academic level. Probably Masters and P.hd students first, then they will come back to PGC, PGD & co. I just hope it's not so cuz it's gonna be a long wait angry

Hi guys,
Help me thank God, my friend got her passport request mail and medical update today ...
Well technically the mail came last night.
We both applied on the 27th of May.
Mine came last week and hers came this week.
Someone had a theory about when people get updates... It's quite wrong actually... Got mine on Thursday and she got hers on a Tuesday.

Sorry , You can't just conclude that it's wrong because your friend alone got a medical update today. More than 3 people have testified to it here. If your friend got her medical update today, It doesn't mean I'm wrong. Besides its only a theory I shared, you don't have to believe it.

Got my medical mail a few hours ago. So thankful as the wait was killing.

Sigh of relief.

I have sent an email to IOM to book an appointment for monday; no response yet. Can I just show up there on Monday or does my appointment need to be confirmed?

Like I said , medical mail show up on Mondays and Fridays (Today is Friday). Go get ur medical done . I wish you the best.

Hello guys in the house, Please help me suggest a style of letter that my Dad could issue for me to support my visa application. I have all my documents ready, am sponsoring myself and i have enough funds to cover my tuition and living cost. Am going for PGC and i have m study leave already. My Dad is a permanent Secretary in my state and i feel his input in form of letter will be advantage to my application.

You can get a consent letter from him

Its clear that CIC does not wanna give Visas to PGD OR PGC Applicants except in exceptional cases. Well I have been rejected too and am not reapplying. I had a BSC in computer Science and have tons of IT certs. Applied for a PGD and i got denied 2ce for personal reasons.

I gathered myself together and luckily landed an IT role in SA and have processed my work permit and am leaving later in July. To those waiting on canada for greener pastures good luck. I have wasted almost 2 years of my life chasing the CANADIAN dream. my advice if you have been denied do not waste more time. Just move on with your life.

Also pls am trying to get my 14k back from my school, they are yarning me super story to tell the CIC to email them that am not reapplying? who dem epp? when i needed their help they didnt help me to prove to the CIC why i need their visa.

well i have emailed lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca they replied me in 20 minutes and said i should email accra.immigration@international.gc.ca as they are the ones in charge of student visa issues. I followed instruction and emailed them.

I have emailed them since friday no response. I have called their office no reply.

Please abeg without this so called letter Fanshawe say dem no go process my 14k$ refund. My 14k na good money to carry along as i dey relocate abeg.

Abeg how else can i contact this accra embassy.

any idea would be useful.

cheers to all prospective TRV!

Bro @jargo192try and attach the refusal letter to a new mail requesting for the refund and send it to the school. The schools always need a proof of visa denial before they process your refund.

My medical call was on 23 June 2016. From the calendar, twas on Thursday. How about that?

@Team16 I mentioned Thursday in my post but it's rarely Thursdays. It doesn't mean they don't send medical mail on Thursdays. It's just that it's 30/100 you get a medical mail on Thursday.

I didn’t pay tuition fees before applying because the school did not require it before issuing an unconditional offer. I also didn’t get a study leave letter/letter of introduction from my work place, but to prove home ties I reassured the VO in my letter of explanation that I would definitely come back. I did not also include my personal bank statement. All the documents I submitted were photocopies except my parent’s bank statements and the letters address directly to the embassy.

I think this covers most of what I submitted. I hope it is of use to someone. Thank you guys a lot.

Congratulations. I guess I didn't make a mistake with that post grin

Good analysis by him and if he is right.

simply means, application reviews are done on Monday's and Friday's
thats when they decide to ask for medicals or sent refusal.

@oothoney. I didn't just conclude on it. I made a thorough research about it. If There are people who still do not believe ,then let the wait till they get a message and try compare the days with the post.

May we all hear a good news as soon as possible .

Rhegina, I am very happy for you. congratz

On a lighter note, where is that wonderful NLander who speculated that approval mails are usually within a particular day of the week?
I hope he mentioned Wednesday sha?
#You go fear speculations# grin

Hello @bosypumpin, I actually got to know those facts by going through the threads. You can check from part 1 to this part. I mentioned that approval mail drops on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I am sure the ladies got their mail today (Wednesday). If there is anyone who got a medical call or a refusal, it must have been on a Monday or Friday, rarely Thursday's. You can calculate it using the @rheginarh and @aishate Success stories . Check the dates on a calendar. Thanks

Congrats to the new TRV holders smiley

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR EVERYBODY
I have been a silent reader. I have made some discovery about how CIC process our applications. You don't have to stress yourself worrying for 7 days in a week. I discovered that VOs have specified days that they actually review your application. I made the discovery after sleepless nights of going through the threads and gathering vital informations from part 1 to this last part of the thread.

The following are each step of your application and the days they are reviewed by the VOs

1. Medical Request - Mostly Fridays & Mondays. Rarely Thursdays & Wednesday.

2. Medical Passed - Mostly Fridays & Mondays.

3. Approval Mail: - Mostly Tuesdays & Wednesdays, rarely Thursdays.

4. Refusal Mail: - Mondays & Fridays

5. Passport Dispatch: - Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

I concluded based on testimonies from Part 1 to this part of the thread.

Don't give yourself HBP. Once you don't get a mail on Monday, wait till Friday, and if you don't get on Friday you can always wait till Monday. Also, try and engage yourself in order things so you as to beat depression.

Congrats to those who have collected their TRVs.

Best of luck to the hopeful smiley

Stay Blessed cheesy
