Smh. That's the business of Ogun state. Lagos is the one to extend to Badagry. Ignorance is not bliss

Oga there’s no way at they’ll link a train from Agabra to Abeokuta. Can Ogun state government afford to do the rail within their own state? Or do you expect the Lagos state government to ignore rail going to other parts of Lagos and start building a rail connection for Ogun state?

It’s easier to connect from Agbara to Badagry than from Agbara to Abeokuta or wherever you mentioned.

Great! From Agbara, it should be connected to Abeokuta and from Abeokuta taken to Ibadan in conjunction with the Oyo state government ati be be lo.

The company should eventually be listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange so we can trade its shares.

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!

Agbara to Abeokuta ko. Agbara to Papalanto ni.

So they should skip extending it to Badagry and divert into Ogun state.

You that have a job, I want to believe you work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 30/31 days a month, 365/366 days a year.

It’s childish to think that because people talk about trends on your group means they’re jobless or you that don’t talk is more busy than some of them there.

I am on several group chats of old school friends, I barely say anything cos I don’t have what to say or just contribute to discussions that are important. It’s not that I’m the busiest person or those that discuss are jobless.

My secondary school Alunmi group is very useful and helpful to me. I remember a few weeks ago my younger brother's phone was stolen at gun point, I had to call the guy that added me to the group to ask if he knows anyone that works in the bank my brother banks with. He got me a contact in less than 3 minutes and the contact successfully helped me put the account on PND. This was around 10pm at night.

Several other connections are there to be made and used.

Kelklein:
I was in the bank today..

And honestly I was just shaking my head at the quantum of dollars people were passing round and handing to the fx designated tellers.. I told my friend that we ourselves are the problem of this country.. everybody just cashing in whenever they see any small opportunities not minding the repercussion of their actions on the country and the poor...

Those people are simply those that hoarded the dollars.. (Most kept them in their safes locked up at home hoping that it would get to over 2k.. now everyone is suddenly loading dollars out.. as a matter of fact, there is a dollar glut right now in Banks..

This is the right time for the CBN to put Nigeria first for once.. take the rate back to N500, you would see the BDC moderate to around N550.. watch fuel price crash and inflation normalise like a magic..

The big win here is that they have closed the big gap that causes abuse and arbitrage.. they have stopped the fx mádness

The rate won’t go below 800 as stipulated in the 2024 budget.

But why would a start up pay 500k naira?

Funds to be channeled to research and development ate used to pay unsustainable salaries.

Why won't it collapse?

Nigerian startups waste so much money on unnecessary ventures. They hope to get seeds funding to remain relevant.

Nigerian Startups will be paying millions of naira in salaries while generating way less than what they pay in revenue. Most startups hope on funding to stay afloat. I think this is wrong in running a business. Fine offices, big salaries and very little revenue.

Nigerian politicians and over inflating project costs. These silly inflated costs are some of the reasons we have price inflation in the country.

It’s funny how some of our Yoruba people have forgotten that just a little over a year ago they were forming alliances with the North and seeking their votes. You won elections now, you say they can go to hell. If we fight Igbo and Hausa finish, can the votes of only Yorubas make a Yoruba man president?

Half way Abuja- Kano Road
Many roads too numerous mention....no administration constructed roads like Buhari Govt in the history of Nigeria

Which road in Lagos is Ojota-Apapa?

The one I know that was constructed with concrete is Apapa-Oworonshoki and it was done by Dangote.

Oju ti yinnnnn!!! Many of you are always negative about every good thing that concerns others. It's so obvious. If one or two vehicle break down along the road, it's a normal thing. It's not like you moved 20km and came across up to 5 or 10 BRT buses broken down all at once. Mind you, the OP is not representing the state government on Nairaland. We know the kind of comments we see from people whose state governments are still far behind in their thinking. Their state is far behind but when they read news like this about Lagos, they still give very negative vibes. Oju ti yinnnn!!!

The original poster is Lagos state governor media adviser. That’s who made the post. The OP here just copied what he wrote and put here.

Olodo.

I am a Bonafide Awori. My hometown is Ibeshe in Amuwo Odofin LGA from Ayito family. If you know your way to where I mentioned go and ask about the family name I mentioned. Don’t play that silly card of he’s from another state with me.

I have seen better governance in Lagos to know when it is good enough or not.

Compare this present government and previous ones and you’ll see this is the worst we’ve had.

I pay taxes to Lagos state. I have a right to question what’s been done with the taxes I pay. I have used BRT buses a few times. I have a cowry card and I used the Lagos blue rail line once to see for myself.

I contribute more to the development of Lagos than you.

Also learn to spell. If you can’t, make use of your phone’s autocorrect feature.

This is so ridiculous that a presidential candidate will stoop this low. How is this any different from giving people transistor radio like Sheu Sani did the other time.

Is this what he want to use to get Muslim North vote in 2027?

CC: Mynd44

Shehu Sani was an elected senator when he shared radios. This man did this out of his own magnanimity and it’s not a must to vote him cos he did this.

Some govt officials talk like what I don’t understand.

If people said the buses would breakdown on the road or it’ll have terrible maintenance, it’s simply because they’ve seen what was done with the previous ones (non electric) that’s been bought.

What’s oju ti awon ota, when people were only pointing out poor maintenance culture of anything that belongs to the government. Even though monies are budgeted for these maintenance it still isn’t used for that purpose.

Just do your work and leave otas alone.

To the tribal bigots forming attache to Lagos. None of you, I repeat none of you is more of a bonafide lagosian than I am. If you’re confident that you can point to your fathers family in Lagos state, mention the family name.

Politics / Re: The Band A Challenge - JOIN NOW - Electricity Price Hike by Sheuns(m): 6:33am On Apr 06
These guys are liars. I bought 10k worth of power some days ago and I got just about 92.3kW. That’s about 108.3 Naira per kW. Before I used to get about 110 - 120 per 10k naira worth of power. If we do the maths both are above 66 naira/kW.

I wonder where they sell at 66 Naira/kW to consumers.

I barely get 4 hrs of power in a day nowadays. There’s been no power since yesterday. Over 24 hrs now.
