EreluRoz:
This is just the honest truth. Whatever we are facing now isn't Tinubu's fault, he met a disaster on ground, it has been an accumulated problem and there's no one that would have done an overnight miracle but we need him to do better because Nigerians are starving, we want result. Please put the country in your daily prayers, it's not as easy as you all are thinking.

The same way ya'll said Buhari met a mess when he became president.
Sports / Re: Super Eagles And Super Falcons Players Back Alex Iwobi After He Was Cyberbullied by Sheuns(m): 8:16am On Feb 13
The insults aren’t needed. Though it’s mostly twitter people that do such. When I saw the team playing too defensively from the start of the match I sensed a recipe for disaster. The Ivorians outplayed us from 1 till 90 minutes. It’s a final, come out and play then you can start playing defensively if you’re in the lead and in the dying moments of the game. I wasn’t expecting too much though, I would have been happy had we won, but I’m not sad either that we lost. We can try again in the next tournament. The players gave their best.

If media is the real reason for hike in prices, why are you selling a used 32” TV for 70k?

APC has outdone PDP in looting in the past 8 years.

Politics / Re: What Is The Point Removing Subsidies If You Are Going To Pay Higher Wages??? by Sheuns(m): 8:06am On Feb 10
Praxis758:
Removal of the fuel subsidy means more money will be accrued to the federal government because the funds being paid to the oil importers (called subsidy) has stopped.

The money being saved from the subsidy stoppage therefore flowed to the state governments on the name of federal allowances (FAAC).

Our state governors are in money now, but won’t talk to avoid being questioned about the hefty money in their treasuries. That’s wickedness on the path of the governors not justify the hefty sum available to them.

What’s the value of the money saved from subsidy removal?

100,000 Naira February last year isn’t of same value of 100,000 Naira February this year. It’s not about how much the money is, it’s about what value it holds.

The players are doing their duties well. Vice president go and do your own work well and let the players concentrate. Enough of all these compensations talks. I wish the players can just tell them to allow them finish what they started while they go and address the situation of the nation.

Case closed.

They outplayed Nigeria too by far. Nobody expected SA to play Nigeria like this. Those guys are good abeg.

Oga all Nigeria players are European players playing for Europe. So why will an underdog team like SA play Nigeria like this? Dey wan kew Nigeria. God abeg

Nigeria wasn't outrightly outplaying them anything. And that PK dey got was well deserved. So wtf are you saying? A Small team like SA outplayed Nigeria Europe players. E shock me! All their passes were accurate! Their shots were all on target! See their attacking na, very excellent! Omo dem wan kill Nigeria

Watching SA premier league made me appreciate South African football. It’s beautiful. All the players in the SA team are from their league and they understand each other very well.

Nigerian players play in European clubs but not the same team and quite a number of our players don’t get enough playing time in their clubs when compared to the SA counterpart. My prediction was a full time draw and the match to be decided by penalty.

Before an artist blows, the contract maybe unfavorable to him. But after you blow and stayed afloat for 2-3 years, I personally feel you’re in a position of power to renegotiate contract terms with your label if they still want you around and continue working with them or find another better label.

Running a business isn’t easy.

Politics / Re: We Thought No One Could Be Worse Than Buhari - Arewa Twitter Laments Hardship by Sheuns(m): 11:29pm On Feb 05
There’s need for history to be brought back in our curriculum. If we had history, majority would have known not to vote Buhari over Jonathan in 2015. That man scattered the Nigerian economy when he took power in 1983. He came in 2015 and repeated same thing. What made it worse is that there wasn’t any military takeover when he came back in 2015. He had 8 solid years to further scatter the nation economy, security and standard of living.

In just about 10 months, Tinubu has come and beaten Buhari’s 8 years horrible records. How on earth is that even supposed to be possible for a first class Accounting graduate?

The funny thing is the supported that are also suffering all these problems still defending these politicians that only pretend to care during election cycles and once they win, they go on looting and living in luxury for the next 4 years.

Politics / Re: Northern Politicians Who Stole $billions Are Organising Protest by Sheuns(m): 11:16pm On Feb 05
Curious345:
Nigerians must not allow these bunch of corrupt freaks destroy our dear nation .

Buhari ministers and hirelings literally stole Nigeria's money so blindly and badly that we became bankrupt .
Buhari was complicit in all their actions and he deliberately appointed armed robbers into sensitive positions in Nigeria; with the sole aim of looting and redirecting national wealth to his Fulani tribe and immediate family members. Most of them his relatives and member of his own tribe and religion .

These criminals looted IMF LOANS ,, FOREIGN GRANTS AND CHARITIES , THEY re-LOOTED RECOVERED LOOTS , they PRINTED MONEY AT THE CBN AND LOOTED IT , THEY USED MAGICAL PROCEDURES TO BUY STATE ASSETS INCLUDING BANKS AND A MOBILE TELECOM COMPANY ...

These dangerous criminal cabal are trying to use destabilising tactics to harmstring the current government of bola Ahmed Tinubu ,distracting him from the main business of the day and making it impossible to probe them .

Their actions are tantamount to state sponsor of terrorism and the president must be resolute and proactive enough to have them arrested and prosecuted immediately ..

Who are the Nigerians you’re referring to stop the protests?

Everybody Dey gba at the moment. No light, fuel costly, food expensive and you’re heaping the blame on Buhari? Did Buhari remove fuel subsidy and float the naira?

She is talking rubbish. How much does she think level 16 and 17 civil servants are earning especially in Rivers, Lagos and federal?

Senior Civil servants in NNPC and some others will conveniently send their children abroad to school

A level 17 officer in Lagos civil service earns between 500-600k depending on parastatal. May be more in some agencies. But majority earn in that range.
